This is such crap! My daughter got one on her door today (3/22/16) in Sioux Falls SD. They did not even go through Citi for they're loan nor are they servicing it. They've never been late on a payment. This is definitely a scam if I've ever seen one!!!! I told her to take it to the police to report it! I can't believe people defend this crap!

Just received an envelope on my door to call this number.  It was Citi Mortgage.  My mortgage is with Wells Fargo.  She asked for my social security number but finally looked it up by property address.  She kept saying, "Are you sure your Wells Fargo mortgage isn't serviced by Citi?  You don't have a second mortgage with Citi?" I said, "no, i know who my mortgage is with.."  She would not help solve the problem, she just kept hinting that it "could be" Citi.  Finally, after looking up the address, she said they did not have my address in their data base and told me to "call Wells Fargo".  Why would I do that?  They are already my mortgage servicer.  It was very secretive and odd.

This ridiculous message was on my door today too.
Plain white envelope, no identifying Citi by name, just "Service provider".

The best part is the spelled it QULAITY Service.

A billion dollar company that doesn't have spell check.

Yeah whatever.

I got a notice on the door with this phone number (866 940 5787) on it to call, and when I called, nobody was able to help. There was a big communication gap, to where they they don't understand what I was trying to say, and I don't understand what they're saying. So I have to wait until Monday to find out.
I Am going through a mortgage issue that started with the fact that my dad took the loan on family house. After he passed away, with taking care of his debt, this one was a missed. He had 5 different loans with Citibank. The other account were closed by sending death certificate. The mortgage account was not closed, because Citi mortgage did not honor the death certificate, and they would not talk to me because my name is not on the loan. I had to get a foreclosure realtor to assist with the matter. Big mess and headache that I have been dealing with for years.....
