    Do This
If you get a call from 866-294-1752, ignore it.  Put your name on the National Do Not Call List (unfortunately, it'll take up to 30 days for your number to be taken off the telemarketers' lists).  Register your complaint on line at the National Do Not Call List site and ensure that you want them to contact you and provide a follow-up to your complaint (makes sure that they will take some action).  The more people who complain through this process will eventually force the bureaucracy to take some action.

Icon collections. They do collections for old traffic tickets but you can ask them for the documents and then they are screwed. They tend to call multiple times a day and leagally they can only call 3 times in 7 days so it is easy to screw them. (google "collection laws in Cnada")

I am also having fun with them. I htink I have one guy close to tears and suicide.

ICOR or CBCL collection agency. Very rude people. called through-out holidays. All calls from this number are auto forwarded to Phone Busters
    and a log file generated.
Even if you warn them they made be held responsable for harassment, they will not stop calling. I have no credit cards or debits yet they keep calling. There is a lawyer set date for them to stop calling us. I wonder if they will stop. Our new year will have very little of this crap once we are finished with these people.

My parents also recieved a call from IQOR looking for myself regarding an apparent outstanding Roger's Cable account for $428.18. I gathered the account number in question, called Roger's, and found out a fraudulent account was setup by my ex but the balance was $317.00. Thankfully I had a reasonable rep from Rogers who reasoned with the account activity that it was indeed fraudulent. Hopefully this ends the calls from IQOR. IQOR is a collection agency, however apparently they don't do any background information checks and just follow what they are sent. My advice is if they call you, get the account number in question and call the originating company to verify what is being alleged.

National Do Not Call List will not work.
Since these people make 3 calls + each day.
This bill clearly states what debt collectors are allowed to do and not allowed to do.

I have Iqor calling me almost every day. They can call me up to 10 times in a day. This for one is harassment and you can file a formal complaint, the form that I printed out is an alberta form, but im sure anyone can get one from their government website. I myself have allready previously warned them that calling more than 3 times a day is illegal. Apparently they dont listen

    Collection agent regulator
It is definitely Iqor Canada (previously Canadian Bonded Credits Limited) which is a licensed collection agency. How I know this is that I am an Investigator with one of the provicial ministries which license and investigate complaints against collection agents. There are very strict rules in most provinces that regulate this industry. If you are receiving calls from this company for persons unknown, treated rudely, threatened, or harassed etc..CONTACT your provincial regulator and file a complaint. Most are part of the Justice Ministries across Canada, same with the USA. Some provinces also ban calls to cell phones if the call results in costs, including used air time...check it out...FILE COMPLAINTS

    1-800-943-3250, 1-877-891-1348, 1-234-567-8900 is MCS,
These numbers are all linked and they all share your personal
info. DO NOT CALL FROM YOUR WORK OR HOME NUMBERS. *67
(to block your number) does not work with these people.
They will still know the number you are calling from.
USE A PAYPHONE IF YOU WISH TO CALL THEM BACK. And remember,
Do not call lists and The National "Do Not Call List"
does not work at all !

    confused
Got this call from 1-866-294-1752. I said hello. No one was there.
It was a recording saying that it was very important that I call
1-866-294-1752 right away. No one likes getting phone calls then
hearing a recording. You would think that if someone is calling
you, there would at least be someone to talk too. Not in this case!
This is an ignorant collection agency called IQor. It also goes by
CBCL. Every hit on the internet has bad things to say about these
people's methods of contacting us. I just found out that the posts
on the internet are true. Another number they call from is
1-877-503-2115. A good friend warned me not to call back to find out
what they want. they'll just give your number to someone else to use
against you. Another point is, if you answer to these calls you've
confirmed that there is someone at your number and they can contiue
to harass you even more. I would think, (a toll free number) one
could use a payphone to call these turkeys back.

    Very Mad
This is IQOR or CBCL collection agency. People that don't have a great track
record on the internet. They are the most rude people you will ever have to
deal with in your life. They actually enjoy harassing you very much so. It can be 5-10 years after a debit has been paid and they'll still drive you crazy and give your number to other agencies to continue the harassment
forever. the only way to get them to stop is to get an unlisted phone number. Here are a whole bunch of toll free numbers so you can drive them nuts using a phone booth. Don't use your home or work numbers because the *67 feature (to block your #) does not work for these people. They can still see the number you are calling from. They pay for this blocking to be
overridden. Here are some numbers; 1-877-503-2115, 1-866-294-1752,
    1-866-205-3071, 1-800-834-5467, 1-866-277-5467, 1-866-227-5467,
    1-866-205-3061, 1-800-811-4214, 1-888-804-8198, 1-800-657-2057.
Did you know that by law they are only aloud to call you every 6 days. They
call sometimes 6 time a day. Not enough people are fighting these pests,
that's why they keep getting away with this crap. Help us all, by giving them a hard time as well!

    LINKED
1-234-567-8900 is MCS (Mutual Consolidated Services), a credit card
rate reduction outfit. They have other numbers; 1-888-878-1014,
1-800-943-3250, 1-877-891-1348 that should not be contacted using your
home or work phone numbers! No matter what you do, 'They will Know"
which number you are calling from! Use another number, such as a local
Payphone if you do want to call them. They are linked too...
1-877-503-2115 which is CBCL (Canadian Bonded Credits), a collection agency.
And 1-866-294-1752 which is IQOR, the same collection agency with new name.

Important Note if you do owe money. All these companies share your personal
information. This includes; Your Full Name, Your Address, Your City, Your
Postal Code, Your Place Of Emplyoment, All Your Contact Phone Numbers
(Home, Cell & Work), and most important, the amount of money you owe and to
whom you owe it! Private tests have been conducted With These Collection
Agencies. Impersonaters have called requesting info on the amount of money
owed. On numerous occasions (recorded calls) this information was freely
given out by the employees of these collection agencies without forthought.
Personal info was given out every time, when it shouldn't of been because
they were not really talking to the person who has the debit.

Another Note: The National "Do Not Call List" does not work. In fact, it
helps make the problem worse! As you all have heard in the news, these
lists are being sold and swaped with all these types of agencies.

Got another call from the collection agency IQOR-CBCL.
They had to make another call before the weekend. What am I talking
about? They'll call on Saturdays & Sundays too! They are mixed up scam
artists working for the main man who lives here and owes more money than
anyone else, with all of his stupid credit cards. Lets say you owe
$50.00 for a parking ticket, and the guy who runs the place owes $50,000
(or more) in credit card debts. Well guess who gets bothered the most?
You guessed it, the guy with the parking ticket! Does this make sense?

Remember, if this is happening to you, don't call them back from your home
or work phone numbers. Even if you dial *67 to block your number it won't
work. IQOR/CBCL will still know your calling from your home/work number. This will confirm to them you are at that number. However, calling from a
payhone (tollfree) and driving them crazy will get them to let up on you
a little bit. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE !!!

IQOR IS REALLY PUSHING IT'S LUCK WITH US !
They called again today at exactly 1:27 PM. Everyone should see
the log file generated by our CID programs over the last 4-5 years.
And the number of times they call us in one day. We will make these
files available for everyone to see online very very soon. And
sooner if they keep calling our home and work numbers regularly.
