Someone from this number (supposedly a law firm; Fredrick's, Goldstein & Zoe LLC ) calls my house EVERY DAY! They have only left one message to call a Mrs Smith regarding a $4000 credit card debt from 1999 a family member was supposed to owe. However today, some one called from that same # and said he was an "investigator". I hung up and then blocked the number from my phone.

They called my Mothers house yesterday and told her I was going to jail if I didnt call before 5 today I called and some snotty guy started yelling at me saying he was an investigator I was going to jail for a credit card I dont remember having 10 years ago.  They also use phone number 1 866 949 9516 X400 Im calling my states attorney I dont have a job a car a home I have to use a library computer I sleep at friends houses in a sleeping bag and they scared me so bad that I was going to jail that I was thinking bad thoughts I have been trying for the last 15 years to get out of debt.  I have never been in trouble Im a decent law abiding citizen who served my country for several years I was asking myself last night why I should even bother anymore. SO what Ive learned here today has helped me calm myself some and Im so sorry to all of you who have had to deal with these [***] just remember Karma and do unto others peace out

Even after reading all of the feedback on this site I am still concerned, to be at total peace I need to know if anybody has ever had to go to court with these people. Please respond!

someone left a message saying she was a detective Baker for the lawfirm of Fredrick Goldstein. She was claiming to have a court case and that me or my lawyer needs to contact her or I would be served at my home or place of business. So I googled the law firm and found out they try this on everyone. They lie about court orders and even give a case # they are a complete scam!!!

Thanks for the information.  I know this is a hoax.  Will be reporting them next.

I have been making payments to Graham Noble & Associates otherwise known as Fredrick Goldstein & Zoe.  They took over my "account" apparently after I had made arrangements with Graham... I did not know that these pair of companies were tied together until I read all of this.  My account is old I was not aware of the SOL law and now that I have made payments the SOL is starting all over again.  Does anyone know what I can do legally to resolve this matter, do i wait for "the suit" has anyone been taken to court by these people.

They are trying to collect money we do not know what is going on

I have been receiving calls about once a month for the last six months from these folks about matters involving family members of a guy I divorced 17 years ago. Every time they call I have explained this situation and have been advised that my name and number will be removed from their call list. Yeah, right. I am now taking further action. I will be calling my state attorney general; I have filed a report with the FTC; and if necessary, I will file suit against these SOBs. Unfortunately, the No Call List doesn't apply to bottom feeding scum like this. I can't hurt them with criminal charges, but I fully intend to pursue them for harassment, including punitive damages, if they don't leave me alone.

They called looking for the witch that married my father in law. How they got our phone number I don't know. I told them to go get her and throw her in jail. I have nothing to do with her or her bad debt.

I have also received a call from Fredricks, Goldstein and Zoe.  A few months back they called my father and left some garbled voice mail with the #.  At the time we couldn't understand what was said, so we decided to forget about it.  Then today, I received a call at my WORK phone (not sure how they got that!).  They asked if I had a Mastercard from Household / Arbor Bank which I do NOT nor have I ever had.  They said it was opened in 2002.  Here's the info they gave me:

I said I would not pay until I had more information about the claim, who issued it, what kind of paperwork they had, etc.  They said they would fax me information regarding the claim and surprisingly they did (just as previous posters observed).  That fax had a business header with the following:

called threatening me with sheriff serving me with a summons from GE financial mr. zoe was very rude and very pushy on getting my checking acct or debit card to pay 547. and some change to pay off a 3000.00 debt this morning I go online and look up the web site for Fredricks Goldstein and Zoe and see the reports from other people they tried to sucker into paying them. what a mess. report the to ID theft 877-382-4357

Fredricks, Goldstein, and Zoe is not who they say they are.

It is really Frederick S. Goldstein who is a lawyer, but he was suspended for misconduct. Look him up.

This really is getting ridiculous.

