I receive a call from the same area code atleast once to seven or more times a week.. a recording Says that it is an important call for  (then another recording comes on and says some foreign name that don't even slightly sound familiar) then other recording continues to say dial this number. I am so sick of it. It is on my cell phone which really pisses me off

They're a collection agency hired by Verizon.

I will be more than happy to sue these [***], they threatened me, and they never revealed who or what they wanted. It began yesterday, 07/17/08

I received a call stating this is a time sensitive matter and it gave me a reference number to refer to when calling, and I was instructed to call before the end of the day. I called back and the phone just rings, it sounds like an answering service of some sort. I called again and a man answered and I gave him the reference Number that was given to me, and he asked for my name, I told him that depends on who he is, what he is selling, and who he represents and is? He became upset, and was rude, “he said then we will do what we need to do to you and hung up”. This sounds threatening to me, this cannot be allowed. I am on the no call list.  I have no idea what he wants, who he is, what Co. he represents, or what this call is about.

07-18-08, He called my cell, my land line, my sister in laws cell, he called me early this morning on all three Phone numbers. He has no right to call my sister in laws. I found out thru the internet that this is a collection agency for Verizon. I called Verizon and asked them about this collection agency; the representative stayed on the line with me and this collection agency. They were rude to her and told her she had no right to be on the line with them, she informed him that I didn't owe anything. He told her that he needed to contact his manager, we were on the line for more than 15 minutes and he never came back to the line nor his manager.

The Verizon representative connected me to them; I spoke to a Manual who claims to be the manager he denied that the Verizon Representative spoke to them earlier. He also lied stating that this collection was just given to them today this morning 07-18-08, then, why did he call yesterday? Lol, they lie. He claims that I owe them $29.40 which I do not owe, I informed him that I am on a do not call list, he said that they had a right under the laws to contact me because I'm in collection.

I lost the Verizon representative from the line, so I tried to call her but could not get in touch with her, I ended up calling Verizon and spoke to someone else who claims I owe $29.40 and she would not resolve the problem. Therefore, I called CPUC and they connected me to Customer advocacy and I filed a complaint against Verizon. Yes i have been receiving call from these people... They dont call me they call my GRANDMOTHER... I am very upset with these people and when i try to call them back and all i get is nothing it just rings and rings....

called with same message.called back they were looking for someone that was not connected with my address or phone number but someone that i know

I received a message on my answering machine that -have made several attempts to reach you. Important you call back today. 877-611-1815.
I called the number at 10-:00 p.m. and received a recording that the office was closed. We regret we cannot take your call.
I did a google search and found no information.

I work in a nursing home answering phones, I receive this call several times a day, and always get the recording " bla-bla-bla", when we get a call from a "recording" we are instructed to just hang up. It does get very annoying!!

I got the same call today, same number, important my "ass"  I called back several tme it rang and then when "busy" which makes no sense. this is my cell phone too so its just harassment to me.

I called it back a few times , then got a rep named mark, he said Oh you have been remove we wont call yu gain and then quickly hung up on me. This is [***] try not to bother with them, its marketing of some kind

3rd phone call fromm cca and has nothing to do with me.  I told cca snot to call during my 1st call.  The employee from CCA said and I am going to keep calling

If you think you backdoored them, check your credit report.  You paid Verizon and damaged your credit report needlessly.  By the way the collection company still gets paid the same if you pay Verizon directly, only they didnt have to provide you with a receipt, or talk to you, or even make sure that it was reported correctly.

Why would you want to speak with Mark after he said that he wouldnt call you again?  Are you that lonely that you want to have a conversation with him?  If it was marketing dont you think that he would have actually tried to sell you something?

An automated call left a message to call this number. Did not identify the company or leave any reference numbers.

I received a message on my cell telling me that I needed to return this message with a reference number that "they" have provided me and be ready to pay for possible fees.

I have no accounts other than electricty, therefore this is bogus!  I will not return this call.
