yeah, my friend has received call on my name,left message for me to call them back.i dont have to pay anybody any money.so wonder why they are calling me.how come they call me on my friends number??really they are giving me really hardtime.any comment?

they have called repeatedly to our home # looking for my step son, he's signed up for multiple cell phone contracts, then stops paying them, it's no wonder they're looking for him, if you're not going to pay your bills, you deserve to get harrassed. This company is not a scam, they are a collection agency and get deliquent accounts turned over to them

a gentleman calls my # looking for my wife; right away I know that it's a collection agent. I ask what this is pretaining to, and the gentleman; Abraham seems reluctant to even provide the purpose of his call. I say my wife is at home, he demands her cell phone.
abraham is extremely rude with me, then I get a call from my wife, who is in tears. we just had a baby 2 months ago, she is on mat leave and he starts calling her down to the dirt, because of a bill that she had been paying off that has landed in DNA's hands. he actually hung up on her.
Next step, contact our lawyer. this guy even insulted me but saying "go help out your wife and make some money" yup, it's time to contact a lawyer.
4 calls in 15 minutes before I finally picked up starting this entire experience.

i was wondering what this # is all about and realized it was going to a collection agency

called them back:
- advised me of bill i owed
- made arrangements and paid

i dont know what the big deal is with the rest out you complaining about getting calls, obviously you guys owe money

go pay it and talk to them, it's only a voice on the phone

i just got a call from Tiffany and she was mean and angry and threatening.
i just came in from one of the worst days at work. And got her message!
This site has definitely made me realize they are a joke and not to be taken seriously.
Now i think i am going to call them back and vent out all of my frustration on the person Tiffany. I wonder how much abuse she can take from me before she hangs up. I just came in from a REALLY BAD DAY at work.

forgot to mention that i have NO outstanding bill with anyone. I am the type of person the does not have outstanding debt in general. I am very aware of what i owe and when etc. This is a total scam.

caller phoned and asked for my husband. said that he needs to call her back at 1888-395-1147 x 6218, nme SONIA she would not of course tell me what the reason for the call was or what the company was even about. thx for the website info i will check that out. i told her my husband isnt home often and we are in bc so the change in time is a factor she said thats "fine" i asked "dont u want him to call you" she then said she would send a letter. what the hells going on. should we NOT trust this?

Gosh! im not the only one... i just got a call from this number today and left a message. I was wondering what the heck is this? i called back from this ext.6276 but nobody answered. same as you guys i don't know what is she talking about. I hope some authorities would really do something about this company or whoever own this number.

I got a call from a "Nick" at this number ext 6232, i didn't call him back within his deadline. When I finally did he told me I was to late and he screwed my credit hard and forwarded the matter to a much more agreesive company. they call me 5 times a day and are very rude to anyone who answers the phone. I wish I knew what I know now, could of had this resolved and maintained my credit rating. I don't know what I'm going to do now. If these guys call you, listen up to what they are saying, it may hurt you in the end if you don't.

The people who work for D & A behave in the stereotypical collection agent manner. They are aggressive, rude, obnoxious, and use insults and threats in an attempt to intimidate. This treatment is completely unacceptable regardless of the circumstances. Regardless if an actual debt is owed or not, people do not deserve to be treated in this degrading manner.

All of the people who have the unfortunate experience of having to deal with D & A, should realize that 'respectable' companies such as TD CANADA TRUST, among many others, have passed an uncollected debt to this company.

I would be astounded if these well-known companies which rely on satisfied customers, are not aware of the reputation this company has. How do you feel about their customer service now?

Complaints regarding the collection agency should be made to the well-known, high-profile companies which knowingly gives this collection agency the information used to begin the seemingly endless use of abusive and harassing behavior. The general public should be made aware of the 'behind the scenes' actions of these businesses which rely on the perception that they are courteous, pleasant and happy to serve.

Keeps calling me and I am not who they are asking for?

Got a call from Melissa from D and A at my elderly mother's house, where I don't live.  She said I had left this number as a 'reference'. Yeah, right.  I have never even heard of this company before, I have no outstanding debts and have no intention of calling back solely because her first phone call started with a lie.

I urge all of you being harassed by this or any other collection company to make yourselves aware of the prohibited practices(practices collectors are not allowed to engage in) in the Collections Agencies Act, the link is below.

Collection agencies routinely engage in prohibited practices because they assume most people are not aware of them, as well as the remedies under them, which is true unfortunately.

The people at D & A are all uneducated and have no way to go in life, the supervisors all need to be reported, they have a privacy acts that said not to discuss client situation with anyone, if only TD can put a undercover in that place it will be disappointed with the out come of the supervisors name as kim pottery who have no respect for herself or anyone else, she talk about everyone and keep for getting to take a look at herself, she hates her co-work china man her remarks about him his mouth look like he eat woman private part, that was so rude. I am not sure how she be came a supervisor put her attitude stinks.

Tried to call it back, but advised the ext was out of service and not forwarding ext, also not voice mail. I would think a proffessional buisness would have working phones.

These bozo's have called 5 times looking for someone with the same surname as me but different first name.Have told them that I don't know the person they are looking for,yet they still call and leave personal info about this guy on my answering machine.

I received 3 calls on my answering machine asking for someone not living at my residence. So to be kind I phoned them back after the 3rd call to let them know they had the wrong phone number. The woman I spoke with was the rudest individual I've ever spoken to. She never identified her company or gave me any details of why they were calling just wanted the name and a number. I didn't keep a record of the number they wanted, why would I? We ended the conversation in a yelling match.
They need to realize they are calling private residences.We pay for this service so they better improve their telephone skills.

keep getting phone calls despite no information from them - just that it is in your best interest to call.  Said they mailed info - no mail.  Will not stop calling. I do not owe any money!
