 Tell them you have been receiving unsolicited calls from 877-889-2024, they will verify some personal info and let you know why they have been calling (probably warranty expiring).  Let them know that you are not interested in extended warranty, and that you wish to be removed from their calling list (takes about 5 mins).

1-877-889-2024 keep calling me several times a week but do not leave a message.  I want to be removed from this call list NOW!!!

Have received a couple of calls from this number about
warranty on my appliances. I asked if it was Sears and she said yes.
She had totally wrong info on my washer/dryer and also asked about
my built-in vac. It wasn't even purchased at Sears and she was trying
to sell me additional warranty on that too.
P.S. Think she was calling from India.

1-877-889-2024 called over 50 times in one week!!!! just found out it was Sears Canada Inc. about some warranty crap calling now to give them hell.o ya i was on the DO NOT CALL list since it started and they still harass me.

It has been SEARS CANADA INC calling me 144,000 times ;) they do 'call outs' to past customers regarding the littlest things, 10 year old tv's, stoves and old freezers, etc.

CALL THEIR 1 866-491-2247 NUMBER, it will take only 48hrs to take you off their calling list which is great, considering.

I found out the number belongs to a Manitoba based company named Allstream. They are some kind of communication provider. Their website is www.allstream.com. They're probably a subcontractor for Sears Canada.

Well I tracked these idiots down as their automated bot was calling and hanging up on me several times a day.

It is Sears and here is THEIR number to be removed from this list.

They will remove you from solicitation if you call that number.

Received this call at 9 pm and no answer when returned

They have been calling several times a week, sometimes deadair, sometimes a person wanting us to buy extended warranty or credit card insurance. We have indicated we do not want it and to not call again. Will try the Sears # listed above to try get on he no call list.

as was suggested. The lady on the phone was quite nice.
I told them that I was receiving these calls from them about extended warranty and asked to be removed from their list.
She asked for my phone #, and pulled up my name as soon as I gave it to her.
A few seconds later, she said no problem, it's done, you've been removed.
YEAH!!!
We'll wait to see if I get anymore calls.....

1 877 889 2024 is getting annoying

Thank you for the info! Just called Sears Customer Advocacy Department at 1-866-491-2247 and removed my number from the list. I kept getting these calls every half an hour, with silence on the other end.

I definitely won't shop at Sears again. I think it's pathetic approach to doing business.

On the phone with Sears Canada now.  They know NOTHING of this.  They (at least here in NS) call directly when warranties and things are up.

I just rec'd a call from this # - I am in Alberta, and it is 9PM.  Found this article on the web and called 1-866-491-2247.  The woman that answered advised that the "telemarketers have already left for the day and that there must be something wrong with their machine, as it's not supposed to be calling this late at night".  In any event, I asked to have my # removed from their listings for both maintenance agreements and credit card insurance.  She assured me I would be removed from their listings.

Update on previous entry...they are still calling.  Have now spoken to 2 different people, both assuring my # has been removed from their listings.

According to Do Not Call registry, "If you do not want to be called by a telemarketer making an exempt call, you can ask to be put on the telemarketer’s internal do not call list. Every Canadian telemarketer is required to maintain such a list and respect your wishes not to be called".  

We do have a past business relationship with Sears, however, I still filed the complaint and used the "company is refusing to remove number" section.

We'll see if that works!

Thanks for the info.  They are driving me crazy - 6 calls per day and never anyone at the end of the phone.  I called the number you gave below and requested to be removed from their calling system.  Appreciate the tip.

omg they just called me 2x within the last hour!! and i don't even shop at sears, what the hell?

Has anyone actually seen a result from taking the steps listed?  I've just called sears to have my number removed....but I'm curious as to if anyone has found that working!
