Thank goodness for Caller ID, I only answer numbers I know.  I did however decide to answer this one for fun and it was just a recording (boring, give me a real person to mess with).  Anyway, I won't be answering anymore calls from that number.

Numerous calls from this number.  I am a senior and it's really annoying.  I don't know who had this phone number before!!

Called again today at 4:30. "This is not a solicitation or telemarketing call. Our records indicate we have made several attempts to contact you without a response. Please contact us right away. Our toll free number is.."

Computer calling my cell looking for a Bradly Higgins every week.
This company is a parasite because my phone is a pre paid calling card.
Computer calls should not be allowed to be made randomly to annoy the innocent or otherwise.
Debt Collection Agencies should get their act straight and not come accross as total jerks then
maybe they would achieve better results.

They've been calling me for a while now, looking for a Stephanie.  Decided to call them back today, the guy was very nice and instantly put me on the DNC list.  No need to be rude to them sometimes it's a simple mistake and they have the names mixed up.  Since my name also started with an S and we have the same last name.

I have not owed a cent to anyone for 20 years,  I have no debt. Can't you all see that this is a simple scam.
I  also wish I could stop the annoying calls.

i too am being harrased by this compnay on my cell phone...all hours of day & night...do not owe any company money, in fact do not use credit.
this is just a way for the debt collection companies to get anyones info to see if they can collect their percentage of outstanding debts...desperate measures to secure the accounts they have promised to collect arrears on....
i have added them on my phones as "ignorant colletors * ignore"
then simply delete any of the messages they leave, which by the way are "please hold for the next operator" or "please call 1800, yada yada"

I don't owe anyone any money. I keep getting calls from this #. I never answer it. I even took call answer off my phone and it just rings and rings. SO pissed

Called again at 4pm today. Same message as always.

This is from the global credit collection incorporated. Go to http://www.globalcollection.net/Contact.aspx and tell them off. Contact their toll free number and yell at him to your hearts desire.

Left a voicemail asking for someone who doesn't live at my number. Telus' call screening is a joke - the number can't be blocked.

Guess it's worth calling back sometimes.   They were looking for someone I don't know.  We've had this number for 8 years, so I have no clue why they were calling me.  Hopefully they will stop now

Wishful thinking. More likely they just confirmed your number as live so you might get more calls. Never call these people back. If they are legitimate collections people and you actually owe someone money, there are other ways they can contact you such as by letter or in person.

BEWARE!  It's big phishing season again this fall for scammers!  This one, 8773373836 has plenty of online info revealing them to be phony -- they use sly tactics and other companies' names to try to get money from unsuspecting people.  

I allso had one of those weird "My name is _____ and I am calling you about your computer ..." calls today, the ones in which they try to get us to give out our private info online so we can be hacked and our finances drained.  "Not interested" I said and hung up.  

Going to be a busy fall dealing with this nonsense.

phoning for someone who's dead for over 2 years

I have Rogers Homephone and its online privacy and call manager. I have blocked the # 1-877-337-3836. I am all good now!

i am still getting this called again and i wish they should took of my phone number and they don't stop calling me .

Got a call from this number for an important matter and told me to press any key to continue (it was an automated woman) and when i did there was just a dial tone... I gotta stop answering numbers that are not from my area code

Block their calls from your phone -

your so right whenever they call meif I do call back I'm  they never identify who they  are!! The same number has been calling me all summer...and leaving me messages that it's urgent that I get back to them as soon as I can...REAL ANNOYING!!!! I have not called them back I'm been very busy working aalot of 9 to 10 hour shifts....If I do decide to call them back it's not going to be nice.....P.S. Thank god for call display
