Same here.  I have experienced the same unwanted calls and letters from this collection agency of verizon.  I have paid in full my final bill months ago and never missed a payment.  I just canceled my voice service but still I received these calls and letter of collection.  I have check my balance with verizon - it is zero balance and still they sent my bill to this collection agency not even waiting for a month to pass.

this number has called, saying they are looking for someone who lives in another apartment. I tried calling back, and was immediately put on hold....

I received a voice mail from this number.They were looking for someone with the same name as my mother in law, which there are a few women with the same name in our area.  They did not identify their company, and I don't know how they got our number, or why they would even assume that we get involved in someone elses financial matters. I am glad you all took the time to write something.

Got the message on my answering machine too. They were looking for information on the whereabouts of someone who is way indirect from me. Apparently these companies go on people search and will contact friends and relatives to fish for information on someone they are trying to collect on. They know the person doesn't live there, they just want you to do the dirty work of tracking down them. I asked what it pertains too and they wouldn't tell me. I said My information is not free. Not giving up information on someone if they can't do the same.

So received a call at my house from Destiny today and said she was calling regarding a case with me and that if anyone would like to help her find my where abouts please call her at 877-611-1815.   Also, she called me at work today and I told her I was not going to pay for a bill when Verizon forgot to cancel the account and I still have not received a final bill.    Dumb [***].

We get a message most every day from this number.

I got a call from EOS CCA and they advised they were a collection agency for Verizon. They are not!! I repeat, they are not!! I just got off the phone with Verizon's complaint department and the only collection agencies they use are ER Solutions and CBE Group. This is a scam. I am contacting my Attorney General's office and I have notified Verizon what is going on.

This company is calling my job.  They are threatening me for a garnishment.  Who can I call to get some help with this matter.

Everyday for a week I had a voice mail from this number saying it was an important matter and to call back today,,,, Constant harrasement

6/20/11: Received an automated message from "Kerry Smith" who is looking for any information on a former brother-in-law who apparently is in collections.  Asked me to call them back at 877-611-1815.  I will not, of course, because I don't care.  But, I do know that this is a collections company.

A message was left on my voicemail.

It was a robot voice that pronounced a name similar to mine and gave only the first letter of the first name.  Sounded like a robot trying to read a past phone book listing.  

The robot identified itself as "EOSCCA"  and asked for the listener to return the call concerning a collection matter. No details given.

The number that the robot dialed is a private number, has been on the do not call list for 3 years, and has never been used for billing purposes.  So the only possibility for collection would be from Verizon - service from the past.  However, my final invoice from Verizon  (about 6 months ago) showed nothing due.

I will wait for one more call from these people and will report them to the appropriate authorities at that time.  

I do not want any robot calls to my numbers because they disrupt my work.

they called my parents (who I have not lived with in 30 years?!?!?) saying they had to reach me for a personal matter.  My parents would not give them my phone number and told the caller to give them HER number and they'd give it to me.  After reading all these posts I'm glad I dind't call back.  I do not owe money for anything.... don't know anyone in prison and most definitely do not know anyone named Sally!

i am getting calls about my "estranged" sister owing money

my calls are from carrie smith 877-611-1815, also, asking for information about my estranged sister. I kept getting hang ups around the same time for about 4 days in a row, so i picked up one evening and thats who was calling. I think if you let the call go to voice mail, they just hang up. My concern is I am unlisted and on the "PA do not call list", yet i am getting calls daily.
