- Caller: landell or zandell comunications?
- TJ replies to Chris| 1 replyHey Chris, the site www.global-solutionsllc.com looks like a civil engineering firm. Are you sure you didn't mean www.global-solutionllc.com instead?
Is Global Solution part of Mitchell Communications or Faithful Marketing or Vandell Communications or what every your marketing company is calling itself these days? - DJICreceived the exact same message as TJ did on 11/16/2010. The the last message left indicated the prize or the award would go to the next person if a call was not returned.
Thanks all for alerting for others. Perhpaps a letter to the consumer affairs office in Florida or what ever state this practice comes from might help consumers BEWARE during these tough economic times.- Caller: Vandale Communications
- mark replies to ChrisChris,
"Christie" from your office called my grandparents telling them they won a car. Do you have any idea how screwed up you have to be to prey on the elderly. They are so nervous my grandma can barely talk because she thinks she won a big prize. I on the other hand know what Google is and found this site. Feel lucky Terry town NY is 2 hrs away from us or I would personally pay you a visit. Come to think of it I still might. Get a real job you stupid jerk.

- DanI received a call from Christopher from Vandale today. Same BS as everyone reported. I called the number, x109 and eventually got a woman after being autorouted a few times, likely somewhere else in the country. The woman said that this was a promotion for a new travel agency and I had one one of their top 3 prizes, but Chris's message mentioned 4 prizes. Top prize was a Ford Explorer, not a Lincoln Navigator as others have mentioned. The woman said I had to write down a claim number and go to an address she would give me to claim my prize. I asked her why she couldn't be more exact about how she got my number, just saying it was from a sweepstakes entry form I filled out in the past 12-18 months at a shopping mall or some other BS place. I told her I was shocked that she couldn't explain with more detail about how she got my information, but then asked me to verify my name, marriage status, age and minimum income level was over $60K. When I told her I wouldn't be confirming anything she immediately ended the call. SCAM.
A personal note to "Chris":
Chris,
If you are a marketing company, you suck at it. I read the few posts you entered into this forum, and you can't spell to save your life. What the hell is a bloog? Also, if you're going to post on this forum with the website that is supposed to make your claims appear more legitimate (which it doesn't, my dog could make a more convincing site), you should at least try to post the URL correctly without spelling errors sending your potential fish to a Civil Engineering site. Truly astounding.- Caller: Vendale Communications

- JohnSame call from Christopher. Flag goes up when someone says to redeem your prize you must
1. bring your wife/husband (overcome the "need to check with my spouse objection)
2. Bring drivers license and credit card as a second form of ID (The government won't take a credit card as a second form of ID. This is to make sure you can pay for something when you are there.)
3. The prize location is not close by. (They want you to travel far enough but not too far to make it inconvenient. If you invested 3 hours of travel time you have bought in which is the first step to making the sale, whatever that is.)
I have no doubt that prizes will be awarded and of the many people who come to these events 1 out of the many each year wins the car and 1 wins the big cash award. The rest get relatively inexpensive TVs and trips that the travel agencies get as barter or for free as incentives to do business with hotels airlines etc.
All in all my time is worth more and if they want me for a sales pitch, pay me $500 and offer to put me up in a hotel for an overnight if I have to travel more than 1 hour. Good luck "Christopher"- Caller: Vandell Communication
- SWANGot the call as well!!!
Has anyone attended the actual tour? A scam would mean there were no prizes at all right? - SWAN replies to ChrisSo Chris tell me where I can go to find the winners from the past? Why do i have to have my spouse, income and ID? Why? Please explain everything to me and convince me to go to Mansfield MA to get my "prize" Can I see the prizes before I go? If I win the trip where do I have to fly out of? Why can't I be a minute late?
- wiseman| 2 repliesReceived same exact message (and call back number) as appears in other posts, from Christopher. Caller ID showed 708-248-7185 and the company it was listed to was PRIZE CARD SERVICES. The post by user "Realistic" summarizes it best: "If I entered, and won, you have my info on the entry form. Send me a registered letter stating that. I'll take care of the rest. Caller never asked for me by name or tells me what contest I supposedly entered. Marketing ploy is all it is and it's designed to skirt the Do Not Call laws." Scam, scam, scam.

- Katie replies to Chris| 2 repliesI too rec'd this automated call from Christopher and then a John Welsh. I tried returning the call several times but kept getting "their" voicemails.....well I am a very determined woman as I happen to be one of those people that DO fill out the "WIN A CAR" entries on the boardwalk down the jersey shore, in the mall and just about anywhere for 1 main reason.....My best friend from the time I was 4 was one of those winners who won a Jaguar in the Montclair NJ Jaguar Dealership that use to be located on Bloomfield Ave in New Jersey. So I do believe people do win..... well I did finally get through and spoke to a Ms Carolyn and have recieved a confirmation email. i have an appointment to go to "claim" my prize this weekend I will post on here if this was in fact a scam or true to its word!!!!
- Rich RMy mother got the call today (1-7-11). The caller said she could have won a car but did not show up to clam her prise. So he will send her a $50 Visa Card if she calls ex 109.
- Caller: 8663129553
- not MichaelDon't call him. He will find some way to take money from her.
Maybe he'll have her come in person to pick up the card and try to sell her a time share or something else she doesn't need. Or he'll have her pay a tiny shipping charge by credit card and charge several hundred dollars to the card. Or he has her sign up for a shopping club that costs $49/month and takes 4 months or more to cancel. If she pays the shipping charge by check the scammer will have her bank account number and will be able to spend her money.
When someone calls you offering you anything with any value its almost certainly a scam. - Guy replies to Katie| 1 replyI just got the call too, I'm curious to see if scam or not. No one on this site is saying that if it is a scam or not. What is the point of this company calling?
Katie----let me know when you "claim" your prize what the verdict is.
Thanks,
Guy
