- FrankLast year an unknown company contacted me and made me believe they are assocaited with yellow pages and they want me to renew my subscription. They processed me through some automation process to say Yes on some recording and then they sent me a stupid cd which i dont know what it is for. Then they started to bill me $414.51 for this cd. I called up yellow pages and they said they were not part of Canadian Media Pages and they told me to contact RCMP and report the fraud. I contact Canadian Anti-Fraud Center and I reported the crime. The number they keep calling from is 866-358-3003 someone named Gordan keeps calling and threatening me. This company should be banned and owner should be procesecuted and put behind bars for scamming small business owners.

- SCAMMED replies to HJKNO, THANK YOU CANADIAN MEDIA PAGES. THAT PREVIOUS POST (POSTED BY "HJK" FEB 26TH) JUST PROVED TO EVERYONE READING THIS THREAD THAT YOU ARE DEFINITELY, WITHOUT A DOUBT, A SCAM COMPANY.....THX FOR THE POST! XO
- Con replies to almost connedThe "Collection Company" is obviously just another employee at Canadian Mediapages trying to scam the money from your company.
No signed contract = No need to pay.
A recording of you saying "Yes" to something will never make it to court. They're just trying to scare you into paying. - SCAMMED| 1 replyREAD THIS THREAD FOR A SCAM RELATING TO :

- sickofthecallsAnyone heard of GoContractors? When I punched their number in this string of comments popped up. I also searched their GST & PST numbers and lo and behold - Canadian Media Pages is the registered owner. These people are disgusting. They keep calling and sending letters demanding payment for the listing on www.gocontractors.ca. The number they called from was 877-442-1120. When I googled their address 2445 Chemain Lucerne, suite 32519 Montreal, QC it was for a Pharmaprix store .

- Dataclick.ca hater| 2 repliesYep dataclick.ca tried to scam me for something like $576.00 or so.They first contacted me and asked if id be interested in some advertising,I said ok ,so then they sent a jump drive to me via purolator(by the way the jump drive required administrative privliages on my computer to work....so um nope never).
So the next day I phoned them and said I didnt want their service. They said that the phone call was recorded and I said that I wanted it.BS i said ,i said I would have a look at it only. Anyway they kept refering to "the invoice" "the Invoice".So I asked to speak to this worker's boss , her name is Andrea, she said I will listen to the recorded conversation you had in the beginning , and I will phone you back...I said ok. Well a week or so had passed ...no call , so I call there and leave a message , and of course left the magic invoice # , you guessed it no return call ever from Andrea.
Not that Andrea thing, but they still call me through some cci or cii thing , I just tell them I am recording the call and click , they hang up...............THEY WILL NEVER GET 1 CENT OUT OF MY COMPANY- Caller: dataclick.ca
- HANSA-FLEX HYDRAULICS CANADA INC.| 1 replyDataclick also tried to bilk us by using their famous line "we have you in our database and you need to renew your subscription." We don't know how they got us in their database (just copied info from internet my guess).
The company's numbers are PHONE: 888941-3282 and FAX: 866-561-8833.
They've sent us the invoice a few times now with reminders to pay and also faxed us a letter which we sent back saying that we have passed this on to our legal department.- Caller: Dataclick.ca (Andrea)

- Michael replies to HANSA-FLEX HYDRAULICS CANADA INC.Yep same here about data click, interestlingly when you do an IP search for their company it brings up links back to canadian business pages they must have forgotten to remove!
My wife agreed to their servce thinking it was an ongoing agreement, when I found out I blocked it, they now call daily, I think I have a phone relationship on the go now with Gloria :)
I am looking forward to suing them cant wait, I will start proceedings the minute they bother to write to me. Fyi - I have also contacted all relevant reporting agencies also.
My days are now spent finding ways to bombard them back, all legal of course ;)
I recently got Globex off our backs also!! Fight the good fight,! dont pay if you note not one person on here has been sued by these people for non payment, the only issue is the constant phone calls, I am thinking of learning different dialects just to wind them up further. - Small business owner| 1 replyTotal scam. Tried to get me to pay for advertising I didn't even do with them. Very aggressive "collections" person I dealt with who ALMOST intimidated me enough to believe that I actually signed up for this. I just recieved a letter in the mail saying they are going to report my past due account and it will appear on my credit report for 7 years. I've already contacted the Canadian Anti-Fraud company and reported this supposed company called Canadian Media Pages. Their request for payment letter doesn't even have a letterhead and no where indicates what company they are or where I'm to send my money to! They simply ask for my credit card #! Do not be intimidated and do not pay these people!!!
- thewormthatturned replies to Small business ownerI got them 3 companies our backs this week, I sent a very detailed letter by email and also reported them to the canadian fraud office 3 times (just to be sure) If I publish it here an they see it will have little effect for others. All I will say there is a link here on one of the first few pages to a good letter, I edited this to suit our case and it worked.
Important - Become the chaser! hound them by email constantly giving detailed info on who you have reported them to, they will cave! 3 companies have thus far done so under high pressure from us getting them to drop their fictious demands.
The women said she would call and send emails for the next 7 years until we paid (sounds like same women you have dealt with) at which point I pointed out that clearly they have no legal way of pursuing this.
DO NOT PAY THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN ACCEPT MAKE FAKE THREATS, NOT ONE PERSON ON HERE HAS RECEIVED A BAD CREDIT SCORE FROM THESE PEOPLE I GUARRANTEE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Within 1 hour I got a reply stating my account was zero and asked me to close all complaints, which I will not.
The chased has now become the chaser! see below!
