    I just received this also on my phone bill ($14.95) called AT&T I was told that it was a third party billing and the tech from AT&T said that he would send ilt back to RasK Network, LLC and for me to call them at the number that was listed on my bill (877-257-2455) I was lucky to get through on my first, try sopke with a girl named June she said that it was an Efax Service monthly payment that was set up on 9/27/10 over the internet. I told her to cancel it i did not order/or authorize this and that i will not/am not going to pay for it, i dont have a fax machine and to take my number out of their system. i asked her for the name of the person she gave me my mothers name. When i informed her that  was impossible because she passed away back in 1993 and that i had already spoken with AT&T and they are sending the charge back to them she then said that she would cancel the service and send credit($29.90) to my phone account. I told her to do at right then and give me the cancellation number which she did. I called AT&T back to let them know what was going on they ask for the cancellation # and said that they will note on my account and look for the credit to be put on my bill. AT&T also told me and noted on my account to only pay the portion of my bill minus the amount that is to be credited. Spoke with an AT&T supervisior ask how can they just allow someone to place charges on my bill without my knowledge or authorization she explained that with third party billing they cant do anything because they have no way of knowing if it was authorized or not and that they (AT&T) are in the process of getting this changed so that all third party billing has to be confirmed by the owner of the phone before it will be placed on the bill to avoiod this type of problem. With all the different internet stuff out there not only has AT&T had an overload of this type of problem Verizon an others have aswell. The supervisior also said that AT&T is working on trying to get regulations to stop this. She was very nice my problem got resolve within about thirty minutes after I discoverd the problem and i will keep checking my bill to make sure this does not happen again. To everyone if you discover you have an unauthorize charge on your phone DO NOT PAY IT. call your phone company they will either take it off or send it back. If you pay it they will assume that you authorized it.  AT&T was very helpful for me in getting this matter resolved.

    i have been crammed twice in the last few months, and a friend was crammed this week by AT&T, both of us via home telephone bills. ATT claimed the FCC forbids them to block 3rd party billing even if you, the account holder, request it. When I called the FCC (Federal Communications Commission), the agent said the phone companies “can’t discriminate,” interpreted to mean you can’t ask for a blanket blocking of all 3rd party billers. Agent did admit this is getting to be a huge problem with many scam “companies” simply asking your phone company to charge for their “services” via your phone bill. They can get your name and phone number and phone company very easily without your knowledge. Phone companies aren’t compelled to check with you for legitimacy and wouldn’t want to because it would cost them money to do so, whereas they get a percentage from the “service company” from the money collected from you. FCC gets thousands of complaints, the agent said, but the place to complain is the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) for these scams not directly involving your telephone operational service. What the FTC will do other than collect complaints, I don’t know; but I am also writing my Congressperson to ask that steps be taken to change the law to regulate these practices that must be costing unwitting consumers collectively big money. I urge all of you to do so, too. And keep examining your phone bill because the first time I was crammed, I asked AT&T to block 3rd party billing and was assured by the rep that it was taken care of. But when I called ATT after the second cramming and complained about not honoring my “block,” the rep then told me FCC wouldn’t allow it.

    Where the confusion comes from is your phone company does have a 3rd Party Block however that is for 3rd Party Calls, meaning you call the operator and tell them you want to bill the call to your home phone. There is confusion and miscommunication between service representatives and the consumer because they may be thinking you’re asking about blocking 3rd party calls when you are actually talking about 3rd party billing companies. Whatever the scenario may be phone companies do have to comply with allowing these charges appear on your bill. I personally do not agree that this is allowed and if it continues to be allowed 3rd Party companies should require more verification for security purposes than just a fake name and phone number.

    I just received my bill from Verizon with a $14.95  charge from RASK, I called them and they said, I signed up through my personal email account, which I never did. The charge was listed as Oct.11,10 bill, which the Oct. bill  was paid on Oct. 31, 2010. So how did this appear on the Oct. billing. SCAM BIG TIME. Why is'nt VERIZON doing anything about this? I will Contact the Public Utility Commission with a complaint. Watch out RASK I'm on to you.

    Same thing happened to us this month. Why is ATT billing for this fraudulent company? I steal money I go to jail. ATT and "fetch unlimited" steal nothing happens. As other posrters have pointed out many people are probabaly not aware that there telephone company and this crooked company are billing them. Screw ATT for reaping benefits off of fraud (they get a fee after all).

    I check my ATT bill each month for any differences from the past month. I don't have any variable cost services and pay flat fee for each. Only change is normally in the various taxes.
    Suprised to see a charge of $12.67 from "SECURATDAT-GoGlobalVocal FEE" and to call 877-257-2455.
    I have no idea who this company is or what they do. I've spent most of this afternoon trying to resolve this, talking to customer service reps from this company and ATT. I can only hope this is resolved.

