- unknown| 1 replyI had the same guy "Joe DePace" calling me several times a day for weeks. He was telling me that I had a warrant out for my arrest because I am behind on my payment to CashNetUSA. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. I sent him over $100.00 and he told me that I was going to be served papers to be in court. I called CashNetUSA and they told me that it is a SCAM. He left me harrasing voicemails several times (which I have saved), all in which were telling me that I am in trouble with the law. Just a heads up to so many other people in the same situation....do NOT send them any money!!

- Truth Teller replies to smith,JI have the same thing going on!! Unfortunately I was stupid and paid Marval and Associates over 2 years for a pay day loan that I hadn't paid off in full. Marval threatened me and I fell for it. Now they are operating under the name of Audubon Financial Bureau and trying to collect on the same pay day loan as before!! They can't legally collect this old debt. DO NOT ever give them bank account information. BETTER YET....Don't even answer their calls!!!!
DON'T believe the BS from a couple of the posts above, they obviously work for these scammers. You CAN NOT be arrested for not paying a pay day loan!!!! IGNORE THEM!! - LCM replies to MikeHmm Sounds like "Joe" writing this.
- TERRORIZED IN NY!!!!| 2 repliesI ALSO RECEIVED AN E-MAIL FROM THESE PEOPLE AND SPOKE WITH A GUY NAMED JOSEPH HOLLAND WHO CLAIMED TO BE A PARALEGAL. HE ALSO STATED AFTER I PULLED SOME INFO OUT OF HIM THAT HE WAS GOING TO FILE A "WRIT OF EXECUTION" AGAINST ME TOMORROW MORNING BECAUSE I HAD COMMITTED BANK FRAUD(FOR STARTERS). HE THEN PROCEEDED TO QUOTE ALL THESE ILLEGAL TRANSACTIONS TO ME THAT I HAD COMMITTED. THEY WON'T LET YOU PAY THE DEBT WITH A CHECK IT HAS TO BE DONE ON A CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD AND THE $200 LOAN I GOT TURNED INTO OVER $3K BETWEEN THE FEES AND COURT CHARGES ETC. I WAS EXTREMELTY CONCERNED BECAUSE THEY HAVE ALL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION(BANK INFO, ADDRESS, SS# ETC). I PAYED THE $200 AND MADE THEM SEND ME A CONFIRMATION THAT IT WAS PAID BOTH BY MAIL AND E-MAIL. MY BANK IS AWARE THAT THERE SHOULD ONLY BE 1 TRANSACTION AND IF THERE IS MORE I WILL CLOSE THE ACCOUNT. I KNOW I KNOW I SHOULDN'T HAVE PAID IT BUT AS THE OTHER PERSON SAYS IT'S WORTH PAYING THE $200 DEBT RATHER THEN WORRY ABOUT WAGE GARNISHMENTS AND LEGAL & COURT FEES AND GET IT DONE AND OVER WITH ONCE IN FOR ALL!!!! MY ADVICE- JUST ASK ALOT OF QUESTIONS AND FORCE THEM TO GIVE UP INFORMATION BECAUSE YOU CAN ALWAYS CONTACT YOUR LOCAL STATE'S ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE AND LOCAL BRANCH OF THE FBI.. IF YOU REALLY FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE. THOSE AGENCY'S LIVE TO INVESTIGATE THIS STUFF. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

- Jami Martin replies to Mike| 7 repliesThat's funny... Any person with a 10th grade education could tell you that a pay day company is not legal in every state THUS meaning they can not go to a collection agency to get their payment. In fact all of them state on their agreement that they can not use places such as Audubon Financial Bureau, instead they will hire an attorney and they will deal with the matter through them, and that is all. I'm pretty much betting my mortgage that you are a representative from this foul company and really have no right to post on here.
For anyone else being tormented by this company... this is a scam.
-It is not licensed in any state.
-They violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act which is grounds for being sued by anyone who has the time to do that.
- They do not have the authority to put a hold on ANYTHING
- If they say they are going to bring you to court or serve you papers etc... they aren't. Those are things that legally have to be kept quiet and through a certified document.
- when they call you, ask them to send you a letter through certified mail (legally they have to, anything else is considered mail fraud which the person who sent it and the "company" will suffer financially from breaking the law and when you sue them) If they argue by saying they have to send it through email or whatever... they are just trying to scare you and buy themselves time.
DO NOT make to these guys. I know they are relentless [***] who get off on scaring you out of money but not matter what happens do not pay them. - Jami MartinThat's funny... - Joe debt professional| 1 replyWhy is it a scam if you know you didn't pay it back?? Are you people serious??? I worked in collections, it stinks, but if you get a letter showing you paid it, you can send that letter along with your bank statement to the credit reporting agencies and have it off your report. I don't get some of these comments. Some are right Am some are not.
- PLEASE READ!!!!!!| 3 repliesThis company buys debt from Debt Management Partners. The countries largest debt broker. All i can say is that when they tell you that if you don't pay you will be taken to your local county for fraud charges and/or "wage attachment" or judgement. NO YOU WILL NOT!!!!! REGARDLESS IF THE DEBT IS OWED AND YOU DID TAKE IT OUT, THEY WILL NOT AND CANNOT TAKE YOU TO COURT!!!! THAT IS A BLATANT LIE!!!!! ITS UP TO YOU IF YOU KNOW YOU OWE IT AND WANT TO PAY IT. BEWARE THOUGH!!!!! NEVER, EVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, GIVE OUT YOUR CREDIT OR DEBIT INFORMATION TO A FORMER EX CON!!!!! THAT'S PRECISELY, AT THE VERY LEAST 50 PERCENT OF THE EMPLOYEES ON STAFF AT THIS FACILITY. THEY CHANGE THEIR TOLL FREE NUMBER ABOUT EVERY 2 WEEKS. THAT'S WHY THERE ARE SO MANY NUMBERS ASSOCIATED TO THEM. TRUST ME PLEASE. SEND A CERTIFIED CEASE AND DESIST LETTER TO THE ABOVE ADDRESS WHERE SOMEONE POSTED THE JOB LISTING. THAT ADDRESS IS CORRECT. MAKE SURE YOU GET A SIGNED RETURN RECEIPT TYPE OF CERTIFICATION. TRUST ME!!!!!

- Glenn replies to PLEASE READ!!!!!!| 1 replyCoincidentally there was an employee released from the office today who was terminated for using profanity on the floor and lacking professionalism. Sadly, there are individuals that lack integrity, character and respect for their workplace. It is not uncommon for bitter former employees to disrespect the company that provided an opportunity for an income for him/herself, as well as their family. It is a shame that people with such little class cannot seize an opportunity for success and take pride in assisting financially distraught consumers. We pride ourselves on providing opportunities in a rather destitute demographic. Our headquarters is located in a struggling blue collar city that has been defined by our hard work and dedication. Shame on those who base their lives on negativity and consistent failure. How dare someone falsely characterize a company that strives to aid consumers in achieving financial growth and better our dying American economy. Most companies have various telephone numbers for efficient service and quality control in each department within the organization. We live in a technology age where consumers pay debts over the phone, online, etc. Consumers in this day and age are not necessarily inclined to "snail mail" money orders due to the efficiency and success rate of our pay by phone/online options. It is easy to make general characterizations about collection companies because they are "evil" and have a poor public image (they always have and always will). We create jobs, assist in economic recovery and any notion otherwise is simply nonsense. Thank you for reading and please consider there are two sides to every issue.
