- The real andrew replies to Joe K| 2 repliesIt wasn't me who replied to you it was obviously them. My Brother was never arrested intact he has a lot of evidence and suggestions. This is getting crazier and crazier. Imagine pretending to be me! That would first require some spelling lessons and more than half a brain! What a bunch of morons to say its a legit company because paper work was provided that doesn't even make sense. I was just going to let this go but now they have asked for it!
Now let's get to business people.

- A.J. replies to AndrewWow 'Andrew', you sound very professional! It's obvious that you work for this so called 'legit' company. These type of comments have been done before in this forum and they are just lame. We all know you're a bunch of people trying to take advantage of businesses out there.
But my company, as well as many others have submitted reports to the Competition Bureau Canada and sooner or later you will be caught.
Does this sound familiar to you? http://www.competitionbureau.gc.ca/eic/site/cb-bc.nsf/eng/03234.html#s1

- **This place is a SCAM beware of their calls. They have called us several times and claim to be Ricoh customer service, this toner will damage your machine and you will be charged close to $500.00!!!!
If they call you at all just HANG UP!!! dont sign for their packages either, just return them and you wont see an invoice. - Come CollectOur receivers signed for a box too....invoiced at $476.07. I've called and thanked them for the gift. If anyone from this company would like the product back, return the call I left on your answering machine today 9you'll know which one). You are welcome to arrange for the retrieval of the product. I've seen this before and its fun to watch them try to collect payment.

- ABSCAM!!
We received a call too (Edmonton, Alberta) from someone claiming to be our toner supplier. I should have known at that point, but I am still new to the position, so I thought this could be a legitamit call, I'll hear what he has to say, but I was still hesitant. When he asked me to confirm the lazer printer model I have behind me, I did. I thought no big deal, he knows there's a printer right behind me...!? When he started mentioning actually sending me a toner, etc. and that someone would call me back to confirm "the order" I told him that I don't know about this, and I would have to check with a colleague before I would accept any such order. He asked my name so that when they called back the following day they knew who to speak to. I told him my name, again reluctantly....I should have know better. But I thought, at least I can tell him myself where to go, if it is a scam, when they call back. Well, they never did call back, but we did receive a box in the mail. I will NOT be opening it, and will defintely NOT be using it. Send me an invoice, I didn't order it!!! Such a SCAM!- Caller: Laser Recycling Plus
- RMWe received a call from these people asking questions about our printer. (they already knew the model number...must have called previously and obtained it somehow). The person who took the call said that he was not authorized to make any decisions about purchasing or answer any questions otherwise. The caller the asked for his name (which he gave them unfortunatley) Low and behold 2 weeks later we received a toner cartridge and an invoice for 463.65.
This cartridge can be purchased at Staples for 90 bucks.
I did call the company and manage to get through to a human after many attempts. I was less than pleasant and basically told them to get F@&%**D.
Have no intention of paying or shipping the cartridge back......if they want it they can come and get it.
.I have contacted the federal competition beuro (BBS does not handle complaints out of Qubec) I would advise everyone else to do the same. their # is 819-997-4282- Caller: LASE RECYCLING PLUS
- TW| 1 replyWe received a toner cartridge as well. We sent it back, the courier tried to deliver it 6 times and it then was returned to us. We're just going to throw it out as they're not answering or returning our calls. We'll be making all the calls to register our complaint. I'm looking forward to getting a call back to have a chat with these morons.
PS. To the Scammers - Run your posts though a spell checker before posting them. Although they are humourous, there's nothing more annoying than trying to read your grade one level spelling.- Call type: Telemarketer
- SeniorMoment replies to AmberI have been extremely pleased with the toner refill cartridge service I use, http://tonerrefillkits.com/ but beware there are a limited number of times you can refill any cartridge that has a built in drum without inserting a new drum into the cartidge or buying a new one. Some cartridges even contain replaceable parts desides toner.
- Senior Person replies to GSIt may well be a scam. It is courteous to return something sent unsolicited to you, but as I recall you are not obligaed to so at all or to pay for the product, as long as it isn't simply an address mix-up. We all need to remember that every company makes mistakes. Ask though for them to send a prepaid return shipping form with RMA number. This is general advice not specific to this phone number.
- Senior Person replies to JimResponsible businesses operating legally know they must have a credit card or a company invoice to authorize a shipment. Report any offenders to your state's consumer protection unit of the Attorney General. So far I have helped put two misleading businesses out of business.
- wowser replies to TWJust got scammed from them.. Good thing the person who ansered the phone was not authorized to purchase anything. Laser Recycling never asked if she was the purchasing agent. Canadian law (not Quebec Law) requires the vendor to confirm if the person talking on the other end of the phone (the buyer) actually has purchasing rights for the company.
The invoice is null and void if the purchasing agent didn't authorize it. If you are a Quebec resident that got scammed, you may be up the creek without a paddle. Canadians can rejoice that this Quebec business does not know their Canadian law. - frozendozer replies to SCwhen ever i have something like this, i ask the person on the phone, to send me proof of identification. when asked why, i then tell them , I need to make sure, the person i am talking to is who is claiming to be. i tell them i require passport, drivers lic. or oher government issue id. I then expalin to the person, that this is not a normal course of business for us, and we will be refering the matter to the RCMP, therefor require proof of identification, in order to assist the police in their investigation. Seems to never bother us again after that.
