please stop calling my business we have no relations to this number and you dont have permission

keeps calling me every night. Filed complaint through better business bureau with no results. I do not owe anything, so they have no right to call me.

Hey Portfolio Associate Employees, thanks for calling me repeatedly looking for someone I do not know and have persistently told you so. I have so much to be grateful for and will try not to leave anyone out, so here goes:

I must send my special thanks to whoever called me
about rat s**t in the glue on envelopes because I now have to use
a wet towel with every envelope that needs sealing.

Also, I now have to scrub the top of every can I open
for the same reason.

I no longer have any savings because I gave it to a sick girl
(Penny Brown); who is about to die in the hospital for the
1,387,258th time.

I am now broke but that will change once I receive the
$15,000 that Bill Gates/Microsoft and AOL are sending
me for participating in their special programs or from the senior
bank clerk in Nigeria who wants me to split $7 million with me for
pretending to be a long lost relative of a customer who died in the  states.

I no longer worry about my soul because I have 363,214 angels
looking out for me, and St. Theresa's novena has granted my every
wish.    
I no longer use cancer-causing deodorants even though I smell like
a water buffalo on a hot day.

Thanks to you, I have learned that my prayers only get answered if
I had only answered this last call.

Because of your concern I no longer drink Coca-Cola because it can
remove toilet stains.

I no longer can buy gasoline without taking a man along to watch the
car so a serial killer won't crawl in my back seat when I'm
filling up.

I no longer go to shopping malls because someone will drug me with
a perfume sample and rob me.

I no longer answer the phone because someone will ask me to dial a
number for which I will get a phone bill with calls to Jamaica ,
Uganda, Singapore and Uzbekistan ..

Thanks to you, I can't use any-one's toilet but mine
because a big brown African spider is lurking under the seat to
cause me instant death when it bites my a**.

And thanks to your great advice, I can't even pick up the $5.00 I
found dropped in the car park because it probably was placed there
by a sex molester waiting underneath my car to grab my leg.

If you don't call to at least 144,000 people in the
next 70 minutes, a large dove with diarrhea will land on your head
at 5:00 pm this afternoon and the fleas from 12 camels will infest
your back, causing you to grow a hairy hump.

I know this will occur because it actually happened to a friend of
my next door neighbor's ex-mother-in-law's second husband's

Just got a call from this company.  They are trying to collect a debt from something 12 years ago on a Visa card I know I never had.  I was on Active duty in the Navy and was 19 years old.  I didnt get my first credit card till I was 25

No message left.  I get so many unwanted calls.  Never a message left.  No one there when I answer, probably because calls are generated by computers, but I don't wait on the phone.  Recently when I get unknown calls I simply pick up the receiver and hang it up.

If  you can honestly  prove  you have  no credit card, utility, comcast, rent etc ( they have bought out old debt too),   that has gone  unpaid...and it can  be yrs  old,  then  I would  write to the Attorney General's  Office in Virginia  and make a complaint.

I know  they  can  be a PIA  but  I found  out  that a couple  with the same  last name  obtained credit using MY ADDRESS and phone number  and defaulted on the debt.

ALSO,  A divorce  means NOTHING,  if the original credit card was opened in BOTH names and an ex-spouse continues to use the card  with or without yur knowledge. Had my ex stop paying a Sears account  which  was his responsibility  per court settlement documents.  Sears said,  Sorry, the account was opened in both names and I HAD THE APPLIANCES. They wanted them back along with the kids beds....

This is a lie. It is up to the collection agency to prove/validate that IT IS a debt of the persion they are calling. That is the consumers right under the FDCPA. The consumer has to 'prove' nothing.

They called me several times over the last week, never anyone on the other end. I created a custom ringtone just for them - silent. So when they now call, I hear nothing.  Working on a silent ringback tone, so when they call they get nothing but "dead air".

I guess they are back to using this number, at least for the week. They are trying to collect a debt that is past the statute of limitations and they know they have no teeth but can only call to beg and plead like a broke relative that won't take the hint and go away because they are getting nothing. They would do better begging on a corner somewhere. LOL!

I get a call from this number periodically.  Don't know them, dont care to know them don't want them to call - I am on the do not call list. Very annoying.

They call my house everyday!!!  I am sick of them!! I wish I had the home number of the people who are calling me so I can call and harass them!! We don't even owe anything!!!  Why do they keep calling!!! I usually answer and then tell them to hold on and leave them on hold until they hang up!

Calls my work cell phone number numerous times per day. Sometimes leaves a message for ******* . There is no person at this cell phone by that name. I finally answered at 7:22pm when I told the caller she had the wrong number she made a grunting sound like Um(as in whatever). She was extremely rude, unprofessional and evasive to my questions. I asked what company was this and whom was I speaking too. She said if I was not the person what difference did it make and would not give me information. I told her because you guys are costing me money calling my work cell number several times per day all week. She Hung up on me. I called back via redial on my cell phone and got PORTIFILO RECOVERY (spelling). I explained what had just happened to whomever answered the phone and tried to find out Who called and refused to identify the company or themselves. I was put on hold for far too long and finally hung up as more of my minutes were just going to waste. Calls from 757-961-3545. 757-961-3544. 866-940-7640 and who knows how many other number. Refuses to identify. Only found out because the recording stated the companies name on the machine.

Would file a complaint but it seems that these folks can operate with absolute impunity. I guess I have to live with the never ending calls and unprofessional attitudes or change my cell phone number and through away the 5000 business cards I made then get a new number and print new cards to stop the calls since it seems the GOV won't step in and enforce the consumer protection laws. LoL

Calls all the time. Never answer thanks to this site. I was wondering if I hooked up a recording device, to record the conversation we would have, if it's permissable in a courtroom. Yes of course the first words they would hear is, this call is being recorded for legal or training purposses. Maybe even ask them to send something in writing. Never admit to any knowledge to anything they might say. Just say please foward any information about what they say to you in writing.

They all hold signs at busy intersections saying, "Will Work Just To Distrupt Peoples Lives"

PRA called my house at 8am this morning and woke up my baby which was the first mistake they made.  The woman asked for my husbands ex wife.  I told her first that her name had changed and she didn't live in this home anymore so if she is using her old name and old number than she was committing fraud ( which isn't a surprise since she's been doing this for the last 3 yrs).  I asked the woman what it was in regards to since she called my home and she said it was a personal matter.  Told her to never call my house again, so we'll see if they do or not.  If they do then I will give the ex's cell number to them to contact and leave my family alone.
