We are in currently short-selling our property.
Called the number on ther door hanger and was connected to CitiMortgage.  The woman on the other end was very nice and explained that they were just making sure the property had not been abandoned.
When I told her we were still occupying the property she said she would make a note in the file and that the door hangers should stop.

they came to my door rang the bell and left brown envolope. Then a month later came back it was a mam in a white ford pick same as him white hair man baird white too leaving brown envolope saying call this # husdand yelled at him got good .

Thanks for sharing that information about the brown envelopes, I talked to the guy that left it at my door, he has been here 3 times, but when I call the number back it never connects to a representative at Citi or anyone for that matter even after I have put all my account info in the system. I did decide to call Citi's regular customer service number and not anyone there knew what I was talking about, I had him dial the number for me and after you put all of your account info in, the automated system just repeats the steps all over again and never connecting to a representative. This is not a scam as the previous guy explained.

Please call the number on the door hanger before you decide that it's a scam, they never ask for your personal information and it is a number for Citi Mortgage. It is regarding your mortgage. Just think about your mortgage situation and call the customer service number on your monthly statements.

This are door hangers people any one that has a past due account will get these they are in collection's effort so don't get scared.I know who ranger fairbanks is he is a director for the citimortgage department.

The envelopes have begun popping up near Peoria, IL.  I received one today 8/2/2012.

Door hanger left at residence brown with Citi Mortgage # 866-940-5787 no other identifying information. I contacted a Chris who stated he was from out of the country. I asked from where and he stated the Phillipines. I asked why the hanger was left on my door and he said it was in reference to your mortgage with Citi Mortgage. I advised him I did not nor have I ever had a loan of anytype with their company. He said it must have been a previous owner. I advised him I was the only person who has ever owned the house I built it. He hung up on me.

Have them arrested for trespassing, it's your property not theirs And BTW this number does not come up anywhere on Citimortgages site ( all are 800 prefix)

There is no Ranger Fairbanks listed in the company and there is no position of Director of Operations

I don't know where you're getting this so-called info BUT it's NOT fact     Ranger Rabbit isn't listed with citibank or citimortgage ANYWHERE

All that tells anyone is that you're working for a boiler operation, What's your supervisors name and the company that hired you?

You do NOT want these scum casing your neighborhood!
