okay call - called with code so I could get on line with a new computer

Chase automatic customer service call.  I had  chaged my password earlier in the day.  I'm guessing they called to verify it was me. Why don't they just leave a message ?

On the Chase website, it currently shows this is their customer service number (in the USA):

However, caller ID can be faked. So if someone calls from a "legit" number and then tells you to call back a different number just DON'T DO IT.

Call the number printed on your card. That's the only number I will ever trust.

I open a account online at chase.com wend I made the $25 deposit it gave me my account number in three days I went to the bank they looked up the account it came back as a invalid account they had no history of me at all but if they had no history of me at all why did they tell me at the bank that a 2k check bounce on that account that's were I said its a big lie from there side if its a invalid account how did u pull up a 2k check but they still took my 25 dls an I hade to file a claim an that same day I got my 25 dls back

STILL RECEIVING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER SAYING  HE IS JAMES HARDY  WITH CHASE HOME LENDING    I LOST 500 DOLLARS  THEY TRYING TO GET ANOTHER  500    ALSO  HE IS  ASKING  ME TO CALL ANOTHER NUMBER OF 716-240-1700   TALKED TO CHASE MORTGAGE  AND  THEY  SAID THIS  IS A SCAM   AND  NO PAYMENTS  HAVE WENT  INTO MY  HOUSE PAYMENT  FROM THIS PERSON  AND  THIS  JAMES HARDY  THEY HAVE  EMPLOYED WITH THEM IS IN LONDON AND  WOULDNT  BE  CONTACTING  UNITED STATES -- THEY ALSO USED  MY  PERSONAL CHECKING ACCT  TO CHECK ME OUT ONLINE  SO  I HAD TO CANCEL MY PERSONAL ACCOUNT  AND FIND MONEY FOR THE REAL CHASE

You really need to figure out why they are calling you.  This is a business number that is referring to your Chase account.  If it is a mistake you should call them and let them know they are reaching the wrong person and you do not have an account with them.

10/23 18:19  PDT no ID and no msg.  Call log shows also, outgoing to this number at 19:33 (not me) and another incoming at 22:05, never came in.  

I am so fed up with these losers who try to scam people. The Caller ID listing came up as "Chase ATM" regarding an authorization code. That's hilarious, because I don't, and have never had a Chase account. This is definitely a total SCAM. These losers need to get a life and a real job already.

Got two calls from this number yesterday, answered the second one.  They were calling regarding my "open auto loan application".  I don't have any open apps so I called the number back and was surprised to hear it was Chase.  I do have my current auto loan through Chase, but I have had it for over two years. They have looked into various depts and do not show any open applications on file for me so I have no clue what the call is.  While this may be a valid number for Chase, I wonder if someone else is using it?

I have no business with Chase Bank. So why are they even calling me.

Valid call from Chase.  Went to pay credit card bill online, their system didn't recognize my friend's computer, so I had them send me a secondary verification code via phone.

This is a legit # from Chase.  My password for Chase online was not recognized.  I checked option to call me with Code #.  They called a few seconds later.

Yes...constant calls from 877-242-7372 and I would like them stopped.

You need to contact Chase then and tell them to stop calling you.  They should have a contact us page on their web site.

It really is Chase.  I had the same problem with getting into my Chase account because I had wiped all my cookies.  They called, gave me the code to enter on the computer and VOILA I was into my account and paid the bill.

I have no idea why people with no Chase cards are getting called.  This number is sent via computer.  Complain to Chase if they are calling you in error.  But it isn't a scam.

Some of these calls are not from the number on your caller ID.  They're spoofed.  Do not give any them any information.  If they call and it's about something you know about, that's one thing.  If they ask for information or ask you to log on to a website, that's another.
Call a known good Chase number, let's say the one on the back of the credit card, or even a local branch number to verify.  I just received a phishing request supposedly from Chase with a German email address asking me to log in and update information.
I was born at night but it wasn't last night so I forwarded it to Chase.

You are in on this fraud. The 866 355 3744 number is NOT from Chase. The 7372 number that initially appears on the caller ID is spoofed, and is a Chase number. Yes, your scam is sophisticated. Kudos. I hope you end your years in a nice steel cage.
