Just like you, I also thought that Text-Savings, LLC was some type of fraud.  So I started looking into why I was being
charged $9.95 a month by this third party company.  I called AT&T and they gave me the toll-free number to call Text-
Savings.  I called them and a polite young lady answered.  She proceeded to give me a rundown of what the service
consisted of.  She also answered all my questions.  And to my surprise, I was pleased with what she had to say about how
their service works.  So when you see something out of  the ordinary, don't assume  right away  that someone
is out to take you for a ride.

yes I would like to report the billing on my home phone bill from TRSCN CLRNG 1-877-257-2455  of $8.23 per month for services unknown....amount withdrawn is $49.38 of unknown withdrawns form my AT&T account.

What is every one doing to solve this issue?
What can I do to stop this?

I discovered a $10 charge on my residential phone from Transaction Clearing LLC on behalf of Text-Savings LLC for "TEXTSAVINGS,LLC-INET DIR LSTNG W/TEXT".  I called the phone number and they said I had an account with them.  They had my home telephone number, home address, and the name of a non-business internet domain I own.  They said they would tell AT&T (my carrier) to reverse the charge within 2 billing cycles.

They apparently got my home telephone number and home address from the domain registration, then fraudulently billed the phone number.  What to do?

1) File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau at http://austin.bbb.org.  They have dozens of complaints about Transaction Clearing LLC, but the more the better.  The address of Transaction Clearing LLC is at http://www.transactionclearing.com.

2) File a complaint with the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

3) Contact the business office of your local carrier and have them block third-party billing from Transaction Clearing LLC.

This to happened to me as well. I called our phone company AT&T and received assistance. Had THIRD PARTY BILLING BLOCKED to prevent this in the future. Called TRSCN CLRNG at 1 877 257-2455
and took care of it on that end (I HOPE)...However, I still don't know how this got on my bill and when this was done. The rep. was unable to give me a date this was charged. I do not recall talking with any telemarketer, or any unusual phone call at all. I do wonder how many other companies that we do business with allow third party billing. That's just not right.

They are out of the ordinary as they are minutes apart from each other. At some point they probably will show they were posted on the same day. When something is out of the ordinary, it just is. Chances are highly likely that there are people who want to rip off other people, because they can. It is wise to be careful there are a lot of people wanting to take us all for a ride. There is no assumption about it. We watch the news!

Got a $12 charge on my verizon bill from them challenged it based on all of the negative comments on transaction clearing. Explained to verizon that it was obviously a scam especially since I couldn't get a hold at anyone at Transaction Clearing (it's just voicemail!). Verizon was understanding, and I was credited for the charge, plus got third party billing blocked, so I hope this will keep this from happening (second time we've been hit by these 3rd parties). Dunno how TC got our number, but these days stuff like this is not surprising, but it's such a bother getting things sorted out! >:-O

I got the charge also - says billed on behalf of securatdat, inc.  ATT will credit at this time but it will be an ongoing charge.  I filed complaints with CPUC & FCC - we'll see what happens!

This is Scam you either with company or getting benefit this is Scam we have call ATT put Block on our Bill and get over with all third party billing.

Found this to be the most disrespectful company yet. I called to have this removed from my bill and they continued billing. Called company again and spoke to a person that was rude and when I asked to speak to a manager, she put me on hold for 15 minutes. A new person came on the line and said that she was taking over (was not a manager) and she could help me, she would not let me talk to a manager. She told me I had no compassion and a few other remarks and hung up on me. I called back and left a message to have a manager call me back so I can have the corprate address and explain my situation to them. Don't know if I will ever get a call back but am going to follow through with the Better Business Bureau.

We received one of these calls for a charge of $11.95 saying billed for transaction clearing, whatever that is.  Called the number, got an answering machine which in turn, turned me over to a fax machine.  Talk about a total scam, didn't want it, don't know who it's coming from and can't stop it, this is an outrage and it seems to be running rampant and someone is making a killing on this BS and no one seems to want to do anything about it!  Well, guess maybe I'll just send this info on to my State Representative and Senator

I have $19.00,35.00,and a 20.00 , on my phone bills..I donot know anyone in indiana nor in califorina..i live in idaho and im afraid to see next months bill. is their a place i can call for this?

Hi, just wanted to write in and thank you for the helpful information. I was also  billed through Verizon,from this number, 1-877-257-2455  and they could give me no help other than to call the number on the bill. I did, and recieved no response. I called the 210  number and the people there were very helpful and agreed to return the money and cancel the service I never asked for to begin with. This is an interesting new scam.  that is going around.

Call the F.C.C., Attorney General, and B.B.B. Also, call your regular rep for ATT and explain whats been going on. They can credit 3 months. Also, they can put a block on your line.

This is the second time a company has tacked on false charges to my AT&T bill.  The first time AT&T immediately credited me, and I called the company and confronted them.  Now a second company with the number 877-257-2455 has done the same thing!  AT&T is being a bit less helpful this time, saying I have to wait for the company to credit them.  
IMPORTANT - First of all, both bogus companies kept asking me for additional personal information.  DON'T GIVE IT TO THEM.  I told them they could look up all they needed from my phone number, which they already clearly had access to.  
ALSO - when I asked them what email address they had for me, without giving them my real one, they gave me the SAME email address (incorrect one) as the other company that scammed me, and the same story about me completing an online registration form.  Something is obviously fishy about this, and it's very interesting that two supposedly separate companies are both accessing my account the same way.   I agree with whoever asked WHERE IS THE FCC??

Same thing is happening to me.  AT&T says they can block 3rd party billing but that it's not 100%.  I am contacting my senator.  Will also likely begin harrassing the FCC.  This is unbelievable.  FYI, I called AT&T, had to call the other company and get confirmation number, then call AT&T back.  I got better results with the 2nd AT&T person I talked to, so if you are having a really hard time end the call and call them back again.  It seems to be a crap shoot as far as reaching someone who will help.  Good luck.

We received another unauthorized charge from the same place again. TRSCN CLRNG in the amount of $14.95 . I called AT&T and spoke with a representative for quite sometime. Through the AT&T representative we called TRSCN CLRNG. The AT&T Rep. talked with FETCH Representative first, then I
talked with her. First I did as the AT&T Rep. suggested and asked who authorized theses charges. Much to my shock it was my DEAD Mother-In-Law. She passed away well over six years ago. I was darn near in tears. I had called TRSCN CLRNG when I received this bogus charge the first time in June 2010. They have no record that I called "FETCH UNLTD" I told them whom I spoke with on 6/23/10 and what was said and the number I called. According to the FETCH Rep. that was not their number...Okay it is the only number on our bill. I knew from all the posting this wasn't probably over. I ended up doing as the AT&T Rep. suggested and contacted the fraud department at AT&T. They couldn't help, however they connected me with the Executive Office and a "Complaint Case" was filed. I should hear back from them in a day or two. This took hours to do and is just wrong. I had third party billing blocked but apparently that doesn't work all the time. Also I did as many of you suggested and got a confirmation number when speaking with FETCH Rep. Watch your bills!...it's only over when it is.

I just founf I have 3rd party charges on my bill from this company. When I called the 1-877-2757-4455 nuber I got a recoding asking me to punch in a series of digits. I did not authorize charges for this company.
