For anyone wondering how to return the toner well, you don't have to.   This is from the BBB web site  regarding toner scams.  "If you receive supplies or bills for services you didn't’t order, don’t pay, and don’t return the unordered merchandise. You may treat unordered merchandise as a gift. By law, it’s illegal for a seller to send you bills or dunning notices for unordered merchandise, or ask you to return it even if the seller offers to pay for shipping"   They either have the choice of picking it up at their expense or you can just throw it away.

We also received an un-ordered laser toner from this company, and have had collection calls from the 866-303-8803 phone number.  Interesting - This toner will be sent back, and the invoice will be dealt with accordingly.

we are a small firm in burlington ontario and have just received a call from 'Brian Smarcus" with the same misleading tactics as described in many of the other posts here.  I called the Laser Network Recycling number and of course, all their agents were busy.    I had a gut feeling while the phone call was happening and I should have told him to shove off.  I will not be paying for anything that arrives here from them, I will not sign for it -  except for return to sender with the courier.   I am on hold with Phonebusters right now and my best friend is an RCMP officer so I will getting proactive with this waste of time crap.  If you are reading this Brian Smarcus or whatever your name is - probably not brave enough to use your real one, you are an [***] of the highest caliber.  I hope that you end up screwing yourself in the worst way. You are a no good waste of time loser and thats all you will ever be.  Why dont you try working a real job...........dickwaad

Thanks to all that posted this, it was a huge help. I too received a toner at my company that no one ever ordered. So I followed up with Phone Busters and they were great with helping me. Did anyone have to write a letter to the company? If so, what address was it sent to, as I believe the address on the dreadful invoice doesnt exsist.
I am in process of getting this issue sorted out by sending them a letter. Cross my fingers that it works!
Please reply with a correct address, that would help!
    Thank you!!

Someone named Brian called and asked to verify our company mailing address and asked what kind of printer we had. A cartridge showed up that no one ordered and the packing slip that came with the box was cut off so that it was only 2/3 of the page. There was no total or anything. I tried calling the company but no answer.

We also recieved a toner cartridge that no one in our office ordered as we get ours for free with our copier contract. It did not include an invoice. A few weeks later we recieved the invoice for close to $400. I got their phone number from the internet and called and told them we would be sending it back and DO NOT send us anymore. That was a couple of months ago and I haven't heard from them since.

Our organization just received an invoice from this company. What I would like to know is are they only contacting people out of their province? Or are they targeting anyone and everyone? I dealt with them one occasion before and an employee followed through and returned at our expense. After having read this have let them know not to accept or return at our expense. I call the number on the invoice and let them know that there was no authorization for purchase and there will be no payments made to them and that we will no longer be taking a second look at this company. I sent out a notice to all offices to not accept anything from this company ever.

Toner cartridge arrived here via Canada Post.  Did not order the cartridge and now an invoice appears for
$434.67.  I have tried to contact them at phone number 1-866-303-8803 and of course got a recording.  Left message to have call returned and nothing.  Trying to devise a way to ship them a ton of locally grown manure just to see how they like that.  SCAM!!!!!! No doubt.

They're still at it. Sent us an invoice for $434.67 for a toner cartridge worth $45.00.
I googled them & found out it's a SCAM. Don't pay them EVER. I'm going to call Revenue Canada
on them because even if only some of their invoices were paid, sure as hell, they didn't submit the GST!
Get the BIG DOGS on them! Their GST # is 843331398 QST is 1206087532

We were charged $434.67 for an ink cartridge that we normally get from Staples for $21.00 When they called to collect I told them that I did not order anything so I am not paying for anything. They said they were sending us to a collection agency.

We have been fighting with this company for 9 months now. Over a year ago, our reception desk received a phone call during our peak hours for phone calls. The individual on the phone asked for our address, and said that they were supposed to be sending us a cartridge. They asked to confirm the equipment number, and that was it. We then received a box from a company that we had never ordered from, so we left it alone. Later, we received an invoice for $434.67. Our reception team figured that we just ordered it accidently and it was our fault, so we paid it. Four months later they sent us another order of three cartridges. We were going through transitions, so the cartridges were just put away and used. Again, our fault for using the cartridges, so we paid the invoice. Four months later, they tried to deliver another order. We set up a courier, and we sent it back. We got ANOTHER deliver two weeks later. At that point we called and said that we didn't order any of these cartridges, and that we had never ordered anything. The rep told us that we had agreed to a orde schedule, which means that every four months they would send us an order of three cartridges, totalling over $1300. We told him that we don't use them that quickly, and we don't want to order any more. He said, "we can freeze your account, and you can contact us when you are ready to order more." We settled for this, and didn't receive any more orders from them. In the past few weeks, they have been trying to get us to pay for an order that we didn't get. They claim that they have proof that we accepted the delivery. When we asked to see this they sent us a typed up letter saying that it was signed for by "Amanda P"; we do not have an Amanda working with us, and we never have. They also claim that we never sent back our order. We have a DHL slip proving that they received our return. I've left a message for "Gail" in accounting, and when they call back, I will be firmly telling "Gail" that we will not be paying this invoice. Any suggestions of other ways to get rid of them?
