This DNI or D & R recovery called me from 877-855-1624.  They tried telling me that i had a pay day loan through mypaydaytoday.com   i've never done a payday loan, especially not over the internet.  They have all of my info, old address, current company, previous and current check account numbers.  i called this mypaydaytoday.com and verified that i have never had a loan through them.  i also have bank statements from the account number this woman gave me and there is no record of a loan or deposit into my account.   i have filed a complaint with the ohio attorney generals office as well as a police report.  this company or someone with this company is running a scam.  or as my bank told me it could be someone that worked for my bank or another collection agency that stole my information and is trying to get money out of me.

i have been receiving calls from a Mrs. Brown about a payday loan they say i took out in 2005. i told her i did not recall any such transaction and asked her to send me copies of the paperwork. she said she did not have any paperwork because it was transferred from a collection company. she did know my former bank and former address but said if i gave her my current checking account information, she would not garnish my wages. i told her i would not give her any personal information until i received official paperwork, its a cycle. she will give me the paperwork only if i give her my account info. i told her i would contact the attorney general's office and call her back. she is calling my work number daily.

I received a phone call on my work phone from a Ms. Enzo @ DNI or D&R recovery stating that I took out a $1000.00 payday loan from one of the lenders from a mypaydaytoday.com in 2007. I was instantly annoyed because I have in rough times had to take out a pdl and never would I qualify for something of that magnitude. I would first off have to had made a large salary and if I did, I don't think I would be in need of these services but never from this lender. The caller started naming off my parents address and then references. She gave me my moms name as a reference and then the name of my current boyfriend who I didn't meet until Aug 2008. This is what really made me suspicious. Also, she gave me my current employer which I didn't start until May 2008. She also started asking me to verify the last 4 of my social and then tried inputting the routing number of the bank that this supposedly went into and "surprise", nothing came up. So she then told me that she would "flag" my account so that the wage garnishment wouldn't go into effect. I don't believe anything that is going on because believe me I would have remembered taking out a 1000.00 loan. I asked her to provide me proof of a judgement and garnishment and she said that she didn't have anything but that my name was forwarded over from the parent company. From reading all of these post, I am convinced that this is a scam for sure. I will report this to the Attorneys General for sure.

I got a call from 203-409-3442 and they asked me to call them back at 877-855-1624.  The 203 number comes back to Old Greenwich CT, but the lady I spoke with at the 877 number gave me an IL address.  They state "they" are going to garnish my wages regarding the "check fraud at a federal level."  When I asked WHO they were she couldn't give me any information.  All she kept saying was that I wrote a bad check and that I owed almost $2000.  And she wanted a credit card number to secure my account.  I told her that I don't have a credit card and she told me that I should immediately go to Walmart and get a pre-paid debit card.  She told me the company would garnish my wages if some sort of arrangement wasn't made.  The problem is that I paid this bad check over a year ago.  I kept asking her for more information - she didn't have anything other than I wrote a bad check at some point and that the company wasn't going to come after me if I didn't settle the account right then and there.  It's total BS.  If they call back I won't give them the time of day.  I told her with all the fraud in the world that I wanted something in writing and she said she couldn't do that.  Well then I'm not paying you a dime.  Sorry!

i was contacted by this same company stating they would garnish my wages for a loan i never took out, my question is did they garnish your wages and what was the result, and who may i contact? my email is m.marolf@yahoo.com

I currently am receiving these calls threatening garnishment, etc. I did have the bank account they claim this loan was deposited to, it is very disturbing. I have called and told them to stop harrassing me, I am notifying our AG and hope to be left alone.

I got a call at my parents house saying that my wages will be garnished if I did not call the 800 number.  My mother got really upset because they called her instead of me and left the message on the machine.  Is this a legit company?  I did take out a payday loan a few years ago and shouldn't I get something from the company prior to garnishing wages?

I received a voicemail from 213-291-7977 and a lady asked for me to call her back at 877-855-1624 ext. 234.  She says I am to call her for she has a wage garnisment on me and if I am that person she is asking for.  Then said good luck and hung up.  I agree if there is no court order how can you just garnish someone wages like that.  Also if you dont leave the company who you are with or the description of the call how would we know what it is for.  I am scared would they really garnish our wages.

