You know you are, the banks always call the homeowner and the name of  the bank, who is calling and a telephone number.  Whatever scam you are running, or you are partaking in you deserve to be in jail.  May God have mercy on your heartless soul you scumbag.  May you punish in your old age and live to regret every scam you have been pulling on people. Imagine they sending all kinds of shady people to your houses, invading your personal space?  The banks never do that, they call up and leave their name, who is calling and  number for your to call. These folks are in a scam and they will be punished by God for picking on the weak.

No it isn't Citi...it is some scam.

I got one of these scam message envelopes and I don't have a Citi anything.  Besides Citimortgage has changed its name to something else.  This is a scam bigtime.

I purchased a home from Citi on a short sale foreclosure 6/16/2011 and 2 weeks ago received one of the door hanging messages.  I called Citi and because I do not have the mortgage number of the seller no one could help me.  I talked to the sellers real estate agent who promised to get things straightened out.  Today 3 months after I bought the house 2 men in a van are on my property taking pictures. I went out and told them that Citi does not own this house and they would not listen and kept taking pictures. It wasn't until I told them I was calling the police that they left.  I purchased this house after a battle with stage 3 breast cancer and after going through Chemo and pnemonia I could no longer walk up 3 flights of stairs.  I now because of Citi's srewup will probably have to hire an attorney that I can't afford to get them to stop invading my privacy and causing me embarassement with the new neighbors thinking I already defaulted on my 3 month morgage.  I now feel unsafe in my own home because of Citi.

I received a plain brown door hanger with my address handwritten on it.  In side was a hand written note saying to call Citi Mortgage 866-940-5787.  I called Citi bank using the number on my monthly mortgage bill.  

They stated "We do not deliver had written messages.  We have all of your information on file.  We do not ask for any information in this manner."

This is a SCAM.

We got the same thing from JP morgan, it is not a scam, sounds like some people are too embarrassed to admit they are behind on their morgage. As for the [***] that said that the CitiBank guy should be cursed, as well as his children, Grow the hell up. He who is without sin may cast the first stone. If you paid your debts off when you should, you wouldnt have to deal with the people. I have been in collections for cable companies for a while, When I collect the debts from my customers, they always have a lame [***] excuse, kinda like alot of people here!

did you all know , that every time they leave a brown envelop on your door , and snapping pictures of you leaving your house, approaching your ride to inquire who lives in the house is I am sure all illegal , besides the fact  these little envelops , they (citi) are justification that they tack on 180 dollars on deliquincy fees. Citi has made us nothing short of going bankrupt -we filed for the modification and went on a two year repayment plan first  - never late .. all the while they were charging  180 dollars delequint fees, 35 late fees, and 35 cent finance fee.  So that ensured them that we were never current . They put money in escrow , took out money and put the very first months of our obama plan in arrears.  Now they estimate we owe 8 grand. We just made our monthly payment of our check which clearly stated mortgage and principal only - and they tack it on to "unapplied funds" what the heck is that . And the 35 cent finance fee made our monthly payment short.  To say the least citi is the worse . If we had a way out I would jump on it .. Please attorneys step in and tell them the people cannot and will not tolerate it .. I am seeking an attorney now and hopefully once we are being monitered legally and they are .. Citi will get the message to leave us alone ....