They have been calling for over four months, and everytime they say "if you do not contact us within 48 hours, you will recieve a summons from your Sheriff's Dept..."

Then do it already! This is getting out of hand; they call at all hours of the day, and call repeatedly (I don't answer the call). I have been unemployed for four months, and am surviving off of Unemployment and Food Stamps... this really is adding to my stress. I have already filed a complaint against them. Is there anything else I can do? I want these calls to end.

OMG  They gall of these people. They called My 68 yr. old father and started to harass him. Beacuse the are looking for My husband. This is horrible. Please If You recieve the calls from Fredericks, Goldstein, and Zoe  DO NOT give them any information. Also let You friends and family know this is a SCAM in the worst way.  If the continue to harass you please contact the FTC and You state attorneys office.

Received a call from Frederick, Bollstein & Zoe, LLC at 1-866-949-9484, Investigator James Kelly.  Needs an immediate response from a person or his attorney bythe name of someone I have never heard of.  Failure to respond will cause an immediate writ of execution summons.  This is a scam. This is an obvious "fishing expedition".  I believe he is calling everyone in the phonebook with the same or similar last name.

I got a call from these guys, they used the 24 hour tactic on me, did not call them for about 2 weeks, because I knew it was for a legit debt I did owe.  Its been about 5 years since it went bad, but I still owed the debt and it was still on my credit report as a bad debt.  

They didn't get the chance to threaten me with lawsuits because I wanted to pay what I owed back in 04'.  But!  Just because I knew how to get what I wanted from these guys doesn't make it just for them to brake the law.  I am filing a complaint against this office with the FTC.

My girl friend received a call from this number yesterday and today, threatening the same things as above (you owe money, court summons, etc.). After I did a search on the number, because the message was so vague, I found this site, and told her what I'd found. She called them back, and put it on speaker phone so I could listen. The guy who ended up taking the call was very forceful, rude, and when asked for further details responded with hostility, threatening to have her in court by Monday (this is Thursday). He further stated that he was writing this down as 'a refusal to pay'. When my girl friend responded that she hadn't refused or accepted anything, just asked questions, he hung up.
There's no way this is legitimate, or even legal.
Tried getting AT&T to block the number, but they wanted a monthly fee.

Yup- been getting calls from these A--H---s for the past several months, they will never actually identify them selves, will not speak clearly enough that you can understand them!
When they first called they said they were from the San Juan County Utah Sheriffs Office, trying to contact a Calvin Smallcamp (always use the same name or a varation of it). I do not answer any calls, let them leave a message, so I called them back and advised them that there was not now nor had never been any Calvin Smallcamp at this phone number, and that they were not to call any more. They always give the name of "Investigater Baker" and an extension, when you call back she is never availabe. It is always the same thing "I have a summons for you in my office, it is imperetive that I talk to you or your attourny"
They keep presssing me for my name, I always tell them that that is not revelent, and refuse to give them my name. Today I advised them that I contacted the San Juan County Sheriff's office and was filing haressment charges against them, they now will not answer their phone!!

If you get call from this office, don’t panic, DO NOT agree to anything. Just ask them to send you a letter with the following information as per “Fair Debt Collection Practices Act”

1. The amount of debt.
2. The date of debt.
3. The name of the creditor to whom the debt is owed.
4. Name and address of the original creditor, if different from the current creditor.

Check your free credit report from https://www.annualcreditreport.com to see if any collection is listed. It you think it is a valid debt and you want to settle with any collection agency, get a settlement offer in writing and then send them a money order or cashiers check. Never give them your financial account information.

This company mostly call for very old debt. Most states fall within a three- to six-year statute of limitations range for collection. I have received several calls from this office regarding a debt from 1996. They have never sent me any written notice. Also when I call their telephone number (1-866-949-9516), the person who picks up, states that law office of Fredricks, Goldstein & Zoe. But I have searched and no such law firm exists. After receiving several calls, I send them a certified letter to provide proof of the debt from 1996. Never heard back from them.