These calls are coming up to three times a day at our office. The person that they're asking for has been dead for six years. the message is asking me to call 1-877-855-1624, it is a very important matter and wages for this deceased person will be garnished.
I am trying to call them back to let them know that they're absolutely wrong in calling our office, but after ringing several times, a message comes on that the voice mailbox you are trying to leave a message on is full, and the line disconnects.

I received a message from a Maria of D& R Recovery and left this number 877-855-1624 on my work number stating that they had a wage garnishment order and that I should call her back to discuss my options.  I have not called her back,.............but I intend to call her back and tell her what HER OPTIONS ARE IF SHE CALLS MY WORK PLACE AGAIN.

They've started calling my office too... I let everyone (including the owners of the company) know who they were and what they were threatening to do... another co-worker has this same problem and sued the debt collectors (the Indians called her too, but she sued the Tri-Fi people in Buffalo NY and she won).  She's given me all the numbers and email addresses to the AG's offices as well as the FTC and the Secret Service (yep! the secret service)...  They try to be intimidating and scary and it's just stupid. I will never send them a dime.. and let them even think about garnishing.... I'll have a lawsuit slapped to them so fast it will knock their teeth out of their heads...

I have been getting harrassing calls from a Miss Enzo at 877-855-1624 x 227 of  DNI Recovery the same set up as above they are going to garnish my wages - that I took out a payday loan in 2005 and the account was closed.  I have the same checking account as I did in 2005, I never took out a payday loan and I have asked from some sort of documentation with regards to this loan.  I have given my fax number as well as my e-mail address and was not provided with proof that a loan was ever taken out.

They call my work, the left a message with a co-worker that my pay was going to be garnished - how do I handle these calls?

Yes, my place of business was called and they threatened to garnish wages and that they wanted to send paperwork. Well, my wife called and they wanted my Social Security no. Confirmed, well my wife said hell no and they named off an address that was not even mine. It is a scam because folks have tried to scam me before and it was the same pattern, trying to get my Social.

I was just wondering have they tried to garnish your wages? I just refused to pay because they are so full of it and what they say doesn't make any kind of since.

Well Pink here it is a few months later and DNI recovery decided to call back...this time it was check fraud again but it wasn't my name they left message for on my VM...their so stupid they dont even know who they're calling....previous to this call today a few weeks ago I started getting calls from a different number and they were claiming to be DC Financial Svc and were talking about the 25 % wage garnishment...they sounded alot like the first group calling that was supposed to be Ezelle Williams and Associates....It seems like for me they call a one or two days in a week then it will be at least another 2-3 weeks before i get another call. You would think after 4 months of no answers and no callbacks they would give it up

After reading your post it sounds exactly what these clowns have been doing to me for months now.
It all began last year, Ezell Williams & Associates called threatning abour wage garnishment - I know it was a SCAM from the onset - since there was no judgement presented to our office for an order of wage garnishment. They call every 2-3 weeks apart with the same script. I thought I was rid of them but NO a month or so later they re-surfaced this time as DC Financial Services - same thing wage garnishment blah blah blah .... I haven't heard from them again until today - as DNI Recovery but now it's for check fraud.. on the federal level (WHAT?) call back within 5 days ... etc.. All I can say, Chantelle Dickey is at it again... google her name and you will come across some interesting information. There is a website called www.collectiontechnology.net where these "so-called" collectors buy and sell consumer information - even that website is calling her a FRAUD....  Well, let's wait and see when the next call can be..... I am now reposting to the proper authorities in my state since they are now claiming to be a Federal Agency!!!!

I am sure this was pd in 2005, was never contacted by any one until 6-10 (five years later), I have long since discarded this info that it was pd, and they will not send any documents to me. The parent company is TG Corp, any help would be appreciated**TB

A person by the name Ms. Collins asked me to respond inmediately regarding garnishing my wages.  I explained to her she got the wrong person and refused to confirm a social security number.  To their surprise, I told them I work for an attorney from the supreme court and immediately the woman stayed quiet.  Someone should stop these annoying persons from commiting these type of fraudelent phone calls.

I received similar calls earlier this year.  I spoke to our local FBI office. The FBI agaent said to have the company call the FBI office next time they called me.  Once I told them that. They never called me back.

Now, six months later, I have this D&I Recover calling. Here we go again!!!
