866-940-7640 they call day and night and never leave a mesagewhen i ans it they never say any things

they called my house 3 times, before 8;00 AM! I tried calling # but busy signal

dang dudes they called me during class, and im a high school student having no records of owning a house, a credit card, and ultimately, a debt. now i wonder how they got my number...

Annoying butts. They always start of thier message with, "If you are not ________then disreagard this call". So that is what I do!

I can't believe thier website, it is so full of caca!

They call me every day from all sorts of different numbers.  They have always had the wrong person (every once in a while they leave the name of the person they are looking for and it's not me).  They just picked out a person with the same last name as the person they are looking for and made an assumption it was correct.  They aren't very good at fact checking.

These morons called again... at least once every day this week. I am deducting $20 every time they call, I should have this paid in no time! I am going to call them every day and tell them they owe a debt that is getting bigger every time they call, and if they don't pay up, I will sell the debt to NCO! LOL... now THAT would be the Shizznit!

Weird call. I didn't answer the phone. I let my answering machine take it. Usually, you don't hear a message in Spanish unless you press a number. However, the whole message was in Spanish, so I don't even know what the message was other than the phone number I am suppose to call.

Received another call for the umteenth time. Still didn't answer it.

Getting calls on my cell phone 4-5 times every day, no message, just hangups. Found out they use all of these numbers to call, so now they are all in my Contacts, with the ringer set to a single "beep", just so I don't accidentally pickup before they give up.

Some may be typos, e.g. 8007221413 or 8007721413 may be correct and the other a typo, but I kept them all on the list just to play it safe. It's not likely that the other number belongs to anyone I need to hear from anyway.

Portfolio Recovery.... I haven't owned a credit card since my bankruptcy 9 yrs ago, so I don;t know where they are getting their information, but I have no debt.

These people keep calling me and do not leave a message, Sooner or later they will get the idea that I do not answer numbers I do not know.

This portfolio recovery is a walking talking, living breathing disease that needs to be eradicated.

Ignore them and NEVER communicate or speak with them the same way as avoiding the black plague, and they are a black plague on society.

NEVER send them any money as they will only get worse like a gang of criminals that smells blood.

Congress needs to pass a law that once debt is past the statute of limitations, it is illegal to make phone calls to try to collect it - they could mail notices but they wouldn't because of the postage expense - that would stop these hooligans dead in their tracks. Write or email your congressman now!
