Numerous calls at all times of day and early evening from 888-322-8209. Did not recognize # so did not answer. No vmail left.

Today marks 24 times in 2013 that I have gotten a call from these pests.

CallerID  "Out of Area" or "Unavailable"

5 times in 1 minute they have called - no message.  Agree - do not answer any calls that you do not recognize.

sick of these scumbags.verizon just ditches you on their automated computer system.that does it. Verizon just lost 4 generations of customers.if more people did this and they lost piles of money,you would see these charity crooks busted in a flash.

Call every couple of days.  No message.

EFA coaxed me into setting up a web page. I thoguth it was a great idea until I learned all about the internet....now, google my name and there it is along with my epileptic master status.   These guys never did anything positive, all they did was ask for money.

I got a call from the same number, but the caller ID was "SAVERS" not the Epilepsy Foundation.  Note that I have donated clothing and household goods to the Epilepsy Foundation, but I'm sure if this number has anything to do with that charity.

Very sad that this is a legitimate charity. I finally got through to these people at the Wilmington building.
The woman who answered will attest that the calls come from a "call center'  in other words, paid telemarketers. The 888-322-8209 is sometimes turned on, as I reached them at 4:00 p.m. I told the woman it is a very aggressive and annoying marketing campaign and that the only thing they are doing is ruining the good they are trying to do. The following info is for anyone else who would like to contact them and tell them the same thing..maybe if enough people call, they will hire another telemarketing company. I also told her that the "telemarketer" doesn't even bother to request a donation, they just hang up,  so their money is being thrown out the window and gives me no incentive to donate to them ever again.
Here is the info if you should care to complain.  That 888-322-8909 does work sporadically and the other number works also. There is also an email listed if you prefer not to speak.

Calls every day and no one answers

I have kept their mailer because frankly, it will be convenient to have them come and pick up when I clean out my house.

Agreed. When you pick up the phone, you are only letting them know they have reached a working number. These calls are made by robo-dialers.

They don't learn

Epilepsy Foundation. STILL hassling us. I've lost count of the number of calls.

Whatever you do, do NOT give money to charities like this who use telephone solicitation.

1-888-322-8209 is the Epilepsy Foundation. I had it blocked so it rings once and stops ringing, but I can still see the number. After counting five calls made to my home today, all coming from this same number, I called it a few minutes ago and was connected to someone in "donations." I told the woman that five calls in one afternoon was excessive and she apologized profusely and promptly removed my number from their call list.  I'm all for donating to worthy charities, but for this reason, they won't be receiving anything from me.

Rings 4 times and no message, just another Robo-Dialer calling my house on a Sunday night.....

Rec'd the call from 888-322-8209..this is not the first time. They called @8:30 pm and I did not answer it.  I do not know where the 888 call is from so I did not answer it.  Seems they called before.  I called the # back and asked that my name be removed. This did not work.  I am on the 'do not call register'.  How to stop these annoying phone calls?   Anyone!!!
