The problem with paying your orriginal creditor is.............they no longer own your debt, they sold it and all rights of recovery now belong to Marval including the right to sue you.
Any time your debts are sold to a debt buyer all rights are transfered to the buyer in the terms of the contract including litigation rights.
Basicily if you call your original creditor they will tell you the same thing, even if you make a payment to the orginal creditor it is still forwarded on t the debt buyer in this case Marval or their parent company.

saying i bounced a check across county lines or state lines, and they would report me to the county i live in. don't know anything about bouncing a check.

do not worry they will say anything to scare you.  they are an illegal company, that the law will catch up with.  they even say that they are the law.  do not believe anything they say

harrassing our friends for info....which is illegal.....tried calling a few months ago under a different agency name ,,iasked for paperwork to be sent and they refused, they are not lawyers nor are they investigators...they are now calling again..i also said i could not come up with the amt they wanted and they would not take less..therefore i feel they are not working for anyone but themselves and this time i will report them to attorney general

I got a call today at work from this number and they said that my drivers license was in jeopardy that I or my attorney needed to call within 24 hours and that this is the last and final notice, you have been warned. They called me at work and at my sisters. I have never received a call from them before and I have no idea who it is and how my license is in jeopardy. He was very rud on the phone. They also call at for me at my sisters house.

This is a typical BUffalo, NY scam debt collection operation. They hide their names, addresses domain and phones. Company was incorporated in 2009. They mirror Toby Boyland who is going to prison for crminal debt collectors. Collecting for CashNet/Sanctuary Capital Management, LP, Dallas Payday loans.

Anyone sending these drug addicts, pot smokers and parolee's should not be surprised wqhen they lose their money. There are more RED FLAGS on the net than most all collectors.

If they were operating legal why would they be hiding from everyone?

If evryone stopped paying, forced them to produce documents, collection licenses and bonds, they won't last. These are criminals, why keep feeding them?

call said imperative but get calls from this number daily for no reason.. figured I'd pass the msg along that they are illegal!

If you want me to take you off our list, please call. I promise I will not harass you. We have had several thousand people added to incorrect lists and I am in the middle of sorting it all out.

On October 14, 2009, I received a telephone call from Marvel & Associates and spoke with Mr. Jonathan Smith and he told me that the account was paid in full ($1400) On November 2, 2009 another $414.47 was autodrafted from my account and I again spoken with Mr. Jonathan Smith who stated that since this was a refund it would take 24-48 hours.  I call Marvel & Associates again on November 6, 2009 and the monies are not in my account as of yet.  Not to mention the overdraft this mistake has cost me and to no avail.  I hope I can get my monies back, but it looks like I to no avail.  My next step is to contact the Better Business Bureau.  I will also include harrassment as Mr. Smith stated, "I took the monies, so that you would call me back.  This is totally unprofessional when it comes to a single mother and monies being taken from her and her children.  I need relief as soon as posslb.e

I got a call from this company about a debt that I owe, the representative "Elliot" left a message stating that my Drivers license would be revoked and that I had been legally notified.  When I called to inquire what he meant , and to ask for a mailing address so that I could file an attorney general complaint, they refused the information and told me if I had paid my bill that I would not be getting their call.

Different aggressive women leave messages at all hours of the day and night. They do claim to be a law firm, which they are not. They used to use an Upstate NY number, but now go by 877-252-0491. These collection reps want to get their commission badly. They call at home or at your workplace. They are not supposed to be calling until 10pm at night when you are at home or threatening or causing harassing phone calls at your job. And they really claim to be legitimate. If you owed credit card bills from over 8 years ago, then they will be calling you. If you closed an account 8 years ago, they will be calling you. It's fraudulent. And they cannot tell you what account number on your Visa or Mastercard that they are collecting on, nor for which company. They can make up any numbers and have you send money to who knows where.

i went to a officer today cause they stated they were the fbi and we the officer called and asked them the stated the where a collections company the were told not to impersanat a fbi agent but they are not a law firm cause he asked and they he need to contact the dea in ny to do anything lol they are just a joke company and so you know i owe no money to no one i was a refers on they acount and they call and threated me and my family this is a bunch of bullsh*t they are pulling we need to get them closed and the one guy name i spoke to and the officer was Investergater Rick Collins

A Investagator Anderson called my work phone left message to call him back.  Said he was with Marvel and Associates and left the 1-877-252-0491 phone number to call him back on.

The exact same thing is happening to me.  The man that is calling me says he is an investigator and wont let me  get a word in.  I have to tell him to be quiet and let me talk but he refuses.  He wont tell me anything about the loan I took out(cause I dont remember which company it was), wont send me papers or even give me a fax number.  He calls me at work 20 times a day and says Im being recorded and i can face legal consequences.
My co-workers are telling him to speak english and i just found out he called my best friend and now is threatening her and she is upset with me.
Are these really investigators?  He only wants $500.00 but I cant pay him at once and he calls me all the time and wants it by a certain time.

They are very rude people, I think their trying to scam me for a payday loan I already paid back!!! STEVE GRIVAS, OFFICER ANDERSON, ALICIA CARTER, LISA WHOEVER...these people are crazy!

Officer, Investigator etc...Anderson appears to be a man and a women!!! These fake collectors are just plain dumb won't get no money from me!!!
