- debL replies to debLJust an update, I called my Credit Card company and explained about this company and the complaints that have been filed with the BBB regarding fraudulent charges to consumers credit cards. They were very helpful, placing a notification that no further charges from this company were to be allowed without my authorization. I also had them place a hold on my credit card.
- Andy S.After receiving calls from 623-238-6401 and entering into the google search I started reading about the scam of this offer. I placed my order on 6/19--I NEVER do this stuff and should have known better. I am kicking myself now for it. I answered the call from the number this morning, talked to Ethel Sloan, (which I would imagine is a bogus name for all employees to use), and was given the 866-949-0138 number to call. All circuits were busy. I called my credit card company to see if they had numbers listed with the charge. The number listed is 800-236-1042. Company name: Health Products Support. The 949-0138 number also goes to this company. The number listed with the credit card number for the Colon Cleanse is: 866-778-7482. For the Acai Berry I spoke to Paula, (Indian accent but clear speaking). I canceled the order--she tried to offer a longer trial period and $40 offer for first shipment. I told her I was adamant about canceling after the research I did. She canceled it in her system and gave me a confirmation number. I also told her about the fraud information I was finding out about the company. For the colon cleanse number, 866-778-7482, I spoke to a man named Ken, who also offered a longer trial period. I told him absolutely not and that I wanted the order canceled immediately. He gave me a confirmation number too. The $4.95 shipping and handling charge was non-refundable--even though the item was not shipped! The websites for the products are: www.acaiberrydetox.com and www.purenutrients.com. I will be calling my credit card company again--the billing dispute department--to let them know this is going on. I hope this information helps and I also hope the calls have rectified the potential problem.

- Andy S.| 2 repliesHere is my update:
I spoke to my credit card company. First of all, they are VERY familiar with this issue. They sent me to their billing dispute department. This department took my cancellation confirmation numbers and they are sending me a replacement card with a new number that will not be linked to the one the TRIAL ISSUE people received. From this point on, the number is invalid. I will be receiving a new card in a few days. This way, I will not have to watch for further charges not only from the berry/colon cleanse folks, but also any other companies involved with them. I would advise everyone else to do the same. It saves you time and the credit card company fraud expenses.- Caller: Acai Berry/Colon Cleanse, FWM Labs
- Chelley replies to Carle| 6 repliesregarding any Acai Berry weight loss supplement offered online for a risk free trial, saying you only have to pay shipping: please double check the terms & conditions before you order! Acai Berry Detox and Acai X3 are the exact same product, made by the same company. However, they will also show up on your credit card statement as totally different names, such as Total Body Cleanse and Rainforest Berry, with completely different cust. service #s as well. I have checked out all of the #s, from the ones listed on the websites to the ones on my statement, using this website, and they all have reports from people talking about how they've been scammed. If anybody has any questions (or advice) please free to email me at ChelleyBaby@q.com. Cust svc #s I've linked to this company (FWM Laboratories) incl: 866-949-0138; 800-244-2575; 800-226-2804; as well as a website called myordersupport.com.
- mawagner replies to Andy S.| 1 replyAfter being told by my CC co. that can not stop the transaction but they will dispute, I then had them cancel my credit card and they are sending me a new one. Seems to be the only way to go. The email address for questions for the company is NOT. And the telephones are never answered.
I got suckered on the Resvatrol Ultra, because it used Oprah and 69 minutes as references. They need to find someway to shut these fraud operations down. - mawagner replies to mawagnerUpdate. Went back over my Internet use and discovered a local station announcement on Resveratrol. Anywhere you click on this site it takes you to the Resveratrol Ultra company site. Obviously, using media sites such as local news stations, Oprah, 60 Minutes etc. to begin their con. How they can get away with this I don't know. Shouldn't there be some way to shut them down? I don't like the idea of Internet censorship but out and out fraud, or bait & switch using reputable sources could destroy trust & the use of the Internet. This has to be sopped. Time to write my representative.
peace - William GarciaI called to cancle the order. Can you please cancle my order #4224164 I do not want anymore coming to my mail please. Thank You
- JDKThis is a scam. Do not feel stupid, it looks like we all got sucked in. Here is what you should do: First, call your customer service credit card number. They will listen and have handled these situations numerous times. They will send ALL ACTIVITY on your card to a fraud (charges to dispute) department and before your credit card gets charged they will evaluate each attempt to see if it looks legit. If it looks like the company is trying to sneak in a charge (as I explained how they would, and explained the approximate charge $) they will call me to verify and ask whether I accept. I think this is your best bet. If you ry to call these morons they will just put you on hold, or tell you that there are 6 people ahead of your call. Then...who evenknows if they actually cancel your account anyway! Good luck. It's a pain, but not the end of the world.

