you many times. This is not a solicitation or sales pitch. Please call

Kept calling my work cell phone number, I finally picked it up and it said this was an important call for Anna C Hicks and if I was not Anna C Hicks, to hang up, and if I was to stay on the line. I was curoius, so I stayed on and the message continued, stating that by staying on the line I was acknowledging I was Anna C Hicks, and I bailed at that point, not knowing what kind of noise being Anna C Hicks could generate. I have had about 4 calls from these people in the last week, I never pick up (I don't give anyone my work cell number: I don't even know what it is!

They left a VM and said they were a collections agency and call back 1-877-611-1815 and a reference number. I am not in debt to anyone for any reason and when I called "your call is important to us" please wait. while I waited I googled it and am now going to ignore it. they can write me a letter and tell me what allegations of a specific nature. this sounds like some scam because they won't give out any details.

Got the call on my cell phone which is listed on the no call list and It was a machine with an urgent message for my EX-Husband!

called my home phone number and gave reference 7432372
and didn't try to talk to me -   when I called back I
was on hold for 5 minutes, and I hung up.

Same as all of the above.  Only, I have not called back and do not intend to do so.  If it is so important they would have a real person call me and answer any questions that anyone asks them.  Obviously some sort of scam.

IT is a debt collector but it is asking for a neighbor X, telling me (a recording) if I am not X to hang up or if I am X to call 877-611-1815.
Whatever I do (hang up or not - my answering machine takes the call) it is calling me for months every other day. This is really harassment, even If I knew X I would not call back. Please make complains at FTC at address:

Its a collection agency, works with verizon collection accounts

Call from the same company today wanting $2,000 or they would file law suit on an account that was never opened that they could not provide proof of debt or a credit card number.  Appears to be FRAUD!

Check your final bill and remember Verizon bills your service a month in advance and we had 100's of people that didn't receive credit on the final bill for the month paid in advance, looks like a class action suit is getting ready to start and the lawyers are dragging the collection agencies into who say they didn't know but I am sure it's a scam. Tens of thousand of people paid that month.

Says they are EEOCA a collection agency wanting to collect a debt. Ha!

I received a call from a company that said they were from EOCC saying we are asking for a specific person if you are not this person call a number and we will remove you from our list. If you are this person we are trying to collect a debt to call 877-611-1815 and give a reference number. I don't owe any debt when I tried to call back it just rings and no one answers. The funny thing is on the answering machine when it was giving the number back to call it sounded destorted and almost fake. I thought the message was fishy.

I have been receiving calls from this numbers for several days, saying that the call is for William Benson. If you are not William Benson, call back 877-611-1815. Finally, I called to see what this deal is about. Telephone rang for 5 minutes and no answer. I hung up.

I am going to report this to FBI and Defense Security Service as a national security issue.

Google search is very helpful to know the scam.

I got repeated calls with the same recorded message, which goes roughly as follows: "Hello, this is a message for [some weird name I've never heard before]. If you are not [same weird name], please hang up and call 877-611-1815 to remove this phone number from our records. If you are [same weird name], please continue to listen to this message. By continuing to listen to this message, you acknowledge you are [same weird name]. There will now be a three-second pause. [NO PAUSE] This is EOCCA. This is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. Please contact us about an important business matter at 877-611-1815."
I should add I've had the same phone number for decades and no one else has used it during that time. So, either these people are completely incompetent or just plain dumb. Or maybe it's a scam.

These people called me.  They left a message on my machine.  Unfortunately I listened to the whole thing because I didn't understand what they were talking about.  However according to their message they now believe they have reached the person they are looking for.  I have no idea why they are calling me.  I have no debts.

i Got a call from 877-611-1815 they just said if i was Jean N Smith to call back that number and gave me a refrence #  all they said is They were CCA and had an important message for me, I am not Jean n Smith and do not know how they got my Phone Number i Googled the Number and it says its either a collection Agency for Verizon or some  or Correction Corp of America something to do with Prison and said a prisonioner could be ramdonly dialing number to get money out of people. I hope someone cahn get to the bottom of this it's annoying especially that ijm not the person they are looking for.

Got a voice mail from 877-611-1815 looking for someone that has never lived here and said that it was a important matter and needed to call back not really knowing what this was in regards too.  Called back and informed them of this person never living here and asked how they got this number and they said through a tracer or something and was not very clear. They said they was a debtor trying to collect a debt and said they would take this number off the list. Very odd phone call and hope not to get anymore.

Please be sure to file complaints against them with the BBB, Attorney General, FTC, and FCC. All can be done for free online.  Also feel free to repeatedly call them and tell them EXACTLY what you think of them
