Walter Cronkite replies to grammar graffito
An error in grammar or not grammatical. "Grammatical error" is not grammatical! It either is grammatical or it is not. An that's the way it was...  Now on to the ellipsis. You always use 3 periods to indicate an ellipsis. Not 2 not 10, always 3... Now, let loose the hounds!

Actually, that whole sentence is a cluster %&&%. The following version would be a more suitable choice.  I think most people Smary Pants age tend to overlook a few things. Take a nap!

I think most people my age have lost all desire to even consider paying attention to what they are actually communicating by using the wrong word, etc.

    stacy replies to Jamie
really middle of the night huh?  there are laws out there and as far as I know they arent allowed to call after 8p, as there are reasonable laws out there to protect you.  also they have no way of knowing if you are going to be someone who loves what they have to offer or are not interested...unless you nicely tell them you are not interested. Im sure telling them once will do the trick.  bottom line,  #1 it's a free call.  #2 It takes 5 seconds for you to tell them you are not interested and #3 the person on the other line is just doing their job..which is great considering theres many freeloading bums out there.  #4 there are bigger things to worry about in life or other places to displace your anger other than tking it put on someone who is simply offering you a service.

    Old man replies to spellchecker
So I came to this website to find out if the person calling is who they say they are.  My biggest problem is an unknown number id coming up. I'd it's sprint calling me, it should say sprint not unknown. Sprint child train people who call a better understanding  of english. the person didn't understand the concept of caller id. I'll have to come out here more often though. The lessons in   grammer, spelling and hilarity were priceless. Focus grasshopper, eeg why you called... Andremember, people email from their phone so spelling and grammer can be difficult and people forget they aren't texting sometimes.thanks for the laughs  everyone!!!

    [***] replies to Megan
Megan, if they don't want to call why would they have that job? They have no problem being annoying and irritating just to scam a buck out of people. If they want to earn a living they should try a legitimate job. I would guess you work in this field by your defense. When people want to buy stuff, they go look to buy it, they don't want crap pushed down their throat when not even looking for it.

Spell checker sounds like some kind of psychotic, drunken, ex-high school English teacher who can't seem to focus on the topic of conversation.

    Gilbert replies to sara
Sara, I'd like to ask you about your feet. You do have feet is this correct? Good, good, glad to hear that. Well I'd like to send you a free pair of my old tennis shoes. Simply try them for 30 days and if you like them, keep them for $40 or simply return them for a small $5 service charge. Now what was your address so we could complete this order? Oh, you don't want the shoes? Well I can also offer you a special deal on my old socks which saves you 20% over other competitors selling used socks. When can I go ahead and ship those out to you?

Yes I think you can agree that you didn't want the shoes, didn't ask for the shoes and are totally annoyed by now.

Telemarketing is not a job, it's a crime. You're a douche if you work in this profession.

Got a call from this number yesterday, with the caller indicating she was from Sprint.   Her grammer was broken... sounded llike an accent from South America or some where similar....
Wanted to know my PIN and or answers to my security questions.   Hadn't even told me why she was calling first.... Just wanted the information for 'security purposes.'   That told me right there it was not a call from sprint, but some phishng scam.   Beware all.

Ok, now that I know who's calling, I added the number to my contacts with the name
"solicitor sprint".  That way I know not to answer when they call.
