Jody, did you just send it back to the address listed (1104 Rue Moffat)? This is not a real address so I just wanted to confirm that is what you used before returning this!

We too have been targetted.... they sent us an invoice for goods we not only didn't order, but didn't even receive. I shredded the invoice and promptly forgot about it. They followed up with a phone call, saying that a certain person in our office had approved the sale. When asked who, the name they gave was my MOTHER, who has never ever worked even a day in our office, and was actually out of the country on the day she supposedly ordered the toner. They can't tell me what they sent, just that is was "for our fax". I called phone busters as someone previously suggested and they helped ALOT. Most important thing is to NEVER PAY A CENT, to be tough, tell them you dodn't order, you will NEVER pay them a cent, and to go away. Send a letter to this effect and if they don't like it, they can take it to the Competition Bureau... they won't do that as they would be investigated by them. The phone buster rep also said they might call pretending to be a colection agnecy, but don't be foold, a real collection agency wouldn't deal with the likes of them. These people are RUDE jerks, trying to sucker people in. Obviously it must work some of the time, or they wouldn't continue on in the fraud. I hope they get caught and put in jail!

BE AWARE! this company has now scammed us twice! we have never even ordered from this company EVER! They just randomly sent us ink twice and used my name on the invoice and said that i ordered it for our fax machine! i have tried to call them all week and no one answers the phone! if you look up the address on google maps you can zoom in on the street and the address on the invoice is just a bunch of town homes... so either its a fake address or the fool is running this business out of his home! be very careful! i have reported them to the phone busters!

Yep they just called me and suckered me into thinking that someone from our office talked to them last month. They got our addy, my name, and our Copier model by tricking me into telling them. I got suspicious and googled all the info and came up at this site. When the package comes I will simply NOT accept it...and see what happens. The guy said his name was Brian Narkus and the company was "Laser Recycling Network" out of Montreal.

Laser Recycling Network called me at my company. I am the receptionist and do take care of most matters. However, a guy name Brian asked me what type of printer we have, asked for my name and confirmed my address.

About a week later I received 1 ink cart. For the company's printer. 3 weeks later received a bill of $434.67 could not believe it.

I brought it up to my boss's attention and immediately called them. No one would answer my call so I left a msg. I went on Google and did some research about this company. I did not know they were a complete scam until I read this forum. Could not believe it. I didn't even order anything!

A guy named Daniel called me back, and told me I ordered 5 ink cart. I denied it and told him to pick this crap up! Not only did he tell me to f*** off but hung up on me. We're not paying for this.

Pls do not be fooled by them. They are complete scam artist and are not receiving a penny from us.

Please use the GST or QST number to identify the company. the phone number and  address can be changed.

    GST: 843331398 RT0001
    QST: 1206087532 TQ0001

When you check with the QST, GST number, you will get the their legal name, which is Reseau De Recyclage Laser. Use those offical number and name to report BBB, FBI, or RCMP.

You think $100.00 is resonable?   I'm  glad you don't work for my company. I received an ink cartridge yesterday, I have not been  been invoiced yet but just let them try.  Since no one here  ordered it as far as I'm concerned it's a free sample. If they want it back they can come and get it.

Wow I'm really glad I found this website.  Thanks everyone for confirming what I suspected about this company.  Last week I received toner from them and no one here ordered it . They called one of my co workers and all they asked him for was  our fax model  number and our address. No one asked him if we wanted to order toner.  Too bad they are not aware of the laws governing unsolicited merchandise.  You don’t have to pay for goods you have not asked for  and (unless you actually did order the toner)  it's  illegal to bill you for something  that was sent without your  consent. Don’t fall into the guilt trap and  think you have to pay to return it either.  They sent it and it's up to them to get it back. If they try to  threaten you into paying them just tell them you will be taking  the matter up with the better business bureau and phone busters. Both are  quite familiar with Laser Recycling Network.

Same thing just happened to our small firm here in BC.  I am the person responsible for ordering office supplies, and was away from the office for a week and a half, and they managed to convince the person answering the phone that they had solid ink for our Xerox copier put away for us... and upon return to the office, there it was... just got the invoice and it's for three and a half times the price I would pay here locally.  Will be sending back, even if I pay shipping, and not paying any invoice.

I'm also in B.C. We received one box of toner which we ignored because no one here ordered it then today the invoice came. C$ 434.67 for 1 toner, how dumb do they think people are?   I was going to return the toner  but I'll bet that they will claim they never received it and quite honestly I don't think I should have to pay to return something I didn't order.  Anyway, many thanks to  the people on this forum who recomended Phone busters. They were  very helpful.

I am in BC too. It seems they are focus on BC firms now. I won't pay the bill and won't return the toner either. I am expecting their call and I will tell them to contact with my lawyer, his number is 911. lol

I just wonder why RCMP don't take some measures to stop them.

That's a good question aa  because what they are doing is definitely criminal.  When I called Phone busters the woman I spoke to  told me she was passing the informing on to the RCMP  as these guys do seem to be concentrating on this area and she has had  a lot of  complaints.

This is a scam.  We just received the invoice and toner as well.  I have logged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.  We will not pay this invoice but I am sending the bill back to them with a copy of the complaint form filed and a warning that if they continue to harrass our organization we will contact legal and deal with them that way.

The toner can be picked up at their expense - otherwise it will be pitched.

Do not put up with this crap.  I googled the business and its a row house - complete scam.

That's the best way to get rid of  these jerks. Not only are they obviously operating out of some one's  house, They don't have a web site, or a fax number like a real company does and  who in B.C. is going to order toner  from Quebec when it's so easy to just buy it here  from someone you know (and  for a fraction of the cost these idiots are charging).  A scam?  oh yes and  a very poorly  planned  one at that.

Same thing happened at my company.  They called to confirm our mailing address and asked my name, next thing I know we get 2 toners in the mail with my name on them for our fax machine.  Over a month later we get two invoices, dated the same day, different invoice #'s, two different amounts $345.40 & $357.93.  And to top it all off they are charging 14% tax which does not match the sales tax rate in any province in Canada.  Thank you all for the information, I have contacted Phone Busters and also logged a complaint on recol.ca

Does anyone know how to get a hold of this "company"? I called the 800 number several times and can't get through, someone called to confirm our address (which I confirmed), then a call later of someone asking me what kind of printer we have.. I just thought it was some kind of market research. Has anyone had success with just sending back the package?
