Isn't that what I just stated?  We are NOT [paying] MEMBERS of the BBB.

Where is it on the www.longwoodinc.com site?  Or would you run the risk of losing your charitable designation and ability to make for-profit cold calls, against the law?

No way you could ever join the BBB!!

Sammy, right away talk to your bank and cancel the check or call your credit card company and cancel the charge - you can still get it reversed!

Mike, I will gladly make a recommendation to the I.T. department so that you can click on the picture on Longwood's homepage to get to the AMS site... but are you now implying that Longwood and Auto Marketing Systems are NOT associated with one another?  Make up your mind.  And no, we do not run any such "risk" by adding a link to a website.

Paul, it might be time to retire the "Brad" name on the spam calls - can we have an online contest to pick the next fake name?

Sure it is a risk or it would be a link already.

JustCrook, need I say again that we are not in violation of any DNC regulation?  Furthermore, I am here marketing nothing -- I am here to answer questions and dispel rumors and false allegations.  I'm sorry if that bothers you, but I think it's darn good customer service.

How can you claim we "found a way around" the DNC when we've been doing this longer than the DNC legislation and regulations you speak of have even been around?  We have been exempt from this since the beginning of this DNC legislation.
The difference is that the public is much more sensitive about being contacted, which they/you have every right to be if you so choose.  But it's just as simple to pick up the phone and say, "Here's my number, please don't contact me again."  With regards to telemarketing of any type, every company must maintain an internal DNC list.

Joe, thank you.  This is exactly the point I have been backing all along.  There's a lot of talk and paranoia, but NO ONE can claim that we've actually scammed them.

We received a call from this company... from Brad. We returned the call thinking someone was interested in our self contained converted bus. We spoke to a Sheila. She told us how the program works and its guarantee. She stated they already had 24 buyers that would be interested in our motorhome. She stated this without knowing that it ran on propane and there were other issues of importance. the only place we had advertised it was in a local flyer in our state but, they must have their fingers in everywhere. I called the BBB and was warned not to do business with this company as they rated them a "C". If you look at the multitude of sites available, I find only one or two positive responses and all the rest negative. Does anyone know if the positive responses are not also from the same company??? Paul seems to hav a full time job just keeping up with the various websites to "try" and ensure people of their business practices being legit. I for one don't believe a word of what he says and will be filing a complaint with the FTC.
