Disputed debt that is 13 years old, no longer on my credit report and these clowns are calling and making threats?
Who are they trying to kid?  These are the sort of bottom-feeding scum that would loot the dead for gold fillings and steal their shoes.  Seriously, they are the parasites that feed off the scum that resides in the inner ring of Satan's rectum.

They keep caling my Google Voice Mail number, (which I do not use and didn't even remember the number) for a person that I have no idea who it is.

They call for the same person over and over, even since they have been told to stop calling.

The number they leave is 866-679-9649.

Next stop is the AG office to file a complaint.

Have recieved a number of calls from this number, text message i got that comes with number it shows that if u listen 2 the vm, there's nothing there. I get these calls at 800a and sometimes 9p....i'm fed up with these calls.!!!

They call over and over wrong person or sometimes right person but point is I have no phone so how they get my fathers phone number and calling but put you on hold or ask for you or someone else . Collection dont matter who they are point is phone they calling is not mine I have no phone so how are they getting private numbers that belong to other people be it family or random they need to put a stop to collection or any one calling numbers taken a chance they reach right person or wrong its crazy every day all day along isnt this arrasment?

Too many phone calls come from these numbers. They figure i've already made note of one number 2 contact BBB with, but there's several move...i have at least 4 numbers on my phone, all go to VM. I get a test from the number 1st so i can ck it out. Then i listen to the the vm, n it turns out the dead call turns out to tb that caller again!!!

Again, all my medical bills are being paid off by Medicare n Medicaid!!! They don't care what time they call, morning, nights, n inbetween...figure you'll get the message with them using whatever number they call with. I'm so tired of that number, all numbers!! N i know which numbers to avoid.! Everytime i get a collector call, i tell them that my bills are being paid for by Medicare and Medicare. They leave me alon.

I knew some [***] would start screaming about people paying their bills. In an ideal world everyone would be paying their bills and on time. But in the "Real World" [***] happens and debt collectors can not harrass or threaten or intimidate people into paying. Even businesses fall on hard times sometimes.

Just because someone is behind on a bill does not give a business the right to harrass them and per the law if that happens that individual can SUE the business.

And truthfully, Even the Credit Bureaus acknowledge that paying a super old bill can do MORE HARM to a person than GOOD because it re-ages the debt and starts the clock ALL OVER. That means if that debt is about to come off the report it won't. It will remain for yet another 7 years from the minute you pay.

So [***] just hope and pray nothing happens to YOU and that you will forever be able to be on time with everything. For all I know you are Bankrupt.

Collection agencies are not allowed to HARRASS people. Google it. You will see MANY people have successfully SUED collection agencies for harrassment. They HAVE TO FOLLOW THE RULES TOO IDIOT. Just because someone is behind on their bills doesn't give anyone the right to harrass them.

People like you seem to think that if someone falls behind on their bills thats a greenlight to a collector to harrass them. That's a LIE. I bet you are in favor of debtors prisons too. Those were OUTLAWED. FOR A REASON.

Just because someone doesn't pay does not give ANYONE the right to harrass that person or make their life a living hell.

Got a call from this number.  Answered the phone.  Said Hello, waited.. said Hello again.

Some guy with an indian accent gave me some info. said I owed the Cleveland Clinic 19.87. I said Ok,, but I don't remember ever receiving a bill but hey, I'm not perfect.  So I asked for more information.  He said he has it right in front of him..  I said Great,, here's my fax number, please fax it to me so we both have it in front of us.

He said he can't fax it.  I thought,,  ok, guy calls out of the blue says I owe 19.87 won't provide any documentation so that I can at least look at it but demands payment.,

I asked if he could send it to me.  He said we already did. I asked when, he said he wasn't sure.  I said I haven't received it.  He said I should have.  I said How do you know I should have if you don't know when it was sent.  He said he knew.  

Well, by this time, I was tired of this merry go round.  I told him here's my fax number, here's my address. Either fax it or mail it. If you won't do that, then don't call me again.

I mean, we're talking $20 bucks here. I'm almost ready to pay it just to get rid of him, but damn it sure sounded odd so I decided to hang up.

End of story so far.

I have been getting more and more calls from this group.  At first they were looking for someone who's name was sort of similar, but lately it's not even close.  I've been threatened with "Petitions" in my county of "XXXXX"  (I actually live in "YYYY").  The funny thing is that neither places I've lived in the last 20 years has "Petitions" you either sue or you don't.

I'm not sure who this person is that they keep calling about, however since this firm specializes in written off debts, I'm almost glad for her that she no longer can be legitimately sued over it.  

I'm grateful for this site as well as google voice, now I know to send them to the "no longer in service" void!

They claim to represent a hospital and are seeking money due.  I have never been to this hospital and  I can therefore only assume it is a scam.  They tried to verify personal information and became rather nasty when I refused to cooperate.   Blocked the number immediately.

They called me and then put me on hold? I don't understand.

Is this real ?

DON'T give them money! They will only attempt to collect more!

I received a call from this number earlier today. I didn't answer it because I didn't recognize it and let it go to voicemail. I just checked my voicemail and the entire message (which was the full 2 minutes allowable on my carrier) was some guy arguing with 2 or 3 women about someone cheating on someone else. I could hear a tv on in the background and everything. I was buttdialed by a shady collection company and treated to a gossipy conversation between friends. This "company" needs to get their crap together.

I received a confirmed scam letter in the mail allegedly from "American Airways" - there is no such thing - that contains this phone number, 866-679-6925. It claims I was "awarded" two roundtrip airline tickets. Its scammers seeking to take advantage of the recent airline merger. It came with a Phoenix, Az. postmark and no return address. Again, a confirmed scam.

Recorded message says "Hold on for inportant message". After several minutes another recording says "This call has ended"

Well, I just don't get it, I am 100% up to date on every bill I owe.. No medical bills outstanding, no car loans, they are all paid off, no credit card debt, nothing but rent and utilities, cable, phone.. that's it. and it's all up to date.

So I have no idea why they'd be calling me.  They never leave a message, they just seem to call during the day when I'm at work.  

I honestly don't know what the heck they want.
