Called the number back and live person answered after a short wait.  California Check Cashing is the company that owns the line.  Somebody I know used me as a reference and contact person for doing business with them.  The number is a legit business.

Yes, you are right.... I wouldn't ever phone them back especially not owing any money.  Once they connect with you, they continue to phone which can turn into harassing calls.  REPORT them through the proper channels and block them.....

Constant harassment & will not stop calling.

Checksmart. Told them to stop my job. They dont want to make a payment arrangment. Well then they will b included in my bankruptcy filing

This number calls me and hangs up daily and today it called my number hung up on me and then called my daughters number not more then three minutes later and hung up and called right back. My daughters number and mine are not on the same plan nor do we have the same last name so there is no way they could have got our number from our account.   No one ever says anything they just wait until you say hello two or three times then hangs up

I don't  owe  checksmart and I am getting calls.  I called  the number they just idenfited them self as the corporate office.  The cdrporate of what?  They should identify them selfs as what corporate office if they legimate.
