I had a guy bill harrassing me for awhile now a alan guy.they brought bme down to 111.84 and called everyday.told them there a scam and they told me there not next time they call i will use above line about calling rcmp and hope for same results

FYI - i'm thinking Canadian Media Pages can figure out who is posting here by the invoice amounts. They all seem to be different. Don't post the exact amount that you were invoiced.

"Canadian Media Pages" and "411 Web Connect" are both crooked companies. Don't pay them a dime.

if you receive a call from 18663583003 report it to the canadian government fraud prevention @ toll free 18884958501. Deffinately don't pay them or give them any financial info. They are gonna get caught by the RCMP and they will be f***ked!

They keep calling the company I work for but can't provide me with any proof of who authorized this. Canadian Media Pages.

They say that to intimidate people into paying. Tell them you don't care, there's nothing in paper. The best way to get these scam artists to stop pressuring you into paying is to ask for their civic address - not their PO box - and tell them you want it because you're going to send the RCMP and your lawyer.

Pretty much the same story here. Guy calls saying he just wants to confirm our address.  Once it's confirmed he hits me with the 'that will be $299.00' story, I say 'not a chance', he hangs up on me.  A while later we get a CD with a $366.40 bill, and phone calls demanding payment.

We certainly won't be paying but have learned a lesson.  Not sure how to escape them though since they just send you a bill and harass you.  I imagine they might get a small percentage to pay - hopefully not but it must be true.  We're had a similar one with cash register rolls.  An unexpected case shows up with a bill.  They won't take returns and then demand payment.

What ever you do, dont pay them 1 cent or any percentage. They are scum, call the numbers in previous posts and file a complaint.

I received the same call as everybody else, and an Invoice of $569.00 I called Phone Booster 1888-495 8501 , they told me that this is completly  a scam , they sugest me to send the cd back and  fax of cancellation , I did as I was told and Canadian media pages faxed me back stating that my letter does not cancel the Invoice, I keep receiving letter almost every month from them, and phone calls that I don't answer . This is brutal, I can't believe than no body can stop them from scaming people !!!

Great to have the internet. We have  Construction company and Canadian Media pages have harrased us for years. We have paied them in the past but now we became suspisious. One of our partners got pressured into getting this silly CD which arrive via purolator. Now I am trying to get out of this SCAM. I called them and transferred Johnathon over to the Owner of our business they exchanged harsh words. Media pages told the owner that everything is being recorded. Whatever!!!!!! They then called back the person from our company and told him that they will reduce the invoice from $500.00 to $280.00 well Guess what they are a scam. I just send off a letter to Better Business Beuro. Stop harrasing small business people that are trying to make a living. Get a real job Canadian Media Pages!!!!!!!! SCAM. Dont get pressued into this. DONT PAY...

I was getting calls from Canadian Media Pages on my call display and one day I picked up and was told if I wanted to renew my business subscription and for my credit card number to pay for the present invoice. I could not recall agreeing to any advertising and I wasn't sure what he was talking about but thought it was for the yellow pages so I asked to have the invoice mailed to my office since I wasn't going to give my credit card number over the phone to them. They had my mane & business on the invoice so I thought it was for the Yellow pages and paid the $513.30 invoice.  STUPID, STUPID STUPID.  Until I found this site and realized I 'd  been scamed, I still thought they were the Yellow pages. They still call every morning at about 9 - 10 AM  but I just lift the receiver and hang it back up on them.  First time I've been scamed by a telemarketer. Anyone out there know how to get rid of these vermin other than me using some nasty words over the phone next time they call ?

I happened to say yes during the first call, asuming I was go to receive info. and now the harrassing calls and emails won't stop.. He says I'am going to collections. It is great knowing that I am not the only victum.
