Rang at noon today.  No message left.   Thanks to others who have been bothered, turns out to be Sears, probably about maintenance on lawn mower, washing machine, dryer, or snowblower.

Thank you for posting that number to call to get off the Sears Maintenance call list. I bought a new dishwasher from them a week ago and that is when these calls started up on my cell phone 4-5 times a day 1 ring nobody on other end.  Finally getting taken off the call list and got an apology

Several calls in a day, no one is on the other side when answered the call.
Repeatedly receiving this call is very frustrating.

I have been getting constant phone calls at all times of the day and night from this number.  It says "Toll Free Service" 877 889 2024 on the phone.  When I answer there is noone there.  It's frustrating and inconvenient to say the least.  When I called the number today, it was Sears!  They were soliciting for an extended warranty.  I had already declined this warranty!  
I would like this number blocked from my phone please.
If Sears is calling their name should come up on my Call Display and there should be someone on the other end.

I don't think they have fixed their system issue. From the past posts it looks as though this has been going on for a VERY long time.
I've been receiving these annoying calls as well for the past 3 weeks & when I answer the phone there's no one there. I called the number posted by a previous person. As it ended up, it was Sears so I had my name removed from their contat list.

Seriously are you that much of an idiot?!?!? SERIOUSLY!! It is Sears you two brain-celled fool. I think you probably work for Sears & are just trying to defend their unreputable behaviour of harassing people with relentless calling practices!

I keep getting calls from 877-889-2024 twice or three times a day for about 4 weeks.  It happened before several months ago.  Strangely enough these calls are made a few days after I received a call from Sears.  Please help.

I've been getting calls from that 877-889-2024.
There is never anybody there when I pick up the phone.
I will not speak until the unidentified caller speaks and Identifies themself.

I emailed Sears customer support
- they told me for privcy reasons I had to call (whatever the 800 number was).  
I replied - no - I never phoned Sears asking to be harassed daily with 4-6 phone calls at all hours.

Take me off.
They replied they couldn't - because of privacy.

I replied they had already violated my privacy by calling me without my consent.
I then stated I had their email refusing to comply with my Do Not Call Request,
and would be filing a DNC complaint with the CRTC.


5 minutes later I got an email back saying my account was flagged for no contact.

Tomorrow (Feb 27) is the test.

I'm not here to jump through their hoops, they started this & they will finish it.

Quit phoning, You are so annoing you can"t even to pick before you hang up. Some good company.

repeated phone calls from this number with no messages. The other day I answered another long distance number 1-250-483 -0361. It was another telemessage stating that they are not a telemarketing service and that they have been trying to call me and that I should call them back at 1-877-889-2024 but they left no other information. It is extremely annoying. At least they could be honest and state where the call is coming from and the purpose of their call.

Just called, she said she would remove my number.  Never bought anything from Sears, AND we are on the Do Not Call list.  Time will tell if it works.

yep,sears, forget the conspiracy, they use a call centre in the Phillipines, I've ordered warranty service through them with no problem, other than like a lot of centers they are not completely up to date on every bit of info. (Dosen't mean you shouldn't use discretion in info sharing), and no it's not harassment either.

I did call this number & confirm that it is Sears & find this a pain in the ass that they call more than 2 times a day & never leave a message & have only dead air if I pick up.

Don't call anymore

I called the customer number on the back of my Sears card yesterday and they assured me they would cancel this annoying phone calls. However they did not do that, because they have to send an e-mail to the department making the calls. I was still getting calls last night and today so I called the number Sears suggested above 1-866-491-2247 and the man I spoke with said that no e-mail was sent and that he would do it today. He said that I should not be getting any more calls after today. I can only hope. He gave me another number that you can call also to cancel the calls 1-800-211-2111. Good luck!

The only items that we ever buy at Sears are appliances, but if they are going to keep using automated calling, dead air, etc, then I think that we will definitely be shopping elsewhere!  Some of the posts above have excellent ideas, such as calling the Sears' Canada head office.  I think I'll do that!

Same number keeps calling. 1877-889-2024. leaves no message.

1- 877-889-2024 has called me everyday for the last 2 weeks. Never leaves a message. I don't answer, and never will!
