Received a call from Laser Recycling Plus, 821 de l'Eglise, Verdun, QC, H4G 2N3
866-295-7860 billed us 1 HP cartridge for $354.79.
    Fax 514-362-8244

Thinking it was part of our service, unbeknownst to me, accepted the service, Received one box with 1 cartridge. Anyone else received this call?

Anyone in Verdun know about this company?

Our business owner called the company in Verdun back (we're in Ontario) and they said it was a mistake in the invoice and faxed us back a new invoice for 2 HP 94 Black Ink cartridges, Twin Pack, that you can get at Staples for $49.96 plus tax. They charged shipping to Ontario from Verdun, Quebec
    1-877-465-8032 Fax 1-514-362-8244
2 cartridges for use in HP Officejet 6210 for 59.78 plus shipping 14.99 for total new invoice of $84.49.

Compared to Staples twin pack for 49.96 plus GST for a total of 56.45.

This does not make sense. Why ship something you can purchase at your local Staples store from Verdun to Oakville.
I have family in Quebec and will check it out. RIP OFF ARTISTS. WILL BE REPORTED TO THE POLICE.

"Brad" called me this morning insisting we had had a conversation back in August 2010 regarding toner cartridges for our fax machine. He tried to advise we had purchased before and that since toner prices have gone up that as a favour they had held 2 toner cartridges special for us at the "old price".   When I advised him we had NEVER used his service and that we had never had a discussion regarding toner he tried to say he had spoken to someone else in my office.  All decisions regarding office supply purchases are through me and I keep extensive records.  Further, our machine uses ink cartridges not toner cartridges.   I told him to not send any cartridges to us as we would not pay for anything we did not order.  Beware folks this guy is a scammer and if you receive any cartridges refuse delivery on them and do not pay any invoices he sends you from this company.  Now I am off to file a formal complaint with the BBB.

I have just recieved another call from GAIL following up. I expressed that i was happy that she had called as we had never recieved anything from her or her "company". She insisted that we did. I informed her that we would not be paying the invoice as we did not order the materials. This person then was rude with me and cut me off while speaking. I informed her that is she could prove to me that we indeed recieve a toner from them that I would be please to mail it back however they would be paying for the postage upon recieving the item. She asked for my fax number and i have yet to recieve anything from them. She told me that I had conversations with two people regarding their product. I told her that I was infact new to my position and that we would not order product from them as our machine is a rental. I also informed her that when I recieved her invoice i googled them and found a blog stating that they were a fraudulent company. Her response to me was that they could not keep everyone happy.
WOW!!!! These people need to be shut down.

We received the same call yesterda, and my staff member took the call without realizing it was a scam.  I thought it sounded fishy, seeing as they did all the "printer maintenance" on us, but yet still needed us to tell them the make and model of the printer.  I googled the name and found this post.  They told him they would be calling back the next day to confirm.

When they called back, I informed them that I knew they were a scam and the lady said "I will not be sending you the cartridges. Bye"

    Scammers make me irate.

I too received a phone call, some how they knew what printer I owned already & advised they were sending me the free cartridges that were due to me as part of the printer purchase.  My bill is for $476.07.  I called the police who put me on to the CANADIAN ANTI-FRAUD CENTRE 1-888-495-8501.  REPORT THESE SCAM ARTISTS

I too was scammed by this company. I just had my machine serviced and the service guy told me that these are not the right cartridges and that we could be charged if we use them. I told him that we are not going to use them and are going to send them back.

I have been contacting this company, LASER RECYCLING PLUS since last week regarding an invoice for product that was not ordered the same "GAIL" but of course  I was asked to leave a message and when I did get someone Gail wasn't available apparently they conduct a phone survey to get your copier information then two weeks later product arrives.  I left a message requesting prepaid postage be sent to our office or a courier sent to pick it up,  No response to date.

I found the information on this company...

    821, rue de l'Église, Verdun, QC, H4G2N3

If you copy this address into google, it looks like a small front office next to a tatoo place.

    514-362-0404

This looks like the main line for the office.  I called & was imediatly connected to the sales person.

Like everyone else on this post, we were contacted "out of the blue".  The sales person knew what type of equipment we had & said that they were going to send us 2 free cartriges to finish our contract for the year.  We have never used this company in the past.

Yes...I just received an invoice for $467.69 for toner that was suppost to be free due to our printer maintenance lease agreement. So I thought...I did receive a call from this company saying that due to our lease agreement, we were entitled to a free toner maintenance package and to just verify the address to send it to. Which I thought was weird as they should already know my address but thought that they were just being professional and business like. They talk the talk as they called our office right at a peak time and sold us a scam! I called them when I received this invoice and told the girl who answered the phone that there must be some miscommunication or something as I received a bill for $467.69. She asked me to hold and then I got a voicemail. I left a long message to this phoney voicemail and haven't heard back. I tried calling the phone number again later on and the girl doesn't answer the phone anymore...went directly to voicemail! So I decided to check their company out on the web and that's where I saw tons of others like me who were also scammed! I called the police right away and are waiting for them to come and take a statement from me. These people need to be stopped as it is wrong! I googled the address and it is to an empty office space for lease or rent...grrr!!!

Laser Recycling Plus called our clinic. I talked with a Ron and he said that because we were such good customers he wanted to send us 1 free ink cartridge for our printer. He knew our address and exactly what type we ordered and said he would ship it out right away. Well it came in the mail thankfully we never opened it because later we recived an invoice in the mail for $413.97!!! It only costs us $89 to purchase. WHAT A SCAM!

So this scam just happened again in WINNIPEG. I had received a phone call about a month ago from these people and they made it seem like we had done previous business with them and were just confirming our equipment and said that we were on a service schedule or something and would be sending out supplies for our photocopier. I wasn't sure what they were talking about as I have only been employed here for a short while. However, two weeks ago I ordered toner for the machine from our service contract provider and received it from a local company within two days. Just today this unordered "laser cartridge" showed up in the mail from Laser Recycling Plus from Quebec. I refused to accept it and the postman will return it to sender. I also called their phone number 1-866-295-7860 and left a strong but polite message telling them to basically bugger-off and never try contacting my company again and that I had better not receive an invoice. I will be reporting them to whomever I can. Maybe I will start with our local TV station consumer reporters.....

We just got a call from this number. They said something about a warranty program and then mumbled that they are going to send us cartridges and hung up before I could reply. I thought it was suspicious, so I looked it up online and found this site. Thanks - now we'll know to refuse the package.

My office experienced a similar situation with this company. my brother is a lawyer, he has advised me to return the product immediately, track the package then once I have confirmation that it is received back tell them I want an invoice faxed over reflecting a 0 balance and a letter promising they will never contact my business again!
