- ldI just received a call from Mr Ferrentino at Cambridge, at work, he went through our Customer Service line and told her, he was calling in regards to a Suit he is filing with Tarrant County, and my mailbox was full, he could not leave me a message. I called him back, and advised him I previously asked that they stop calling my job and requested any contact to be made via mail, in writing, he stated that he had none of that information in my file; he was sending it to Tarrant County on Monday. I also asked him why he gave my information, in regards to this to a third party; he stated that she was lying. I said I guess she must be psychic, because how would she know why you are calling. He said well let me hear it pull out the recording. Then he went on to tell me to pay him today, I said like before send it in writing. He went on again to say again I am lying, I said well the last time I called they said they were recording me so now you pull out the recording. He said well your not going to pay because your poor, and hung up. I called him back and He hung up again.

Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky! They have the wrong number but sneaky, sneaky, sneaky! Wolves in sheep clothing. Beware and tell them to remove your number from their database! - Sidneymb@rdmky.comI do want to start out by saying that I don't work for the people at 1-866-376-4180! A friend called me telling me that a women called and said that I could be in some major trouble and that I needed to return that phone call asap its very important. That is when I googled the number and name of company and got this site. I had pulled a loan out while I was in the hospital a while back, and have been having health issues since. I explained that to the lady on the other end whom was very nice, and that she had been in debt collections for years and those tactic she doesn't use as the listings above had described. I know that I do have a debt and I can't pay it due to life's little twists and turns as we all know. I explained that as well and she was very sympathetic and understood. So I have her name number and ext if anyone would like to deal with a good employee of this company and make good on a loan (mine was cashnet USA) i would gladly give you the number and ext. No I'm not telling all of you to pay back your loans or whatever debt they are trying to collect. But for those of you that did pull the loan and want to pay for the service that was offered to you and granted, then I would happily give you her number and ext. She did also say that it would be cheaper to do money gram and I could call with a check or bank account but didn't think that would be a good idea because it could cause NSF charges if my money wasn't in the bank. That way I could pay on my terms. She also gave me my balance and told me payment options. No threats. Now if what she told me is how its going to work and them not harass me then I am going to try and make due and send in alittle if i can. Now I guess we will see how they treat me. I'll keep you all posted. email: Sidneymb@rdmky.com

- mismatchedI received a call from Mrs. Jackson with Cambridge, Huxley & Assoc. She stated that she was collecting for CashNet, I do have an old debt with them but are using Langhorne Debt company to clear them up. She stated that I needed to make a payment today and I told her I would be able to in 2 wks but she told me that they were taking me to court and that a petition is being filed against me today on behalf of Melody Moore and Cashnet. They are going to garnish my wages and arrest me. She was very rude when I told her that I would not be able to pay till the 12th of October. I am not trying to shirk my debt but just trying to live and pay them off.

They are scammers. - stop callingwhat is cashnet? I've gotten these calls too and I have never had a debt with cashnet
- Lee Crawley replies to anonymousHow funny "Anonymous" that you are so defensive about the debt collectors. Could it be that you ARE one? Why else would you be on this site? Do you find joy in popping into these discussions to insult the people that are here? Have you ever considered CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND ONE'S CONTROL? Sometimes bad things happen to good people that prevent them from paying their debt on time. So come down off of your pedestal Mr. Wholier than Thou Anonymous and join the rest of the world. With the way the economy is going, you too will soon be without a job and be on the receiving end of those harassing phone calls.

A woman by the name of Anesha called my sister and said that I owed cash net money and that they would garnish my social security number and a woman by the name of Melody Moore was to do the garnishment. I was warned that this pay day loan would be presented in court as a bad check and that it would be considered a felony. I contacted a lawyer here in North Carolina and was told otherwise. So now I am going to contact the Attorney general office in New York and file a complaint. These people did not try to work out a payment plan what so ever! I will record every phone call and name of each individual person from Cambridge and Huxley whatever they are!- Caller: Cambridge and Huxley

- budhibbsexposed replies to LAMET| 1 replyUnfortunately Bud Hibbs HAS been sued and HAS given ridiculous advice that has caused people to get sued over their debts. Most agencies will immediately sue a debtor as soon as they even mention Budd Hibbs' name. He claims to protect consumers and has engaged in a witch hunt for debt collectors and refuses to understand that the 95% of people that actually pay their bills are incurring all the expenses for the deadbeats that dont pay. How does that make everyone feel? Are you still willing to protect these debtors from the mean and terrible bill collectors if you will in turn have to bear their expense?? interesting question isnt it?
- jw replies to anonymous| 2 repliesIf they are legit then why don't they have a listing or web site or someway to identify them? No they are not legit. This is a scam and I have retained the services of PI to find them and shut them down and lock them up. Too bad if you work for them. If so you are going down with them.
- ANNOYED88Ive made 2 pymts to this company should I be worried they will not pay it towards the debt owed? I am financially unable to make these pymts but they are still harrassing.

- MichelleI just received an email from the President of my employeer. Apparently, they just called her asking for me. By the way, they have also called my direct boss and my ex-finacee'. I have paid my loan off plus $300 more in interest. I am currently moving in with my mother because I cannot afford my rent or car payments. I have three small children at home and am a single mother. Also.. to note, I have recorded all phone calls i which case Mr.Blando agreed that the contracts for these loans are completely unfair to the customer and they should not allow them. In no way is the consumer protected or have any rights. I do know that making four messages a day plus calling co-workers and employers is a form of harrassment and in PA is one of five states that you cannot garnish wages. At this point, I would rather go to court over this then deal with people that are inhumane in the way they conduct business. I am assuming they have always paid their bills on time and never had a hard time financially. Hey, they are judging me, why can I not judge them. They actually wanted me to convince my mother who is dying of Liver cancer and is on disability to borrow money. What money? Can't borrow money from someone who has none. I will have to contact the District Attorney's office here in PA to see what my rights are. Good luck to all in my position. They claimed to be lawyers, I just found out they were not. Is that even legal?

Rodney Anthony Giove, of Niagara Falls, NY started out associated with a Niagara Falls, NY law firm. He either could not cut it, was fired or likely too inept to practice law. He now can be seen driving his new Range Rover around Niagara Falls LOADED with cash, he makes from his new career renting his law license out as a debt collector.
His new partners; Douglas J. Mackinnon, Mark Bohn and company make up the nucleus of the WORST debt collection organization in America.
It should be made perfectly clear that Rodney is incapable and has NEVER litigated a collection account under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the federal law that regulates debt collectors. They cannot, they have NO training, and rented law license are NEVER used in a courtroom.
Consumers are warned to stay FAR away from anyone representing to collect a debt for any of these illegal operations. They will NEVER file any lawsuits; there are NO court orders, judgments, wage garnishments, or any other legal proceedings going on, except the ones in their drug induced heads. These sick people should be avoided. They are also desperate to make money, while they still have their freedom.
