illegal robo call to a business phone asking for someone I have never hear of. Called them back and told them they are calling a business and I am unable to give out any information. this is not the first call we have gotten from these people.

Please put me on your do not call list there is no natasha  Garcia at this number 303-364-7363 . if you keep harassing me and my family I will file harassment charges against your company!

I have gotten a couple calls with messages to sound ominous but its all for someone I've never heard of before and both of the times I just call the number and tell them I have never heard of the person who they are asking for and they have never lived here. and they say they will take the number off their list.

This number has been harassing our long-standing landline. It shows unavailable on caller ID, but the # 8666799649 was left on a voicemail. They claim to be debt collecters, asking for Richard Collara?Herrera? And insisting we know him. We do not. We asked nicely to stop calling buy they are relentless. Please help.

You'll probably have to go to your local police or attorney general on this one.  Also you might consider getting some sort of call-blocker.   There are some pretty good ones on the market.

Called and left message twice.  Don't have correct person or number.   Wasting there time.   I Won't call them back - No way to stop them from calling.   Maybe someday they will get tired of calling.   Their message said they could only talk to that person so no need to call them back.  Caller ID shows 866 679 9649  Toll Free Call and message said they are Debt collector -

I just don't answer and let number go to voicemail.   It wouldn't do any good to speak with them or answer their calls.

Demand a legitimate, physical mailing address in which to send a debt validation letter. It (among other things), must state:

(1) the amount of the debt;

(2) the name of the creditor to whom the debt is owed;

(3) a statement that unless the consumer, within thirty days after receipt of the notice, disputes the validity of the debt, or any portion thereof, the debt will be assumed to be valid by the debt collector;

(4) a statement that if the consumer notifies the debt collector in writing within the thirty-day period that the debt, or any portion thereof, is disputed, the debt collector will obtain verification of the debt or a copy of a judgment against the consumer and a copy of such verification or judgment will be mailed to the consumer by the debt collector; and

(5) a statement that, upon the consumer's written request within the thirty-day period, the debt collector will provide the consumer with the name and address of the original creditor, if different from the current creditor.

So many of these posts give the name & address of this scum bag debt collector.  Send them a cease & desist letter demanding validation of the debt.  

If they are calling continuously and you are not who they are looking for and you've told them to stop and they still continue to call, buy a stamp & send them a cease & desist letter also.

Use this in your letter: In pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 (b) that your claim is disputed and VALIDATION is requested.

DEMAND that they send you competent validation & demand that they cease & desist all phones calls to your home, business & to include computer generated calls. Yes do this even if they are looking for someone who does not live in your household. Make certain that you state in your letter that they is no one by that name at your residence or phone number and you will sue them if you find anything with your name, phone number or address connected with this debt that they continue to erroneously call about.

You don't have to put up with this crap, but you have to do a little work to get rid of them.  Just telling them on the phone will not stop them.  Even if you are not the person that they are looking for.

The reason I am on here in the first place is because I just received a call again today from this number: 8666799649 & I wanted to find out who was calling.  Yesterday they called our office and my coworker answered.  Today I just picked up & didn't say anything.  That prompted a response, often times if you answer right away they just hang up.  The guy asked for someone who was a contract worker here about 5 years ago.  I informed him that we had no one by that name here in this institution.  He apologized & I hung up.  I bet they will still call back.

Remember, yes you do owe your debts, but you owe the original creditor with whom you signed an agreement to pay.  You did not agree to pay these scum bag debt collectors who bought your name as owing a debt.  They don't have the signed agreement, they don't have an accounting of all of your payment history.  You don't owe them a cent.  

I worked really hard and sent all of the letters in response to these sum bags as I had some old outstanding debts.  When I tried to arrange to repay, they had no record of my account because they had written it off to Profit & Loss.

They have now all fallen off of my credit reports and I am rebuilding my credit. It took a long time and I had to address each and every one of them.  Sometimes they came back at me with the same debt but had added more onto the balance and just using a different company name & phone number but the same address.

Good Luck & don't give up.  Just shut them down with the power of you mighty pen (err I mean computer).

Ok FOOL,  People who owe debts owe the ORIGINAL creditor.  Just because you Mr Junk Debt Buyer bought up a debt that was charged off, does NOT mean that you are legally owed ANYTHING!!!!!  

As a debt buyer and collector you MUST provide legitiment, competent proof, such as the original contract with the signature and payment history and that the statue of limitations has not expired, and if you cannot (and we all know that you cannot do that)  then you don't get squat!  Have you ever heard of such a thing as a contract?  If the debt collector does not have the original contract with the debt collector specifically named on the contract then the debt collection company does not legally have a leg to stand on.

Things happen to people, divorce, illness, death, job loss, real reasons that people get behind and then default.  They should not have to put up with debt collection creeps calling them to harass and intimidate them and scamming them when they don't owe the debt collector ANYTHING!!!!  They owe the ORIGINAL CREDITOR NOT A DEBT COLLECTOR!

30 different calls in a week from restricted to unavailable to different numbers!!! Idiots get blocked by my call blocker every time blocks these idiots!! I mean this is pathetic!!! They are relentless and just call for the hell of it!! I hate them people!! And someone has to do something about this!! I hope someone kicks your ass!!! And find each one of  you making these phone calls harassing people for almost 3 years now I have been dealing with this!! Reporting to the FCC and all and they just get different numbers!! One lady left a voice mail saying she is coming to my house LOL!!!  I was like I should have answered the phone and told her that would be the last house you visit in your life !!! Because you would not leave that house!!! Idiots!!!

Send them a letter certified/return receipt telling them you do not recognize this debt and any further communication should be by mail and not by phone.  Keep the receipt when it comes--then if they call again-document it and contact your AG or the FDP and turn them in--

called us 6/23/14 @ 10am. I made some notations BEFORE my husband erased the message in error.  Message:
(blurred at first)  are you or your spouse Alberdine Quartermane?  Do you know this person or anyone who might know them? If so call us with info.
(they mentioned a debt & "the law."
Odd thing is I recognized the name, alberdine-quartermane, from scam calls several yrs ago...not a very productive co. if they haven't found him/her yet!

I'm reporting to Fl state do not call website.  They are very good & I've had positive results with them in the past.
We are almost 80 yrs old & consider this senior harassment.

This company is most like a scam under the guise of a legit collections agency.  Unfortunately for them, I know the laws and I know about the statute of limitations that most states have.  We received a phone call from the jerks who asked to speak to my brother and only my brother.  My brother is handicapped and is not able to converse over the phone so that point would be mute.  But more importantly, he does not owe anything.  He has no debts.  So these screwballs are doing just that, trying to screw innocent victims out of their hard-earned money.  What a waste of time.

I have a cell-phone and I do not answer unknown numbers.  Someone called yesterday at 2:01 PM and did not leave a message.  My phone number is registered on the national Do Not Call List and I reported this call to them.  Based on this website they are trying scam people like us!

Hey they called AGAIN today 8/10/2014 at 4:14 PM and left no message.
