I just recieved a call from "Brad" from "Longwood Inc". Since I didnt get to the phone in time and had picked up the phone while he was leaving his message, it cut his message off. I was googling to find his #, so I could call him back. Luckily, I found this. I have a posting for motorcycle on craigslist. If he calls back, I WILL be hanging up on him!

I just got a call from "Brad" at Longwood, Inc 866-326-0950. It sounded so lame that fishy would be a compliment.

I had just put up a listing on craigslist a few days ago for my car.

I had also just put an ad in The Garden Island newspaper on Kauai.

Put my car for sale in newspaper and received several calls from this number and 866-326-0949 - finally "Brad" left a message for us to call back so he could help sell our car for a small fee. Sounded pretty fishy so i googled Longwood Inc. and seen everyones reply so i did not call them. I believe its a scam!

I got the same call from BRad And was going to do buisness with them. . . I guess it's not a good idea could you tell me . . .

Has anyone ever used these people and been ripped off?

I have had several messages from Brad as well...Im wondering if i should update my posting on craigslist and write something like BRAD from LONGWOOD INC...list his # ...STOP CALLING AND HARASSING ME...because at that point maybe someone on craigs list will pick up on it....

Wow! got the Jacob Reed call put two whole seconds into the reserch of who he is and got all the info from this site I need.  Now I don't think there is anything different about this company from ones that buy mass email, mail or phone listings.  Just wait know about a few new companies that are designed to mass text message people about there products.  But thanks 800 notes for taking up less time then a return phone call to our friend Jacob.

Hope you research which car you're going to buy a little more and check out more than one source.

Just got a phone call from "Brad" at Longwood...I do advertise on Craigslist...which for my dealership, is useless..but it is free so aside from my time, its no bother.  

i guess there are people in this world dumb enough to fall for all these scams, otherwise scammers wouldn't waste their time.

Got a call from "Brad" from the same outfit promising to match me up with a buyer for my car. Did not mention what my vehicle is though (Listed on cars.com). My car has only been for sale for 5 days, and this seemed very fishy, so I googled it and got this site. Confirms my suspicions that this company "Longwood Inc." is a potential waste of time and money if not an outright scam.

Thanks for all your postings!  I just received a message from "Brad" WITH A DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBER - 866-326-0949.  I only listed with Craigslist & made the unforunate mistake of putting my phone # on the listing.  Live & learn.  Is anyone contacting FTC or police on this?  Does any agency care about this?  Not that it is the government's business, I am just curious if there is anything I can do to help someone else out.  Again, THANKS everyone for your comments about LONGWOOD, INC.

Just got my call... Guess 'Brad' tried yesterday morning but as a policy I never answer any call where the number does not come up. Left a message this morning. Listened to the message and the first thing that raised my eyebrow was the company name... Longwood. Longwood Inc. even. Now just how can I take a company name like that seriously.

I also recieved a call from brad of longwood inc. and was actually considering this, maybe im a fool, i have to move this car please tell me more about your experience

i got a call from brad at longwood saying he had potential buyers for a car i have listed on craigs list. i did call back and got a woman who emailed me the info, the co is actually called AMS auto marketing systems. I would really appreciate anyone with info on these guys to post thank you so much

I do not believe (Gary) and (Sue) who have posted here about the company. They could easily be the same person. Yes - this company is shady enough to do that!
My problem with this company is not if they would steal my money or not. I would never sell my car through them even if they are 100% legal.
My problem is the shady way they collect numbers and mass call/ repeat call/ call and hang up/ etc.
"Brad" called at 4AM and left a message with the number 866-326-0949.
He said he had been trying to reach me (which is false).
Well, if I want someone else to sell my car for me - I'LL call THEM, not the other way around. I can expect a repeat call soon, but if I pick up to tell them not to call, they will disconnect. How annoying is that. THAT IS TELEMARKETING - I dont care what anyone else calls it. A decent compamy would NOT do that.
Perhaps Longwood is legit - perhaps not. But there is something to be said about a company that repeatedly calls people who dont want to be called, and abuses their right to privacy!

If you ask me - DONT DO BUISNESS WITH THEM. They should not benefit from treating people this way.

I got a call (at 4 am!) from "Brad" who left a mesage saying he had been trying to reach me (which is false). He left the #866-326-0949. I'm sure I will recieve more annoying calls from them, but if I pick up to tell them not to call me - they'll hang up. How annoying! They DO NOT respect our right to privacy. I didn't put my number on craigslist for spammers to call.

I also just listed an item on CL, and included my cell#. I have received several calls from this purported "Brad" w longwood inc. He wants to sell my vehicle for me. I'm not selling a vehicle. Clearly "Brads" MO is to mine CL posting's for folks cell phone #'s and pop them into his auto dialer and go fishing! Don't bite people.

wow they called me too and i new it couldnt be real.
im selling my car and they said tons of ppl wanna buy it.. i didnt buy it for shittt. and the guys name is jacob. what lowlife ppl.. [***] lame.
