- JerryThey are a complete scam. Once I mentioned that I was recording the phone calls and forwarding them to the local PD and FBI they hang up. The next day a male called me I told him the same thing and told him the FBI, State Atty, General, and FTC know about them and mentioned to 'real' business name of Ezelle Williams & Associates he hung up. This was back in Dec. and I have heard no more. BTW, I have forwarded all phones calls recordings, returned certified letter they refused, and all other information I have to the local PD, FTC, state AG and FBI. Just waiting for an update now.

- JCRascalThey left a voice-mail message on my phone last Friday, which I did not pick up until today. The woman said that she had my garnishment paperwork for my employer in front of her, all ready to send out if they did not hear from me immediately - all of which is fascinating, since I have been out on disability since 1999, 11 1/2 years!

- judi replies to Gale WalkerThey called me saying they were from a police dept in NYC. Its all a scam just threaten them back. I actually had alot of fun with this once I knew it was a scam. I kept caliing them asking for there address and more info then I called the local police where they were and was told there was no such address. I then called them back and just kept bothering them till finally the girl said she would remove my number lol. They do not like it when you give it back to them.

- Rachael replies to SusanTrust me this is a scam. They have called me too and also called my mom and daughter asking for me. # years ago I applied for a pay day loan and was denied becasue my bank account was to "new" for them to process loan. Last year i started getting these calls to my work, home and family members. At first i thought did they give me this loan and I wasn't ware. I didn't think I could be that out of it not to remember this. SO I checked with my bank and they were the ones that actually told me it was a scam. They had all my info because I entered it on the computer when I orginally applied for the loan. Anyway I called police and made a report. They called back again and I told them I filied a compliant. They stopped calling for awhile. Then the calls started again at work. Everyone at my job told them I no longer worked there which is what the police told me to say. They stopped calling my job after that.
- Sandie877-855-1624 Ms. Garcia called and said I didnt pay back an internet pay day loan. I have never taken out an internet payday loan. This is a scam. They may have some of your personal information but do not give them any information. The only thing you need to do is to report them to your state's attorney general. Other phone numbers that I've reported are 760-262-3980 Attorney James Parker (yeah right) and 877-258-1188.

- UnknownI have received the same phone calls all of you have. PDLR claiming that I owe them money from a debt they cannot provide the original information on. Truth is they cannot garnish your wages without a court order. You have to be served with legal documentation before they can take any legal action. Also, according to the fair consumer act website, a legimate collection firm not only has to provide you with proper documentation but they also have to have all the information on the debt owed. You can also look up the statue of limitations on debts owed, it varies from state to state, but the over consensus on a debt contract for a PDL is 3 years from the time the debt defaults. Hope this information helps. I did some homework.
