Mitch... obviously you are NOT one of the intelligent people on here.  You say Longwood isn't legit, but they've been in business since 1972.  Probably older than you.  If it's a scam, how have they been in business for over 35 years?

He's called a lot, I don't know he told me on the first message that his company specializes in selling vehicles like mine. I am trying to sell a 65 Caddi. So I thought I would do some searching and have found no good reviews. I did find a comment from the president or something when I googled longwood.

Simply call the number, when you finally get a hold of someone, just say "I'm going to give you a number.  (Give whatever number they are abusing.)  Please take this off of all of your calling lists, and never call me again."  'Gary' proceeded to do so and hopefully this ends any unwanted calls.

Today I got a call from "Daniel" from Longwood, Inc. Said he had seen my AD in the Newspaper & online and that he could sell my boat. Thanks for all the info - I do not plan to call him back.

Brad has another number now. It is 866-326-9921. Same pitch, he has buyers looking for a car just like the one I advertised on Crig's list. He could acxtually guarantee me a sale. Sorry Buddy, I don't fall for that. If he can guarantee a sale, he should not need any money up front.

Can you recommend some reputable companies?  We got a call from "Daniel," that he has been trying to call us and decided to leave a message, that for a small fee, they guarantee they will sell our car.  We decided to check out "Longwood Inc" before we did anything.  So happy we did.  They are scammers for sure.

Just call them up and give them the run around. Its a fun thing to do with you are your friends, give them fake credit card numbers and names - this is the best way for law enforcement to track them.

I got the exact same message from Daniel today about our truck we had listed on Craig's list.  Funny it was the exact same wording my Husband said maybe something like a auto dialer.  So glad I found all of these message from people like me they are trying to rip off.  Does anyone have any suggestions on the best site to list your vehicle as this is our first time.  Thanks!

And do you think a fake credit card will go through?  How can anyone track that?   If you give them a fake credit card or address, isn't that something law enforcement would want to track?  What if someone came to where you work and did something as a fun thing to you?

Guarantee is an interesting word.  How many times have you seen on tv "satisfaction guaranteed or your money back"?  Nobody can guarantee the car will sell, I think they're guaranteeing that if it doesn't, you'll get your money back.

Been getting these phone calls "Unknown Number" from BRAD saying he can sell my car and what not. Glad that we are in the 21st century and theres this thing called internet. Yea this "Company" is a joke. Im in the military and took this info to our legal system and yea its a joke.

Message came from phone number (866) 326-9921 Said it was Brad. Tired of these deadbeats trying to rip me off. Need to prosecute them.

Okay, so I had an identical "Brad" experience with a guy at Longwood, but the name was Daniel instead.  Has anyone on this site that calls this a scam actually done business with Longwood?  It just seems that everyone is so negative without really looking at the nuts and bolts of their operation.  I'm not putting in a plug for Longwood, or its parent company, AMS, but I just think you should give something a fair shot not based on biased reviews of people who have never actually done business with the company.  I just contaced them myself and they refused to send me any contract backing up their promised "guarantee."  This does not prove it is a scam, but it is definitely something that prevented me from doing business with them.  If they will not back up their word, in writing, then I will not do business with them.

Isn't their guarantee posted on their website?  It also says they will send you a receipt and a refund request.  I think you got some incorrect info there, Dave.  I don't think I'll do business with them, but I wouldn't go so far as to call them a scam.