http://www.naag.org/attorneys_general.php - Mike| 1 replyAbout the middle of May 09, I opened an on-line add, http://www.resveratrolultra.com/offer/resvera ... =40743-SJ0G0U07 and saw a very well done clip about Resveritrol, so ordered the free trial.
Nothing happened until 28 May when I got a phone call (Conf #6320745) asking if I still wanted to order it. I said I hadn’t gotten the free trial yet, and was told there were no free trials.
Normally I would have cancelled right then, but since it was endorsed by Ophra Winfrey, Barbara Walters, and I'd gotten (I found out later) a bogus e-mail endorsement from a friend, I went ahead and placed 2 orders for my wife and me. The lady said she was also sending a bottle of Life Clense with it, and the total for us both would be $79.90.
The $79.90 was taken out of my checking account for Sky Berry Clense. On 4 Jun I received one each bottle of Acai Berry and Life Clense in the mail. Thinking this was the 1st of two orders, I waited for the 2nd. When it didn’t come, I called the 24hr support line 866-949-0138 on 8 Jun that guaranteed complete satisfaction.
I talked with Cindy, (Conf #1167681), and she told me there wasn’t a 2nd order. When I told her I’d placed two orders, she said the Acai Berry and Life Clense were the two orders. Further discussion with her was fruitless. Finally she asked me if I wanted to continue getting it every month or to cancel it. By then I was feeling pretty sure I’d been scammed, so I told her to cancel it.
A couple of days later I called the support number again. The girl kept talking around in circles like Cindy did, and refused to give me the company's physical address and phone number. She did give me an e-mail address though. I wrote with my complaint, but still haven't heard back. (Big suprise.)
I used the product, and it hasn’t done anything for me either. - Jillian replies to Amanda LynnThis is only a live chat for certain websites. They are a 3rd party live chat customer service company.
- cinda replies to MikeI ordered on 7-6-09. I got the order on 7-10-9. I did a search and found all of these complaints. I decided I better cancel right away. I called today and was told that the order will be cancelled and I don't have to send the product back. I went online and checked the account, it is not showing shipment date of 8-5 like it was last nite. So I guess it was cancelled by the service rep. The # answered after about 5 rings. I was on hold about 5 minutes. I used the 866-949-0138# So keep trying it.
Good luck everyone - MSteI also got scammed by this company. Not only did I get charged for NOT ORDERING the product, I was charged a three way calling fee on my phone bill. This scam needs immediate investigating.
- NKI placed a trial order and after reading these comments above, I called 866-949-0138 to cancel. I reached a pleasant customer service representative who obliged me and gave me a cancellation confirmation #. She also asked me why I wanted to cancel and I told her that it was because of the negative comments. I had no trouble with this transaction. If my cc is charged later I will update this site.

- kaja24| 1 replydoes anyone know the original website?
- mmm223Be careful, I was charged for the cleanse that did not order on line, however I received a call in which they spoke very fast and hard to hear. They said they were calling to confirm my information for the detox and apparently slid in some words about cleanse. Thought I was agreeing to the Acai berry, apparently not. Spoke to a Jeff from customer service who was helpful. Unfortunatley I have to receive the product and then turn around and send it back within 14 days or I'll be charged more. Total scam!
