collections call

Every day for the past 3 weeks I have received a call from this 800 number AND 800-955-6600. Looks like they rotate calls (1-2 from each number). First call of the day starts around noon, then a rotation through late night hours. I only notice when I see my Missed Calls list clogged with the same two numbers. Good thing I never answer!

Called us and said who are we - We told them they had a wrong number that, and that that person we don't know. This person was "VERY NASTY".
He said he had our phone number now and would keep calling- we also called him back and asked for a supervisor but he hung up on us. We called back this morning to get the supervisor and they hung up again after we told them we don't have a account with them and never had one . we are going to report this to the police.Yes we have a new phone -had it only 3 months so I guess this number was someone elses before us -LOL.I don not want there "Hassle and Nastiness".

This number calls my phone 7 days a week anywhere from 8:00 am to 09:30pm. I have never had an account with them, nor do I owe them money. I am so irritated I am going to change my phone ##.

Great idea!  I speak a tiny bit of Japanese.  I'll use that on them!  Thanks for the tip!

866-929-5307.  This number called on Saturday 1-2-09 at 8:03 am and 4:22 pm and several times before on various days.  I don't have call blocking on my phone but I have caller ID and programmable phones.  I just programmed this number into memory with NO RING after they called at 8 am in the morning.  I am keeping a log and when they call 20 times, I am going to take further action.

Annoying! Please anybody knows where to file or report this number...This is terribly insane people...They don't even introduce their selves / or what company they belong....As far as I know I don't have a credit card or any dealings with no credit card company...Somebody should stop this!

I keep on getting calls from these parasites.  I tell them that I do not have nor have I ever had a Capital One credit card.  Today, they called me at 8:30 a.m. and woke me up.  I finally said who the *uck are you trying to reach and they said Robert Copic.  I told them that they had the wrong number and not to call me again.  I have also gotten calls from Capital One about Dee Copic and Grant Copic.  Hopefully Capital One will get the clue and stop calling me.  As for the "Copics" we need to bring back work farms for deadbeats like you.

What is wrong with you? You admit to having 2 accounts with them and you don't answer the phone even though both are in arrears?  You are nothing but a scumbag thief that thinks nothing of stealing from hardworking people.  Yes, you are stealing from me bacause everytime some idiot like you gets a credit card and runs up charges that they can't pay, the credit card companies have do redefine terms and rates for the rest of us.  You should be ashamed of yourself.

Another Cap ONe story...I made the mistake of adding a cap one card a number of years ago.  Believe me, they call me constantly  -- and with no relationship to my payments at all...They call early Sunday morning, call me on my cell phone (why else would I be sitting here typing if it was not so infuriating)? It is harassment...and they seemed to have broadened, indeed, the calling strategy to more and various numbers. I am not a violent person, but the calls really make me want to throw my phone!!

One person offered up the "Conspiracy Theory" that may actually be an insight...that the phone services call to run up our phone charges on cell phones.  I hate to think that Verizon would be in on this, but when I moved from NJ back to California...it took over a year to get Verizon to take my name off of my landline phone account -- I finally had to stop paying the bill to get them to notice...How horrific is THAT?

They called me at 10:30 AM today...if this is capital one they are "barkin up the wrong tree"! I don't own a capital one card.....I've had the same # for 10 years so someone needs to tell them to do their homework! I suspect that it is a scam...BEWARE

Calling my wife's cellphone. Never leaves a message. And it wasn't even "Linda" with some opportunities that may be available for Capital One customers.

keep calling all times of day. i got no capitol one stuff. it's pure harassment. another meaningless useless somebody=gets=paid-well federal program that stops nothing. do-not-call list? crap.
