Called asking for another person who happens to be someone I know - I told them that they had the wrong phone number . They then asked if I knew the person that they were calling about..  Just wondering how they connected MY phone number to this other person unless somehow thay are tracing calls made by the other person.. When I called the 800 447 8128 , they said that my number didn't show up anywhere & that they had not called..... Strange but the person who answered the phone sounded exactly like the person who called me..

    want you to believe
These people try to leave the impression they are connected with the IRS, but they are not. With all the names in the world they could have picked they used Medical Revnue Service. Their call people try to gobbbble the word Medical to make it sound like internal. I hope the IRS comes down on these creps and comes down hard. I am drafting a complaint to the IRS tonight, impersonating a federal agent is a big No No.

Ten year old medical bills?  After a certain length of time, these bills are not collectable.  The creditor has probably already written them off and the collection agency has bought the old debt for next to nothing.  Check with the laws in your state to be certain of the number of years it is collectible.  ("Debt Cures" is an excellent book to read about things like this.  I'd recommend getting it from your local library)

Oprah, Is this you?  THeee Oprah? because I can't picture this number calling you for you to be looking it up on here.  Unless you are wanting to bless someone that can't pay their bills.  I have tons of 800,877, and so on calling me for everything from selling something, wanting donations, to debt collectors.  I don't by anything, I stopped donating to those on the phone - do it in other ways; and Yes I have medical debts, some very old, but they call regularly still today.  Oprah, Have a great day. PS, I am registared on the National Do Not Call List.  If I had the money to pay I would. R

I’ve been ignoring calls from them for months, because I know my very homeless and very indigent druggie family member gives them my phone number when they go into the hospital.  Thought I would pick up the line today and wish them good luck collecting the bill, and tell them to stop calling my cell phone.  The lady sounded displeased, which made me very happy.  I’m starting to keep track of their calls and my responses, just in case my lawyer says I and sue them and make a little money if they don’t quit calling.

    aggravated
They keep calling my prepaid cell, asking for someone I've never heard of. I don't know how many times I've told them that I am not this person, do not know this person, and that he is no longer connected to this number. They are (mostly) polite, promise to take my name off--and then a few months later, the whole circus starts all over again. It is aggravating!

I answered this call, She ask for my husband, by name. Said that he knows me. Offerd to take a message but she declined. She mentioned his place of work and I told her I answer that phone and if she wanted to get in touch with him she would have to leave a message. I got two more calls from this number and no message was left.

I got the zoo thing too. Apparently, someone has used my nice and easy cell phone number for their bad credit. They never take you off their lists. I've made complaints to the FCC Do Not Call Registry and these folks are not members of the Better Business Bureau. Wonder why? Please, any advice. They hang up on you when you try to complain.

These people call at all hours asking for a person I've never heard of.  I've tried telling them I've had this phone number for 12 years and do not know this person.  I asked them to take my number off their list and they told me they don't have a list and this is the number HE gave them and then they hang up.

Obviously  "LESSONS IN BEING RUDE ON THE PHONE"  is a requirement to work there.  Do you think if I get an air horn and blow it in the receiver next time they call they'll get MY message???

    Very Harassing and Rude
They should be put out of business.  They called me today, and I called back to let them know that I have been unemployed for 20 months now.  I should have just ignored the call, and the aggravation.  They were so rude.  They definitely do not have any customer service skills.  It is obvious they are a poorly run organization.  When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told she was unavailable.  When I asked for her name, the person became quite irate.  She rudely and loudly told me how she was trying to help me.  An organization that uses their tactics should not be in business.  When they open their mouths, it is as if they are looking for a fight.  I guess they have no idea that "You catch more flies with honey than vinegar."  If they knew how to talk with people, people might try and make arrangements with them.  Instead of saying, “I am sorry for your predicament.  What can you comfortably pay until you find a job?”  No they are not that smart.  They think harassing you and bullying you will get you to make a payment.  How ridiculous.  Who owns that company?