    This has been quite an eye-opener. I did not know ATT allows third party billing without ATT customers consent/authorization. ATT says they are required to do so.

    This appears to be a gold mine for these crooks. If they are able to get even a small percentage of all their billings, they are probably doing very well. The sadness of this are those ATT customers not diligently reviewing their bills and just pay the bill.

    I do not have caller ID, but a few times the last few weeks I kept getting phone calls. When I would answer or the machine would answer, there was a recording saying "Please hang up and dial a 1 or 0."  I would just hang up. Today I opened my ATT bill and there is a charge of $29.90 on my bill from this 877-257-2455. Of course I opened the bill after ATT and the other place were both closed. So now I have to get up in the morning and deal with this garbage!

    On my Verizon phone bill there was a $14.95 charge from Fetch Unlimited billed through Transaction Clearing. I called them and they said that service was authorized for fax service. What is that about!!!
    I cancelled and called Verizon for a block of charges. They said I signed up on line - no way.
    Terrible, terrible people just out to make a buck.

    I am going to contact local news in Houston to report this scam to them.  This way I know the news people will contact BBB or FTD to find out why are those useless [***] have not taken any actions against this [***] company so called WMV blah blah blah or RASK ASS Network.  I am also the victim of this scam that being charged for 14.95 just like many of you.

    Transaction Clearing charge of $16.07 on ATT bill. Called carrier and they have to take all third-party billing requests by law. Carrier is now blocking the charge. This is just outragous.

    What a way to wake up! Opening the phone bill to think ,"Oh this month is going to be a piece of cake". I have been paying extra on all utilities. Thinking there should be a NICE CREDIT, I find SOME BOGUS CHARGES FROM "WVM NETWORK-LLC-EFAX SVC MTHLY FEE". I was charged twice $14.95 each time. Get    this,      my  AT&T bill    is dated from    10/12/10 to 11/11/10.   This "NETWORK" has the approval,          apparently from AT&T,             to BACK CHARGE me on 9/29/10,      and then again on 10/29/10.     The amounts total $29.90, from a             TRSCN CLRNG.    This is crap!     I have approved NO   new services     and have NO FAX MACHINE to boot!        AT&T WILL HEAR FROM ME TODAY!     SO WILL  THIS CROCK LLC-EFAX, too!

    We NEVER ANSWER THE HOME PHONE DUE TO THIS KIND OF CRAP HAPPENING!

    I feel sorry for them!           I hate to talk on the phone,isn't that ironic?          I won't BE NICE!!!!!

    I too have the same problem, second time billed  by TRSCN CLRNG 1-877-257-2455 on my AT&T monthly statement for $29.90. AT&T should know by now this is a bad policy on their part to bill 3rd party. This to me is wire fraud and may cost AT&T by me removing, my home phone, cel phones, u-verse TV and internet if they continue to be involved with a questionable company?? AT&T also is removing the add-on also but this is for the second time. AT&T are you paying attention to your complaints????

    I called 877-257-2455 and gave them the dates of the charges and they said they were going to reimburse me, but it should take up to 2 billing cycles.  We'll see.  They did issue me a credit in June initially when I had discovered it, but only for the month of June, so now I am trying to collect for February through May....big scam.  No one is allowed to give out ANY information at all anymore to ANYONE regarding our address, etc.  I believe this is how it happened to begin with.

    And yes, you can pretty much guarantee that "pleased" and "happy w/it" are part of the scam....

    verizon is not help..said i needed to talk to this company..but all i get is a voice message.  go figure..didn't give permission for anything.  and now i have to fight..getting tired of arguing with this.

    I didn't get a phone call from this number but it is on my phone bill from AT&T under "transaction clearing".  I have no idea what it is and can't get hold of AT&T (holiday).  he 877-257-2455 number doesn't answer or on holiday too.

    This happened to me on my att bill! I never signed up for the services but I was billed $14.95 for efax bill on my att account as well. I'm calling them today to get this cancelled off my bill.

    has billed my AT&T Phone Service Account $ 11.95 on 9/14
    Also bill my AT&T Phone Service Account    $11.95  on 10/14
    I have not made any personal agreements with this company nor calls
    further am contracting Channel 7 KGO help me with above matter
    I feel these charges was not made ( myself ) and I have no personal
    reason pay these fraudlent charges assign my home phone account
    I will seek legal assitance fight these charges, to fullest of law
    please govern yourself these pressing factors at this time

    Same complaint as the other messages, AT&T customer service folks have been very nice but provided contradicting information month by month. I had 3rd party block put on my account last month and received another charge on the bill I received for this month, charged for two months this time since I contested last month and received a credit. This month AT&T told me there is no such thing as 3rd party block. Customer service has been counter-productive, suggest everyone call AT&T fraud dept direct at (800) 438-5678, monday thru friday. If the fraud department becomes inundated with these fraud complaints perhaps they will put a stop to the scam. Good luck- GM
