These people have been calling me for months asking for someone named "Tahir" and no matter how many times I tell them that nobody named Tahir is at this number and that they have the wrong number and to please stop calling me, I keep getting calls from them.  Its ridiculous.  I want to report them for harassment.

That is outrageous.

These folks have been calling me for months now at all times of the day, all days of the week.  They did stop for a short while, but started back again last Sunday at 8:15 a.m.  I don't know who in the world they are and I don't give a flying fig, but I want these calls to stop permanently.  I don't answer the phone when I see it is this number, and they don't leave a message.  They just continue to call, over and over and over......  I'm already on the "Do Not Call" list.  Isn't there anyone that can do something about this?  Yesterday they called at 8:55 am, 10:22 am, and 1:00 pm.  Today it started at 8:45 am.  Please help!

I have them calling me 3x a day.I get letters from the constantly.I am in debt for 15k and they keep right on adding all of the finance charges at a rate of 490 per month.I tryed to call them to negotiate some kind of payment plan so I could at least pay them what i could and they were veru beligerant and arrogant.So I told them,if you want negotiate then you'll get nothing and I'll go bankrupt,now go F urself good bye.I have tryed to negotiate with 2 mortgage companies too and they don't want to hear anything so I told them the same thing.This is a disgrace what these comapnies are allowed to do and the only way to stop em is to "F" em and all of us should be doing it.

My name isn't even on the Cap 1 account (wifes account) and they somehow got my cell number and they started to call me. I told off a collector a month ago and told them to never call me again and hung up.They just tried to call me again this AM. They did not leave a message

The Fair Debt Colletion act is your answer. Write them a letter and tell them to stop the harrassing calls immediatly. Send the letter by certified mail and request a return receipt. By federal law, they must stop. They may call you for about another 30 but it should stop. After the calls stop, they still may try to call you every once in a while to catch you off guard, even though it is in violation of federal law. After they receive the letter, the only collections they are supposed to do is by mail only. Also, God gave us caller ID so you don't have to answer the call.

Calls several times a day and even Sunday morning 8 am. I am not in collections, I do not owe anyone, any money.  I guess I will have to report it...driving me nuts. Never anyone at the other end and never leaves a message.

This is nothing but a phone scam. They say they are from Capital One, and claim that you have gone over your credit limit and want an immediate payment to avoid further late fees and charges. Unforunate for them that I know exactly what I charge and my balance. Report this to your local police department, thats what I did.

I keep getting calls from Capitol 1 for collections on a card that I do not own. I have never had a Capitol 1 card. I have explained that the number is not correct in their records and that I take offense for the repeated calls. When I asked for a supervisor they hung up on me. It is my intent to next time tell the caller that I have absolutely no intention of ever sending them ANY money and to F*%k Off!

I have been getting calls daily for the last 5 days from "Capital One" at least 9 a day and I don't even have a Capital One card. Plus every call is from a different number.I have programed every number they call from into my phone so I know who it is. Today I bought an air horn and everytime they call I am going to blast them.

I am on national no call list and they keep calling.  They never leave a message on my phone.

keep receiving calls from this number.....sometimes 3-4 times a day, every day.  When I call the number back it just wants your account number of social security number.  First of all, I don't even have a capital one credit card, so I know it is a scam.....

I got a call from 866-929-5307, didn't answer (I refuse to waste minutes on my cell phone from numbers who I don't know and have never heard of), and no message left.  I don't understand why a legitimate company would not leave a message if they have a valid reason for calling you.  You never know what is going on nowadays...

I cancelled my Capital One account over a year ago and have recently began getting calls from this number.  I called them and asked to be removed from their telemarketing list.  I was told that they would. We'll see.

I get calls from this number and many others several times a day everyday. My cell phone does a 1/2 ring and says missed call. When I call back it says it's capital one and enter my card number. I hung up and contacted Capital One through a number on the back of my card and Capital One says they are not calling me. They have no reason to be calling me. THIS IS A FRAUD NUMBER!!!!! DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO!!!!

Got another call today. I have started keeping a list of all the unknown calls I get.  The seem to be coming from Capital One, the bank I actually do business with, and various "charity" organizations. Thank goodness for caller ID.

949-891-8831 have received numerous calls from this number. guy seems to know my name but refuses to give information on himself. hangs up when you ask him questions. told me he is from Tri something or other Construction Co.looking for work.
