Research results= an ill ex spouse of the company employee goes on all these web sites and enters Slanderous (in writing)paragraphs.  In discussion with Attorneys to catch her in the act.  Look for adds  focused on one particular individual named Mark.  She can't seem to live a normal (be kind to people) life.  She seems to have nothing else to do, goes on these web sites to be cruel to one person she divorced 7 years ago???.  Continues to jump from man to man ( wonder what that's called? ) with children involved too.  Investigation ongoing....  Disregard this SICK PERSONS entries.  Invest in swamp land in Florida makes more sense than believing the revenge notes of ill people.

Mark called and left a message stating that he was going to serve me at my home if he could not serve me at work.  He left that number, so i called it back, was transfered 3 times and the last cow that answered said he is the process server.  How can you serve someone when you can't even send something in the mail that shows you owe the debt.  I told her that I was needing something in writing and she started that crab again, and i politely told her that I was going to check with the Fair debt colletion info and the first thing she said was.. oh dont' try and pull that on me, I said, well I have rights, and you better stop calling me if you can't provide proof,..well she got pissed and I hung up the phone.  they must think people are stupid

These guys are committing a crime with how they are contacting people and lying to collect money. Seriously, just buy a $20.00 tape recorder and when they call record it. You can then file suit against them and not only get rid of the debt, but have them pay you aswell. Using "investigator" is against the law, as well as saying lawyer, when there is NO LAW OFFICE there. They are a simple collection agency who uses "associates" to sound like a legal firm.

Also, Just an FYI, since I used to be an exec for a collections agency. If your debt to them is not a large amount say $3,000.00 or less, they won't sue. First because it will cost them more than you are worth, and second they say they will get you for their legal fees, but no judge is going to award that.
This is why they try to scare you. You cannot have your license suspensed. They look up your county on the internet and use it with a legal docket to spook you. If you are unsure, call your local county office and check it out, you will find nothing filed.

Hell I'm suing 'em. Or rather, Ms. LUE is. Interesting, Mr. Domenico DAngelo said they were taking care of this collection problem and offered 2k to get Ms. LUE to go away. Seeing as these posts are still popping up, apparently, the 2k is "shut up and go away money." Don't be surprised to see an apology on their website in a month or so, big black box right at the top.

This guys been calling my job and I will take some action about that,,, I will be reporting for fraud.

I am currentely fighting with Marvel and Associates and wish I would have read this before I authorized them to take money out of my account. They harrased me at work, cell phone, home, ect. I finally said take out $369 from my account. When I checked my account they took out on the 22nd $369 and then on the 24th $369. I called them and they were very rude and denied it, I faxed them over the bank statement and they said they have to investigate it. They are  a scam!

Has anyone heard of a company called check solutions of America? I got a call from them saying I owe another company money from a previous Internet payday loan, and set up payment with them but can't find anything on these guys and if there a real collection agency.

I just got a call from them and I am trying take care of this issue. I told that I didnt have the money to pay at this time and told I would have coming on a friday which would have been in three days and said they couldn't wait. So I asked If I can can give them the money by the end of today and they also said no and they needed the money now. See I was trying to pay my debt but they wouldn't work with and threanted me to sue me and garnish my wages!! There are jerks!!

I have to admit, I find it humorous when debt collectors come on all high and mighty and altruistic saying things like "pay your bills, deadbeat."

this place marvel & assoc called my place of employment..What do i do.  I just answered the phone and it was a recording to call this number and we have caller id at work.  What do I do?  I want to call and see if they were actually calling for me, but don't want to give my cell # do due I just changed it. or my address.  any advice?

When my ex husband starts paying child support like he is suppose to, then I will pay them.  Better yet maybe I should have them call him for the money since he is the reason I am having a hard time paying the bills.

When I asked if they were a 'Collection Agency,' super duper SPECIAL INVESTIGATOR Tyler Nash got all bent out of shape and said they were not a CA. After he started yelling and hung up and I called back he finally said "We are a collection agency." When he realized he had contradicted himself, again, he got mad, yelled, accused me of ruining the economy, bragged that he makes 80,000 a year, and then hung up.

Ask for their License number to do business in your state. They won't give it to you because they don't have one. They're scumbags, very bad at what they do, and collection agency posing as a law firm threatening legal action.

They are a scam, they have no legal rights to your account, they are not investigaters.. they are just another debt collections agenncy from Buffalo NY who try and scam you... if you do pay them, they never notify the credit buraeu... They bought ur debt from another agency who bought it from abnother agency and so on... and if u dont pay it they will just sell it to someone else.. they also have another agency called Jacobson & associates they are scammers also !!
