Real number and it is BB&T.

Number called my cell and left no message. I googled it to see who it might be and found multiple scam reporting websites stating it is or isn't a fraudulent number for BB&T's fraud monitoring dept. I don't and never have banked with BB&T, and I haven't applied for any third party fraud watching services either.

Your post is 100% absolutely true and anyone in this thread saying that it is legitimate is a lying, scummy, dirt bag scammer.

I think this is a fake post. The number was on an invoice mailed to me supposedly from geek squad and they had this number listed as their number. I don’t have an account with any BB&T and I don’t have anything to do with the geek squad and I think it’s all fake and all these people they’re saying it’s real are liars. I looked up to BB&T and they don’t have any 877 numbers

Yes, this is apt to be an over-payment scam. If you call, crooks in India will want to get on your computer to "give you your refund". Then things get ugly and expensive. You can google search about these scams if you are interested.  Ignore this sort of email, text or call. Never call back and never let strangers get on your computer.

Same thing happened to me

It’s a fake number they got me today, I was tryina look at the vin on my truck and I spent a dollar on the website and then I got a call from them saying how mrsand llc tried to charge you 25 bucks. They also called me back from a number 8568003192. Beware they are tryina scam you.

You should probably sober up before trying to post again.

It is TRUIST fraud number.

Or it's a scammer claiming to be from Truist when they called you & from BB&T when they called that person waaay back in 2007.
