- indyj replies to TH...I get these calls constantly and I've found a way to atleast deny them an answer. Here's what I suggest; with a cell phone you can assign a name to the "unknown caller/ unrecognizable caller" such as "col 1" as the name for collections when you're sure these are collectors trying to reach you....they will use a multiple of call numbers so as you determine that they are collectors assign them as "col 2" and so on. Now when you get repeat calls from these numbers in the future you'll know not to answer them....just a suggestion!
- TonyI paid my medical bills in full from a procedure I had almost 3 years ago but continue to get calls on my landline and cell phone every day from these people. The hospital even called them on my behalf to tell them to leave me alone, that I've been paid up for years... and the collection agency hung up on the hospital representive. They scream at me that I'm going to go to jail if I don't pay up and that I'm a deadbeat. I told one man that his records were wrong and he called me a liar and an idiot. I've reported them to the police for harassment, but the cops can't really do anything.

- S T replies to LolThese people at RR have made our life living H over small medical bills. They set up fake PO boxes and phone numbers for bills they take over and claim to be the company for the original debt. They went after my spouse for a small bill I owed and I had made regular agreed payments on to UT hospital. We both had heart surgery there and UT collected about 200,000 off us and insurance. I owed 320 and was paying that down every month as agree. RR got it and they refused to take the agree payments and proof it was my bill and my receipts, and he never signed for it. I was too ill from heart problems and light strokes to work, so they sued him and not me, then told him if he paid the agreed payments, they would drop the suit and he did not have to take off work and go to court. He made one payment and RR went to court anyway and lied to the judge and said he refused to come to court and got judgement, THEN NEVER TOLD US. We found out when his workplace let us know we had a judgement on our credit files. The clerk told us later the RR lawyer does that all the time. My husband lost his position at work and his salary was taken away and he was placed on hourly wages and 30% less income over them going to his job and calling him there and suing him. Then they went after us on paid accounts and old accounts from years back that were not ours or expired. Every year they do something. They are carrying all the old Tennova debts now, and pretending to be the Tennova Financial department. Up front they only send out the current debt. If you send them a payment, they dump any expired time-barred debts with it, then take the payment off old debts and not the new. Call the attorney general and the dept of consumer affairs if they come after you. Or hire an attorney and sue them. They break the law all the time and do not care.
- GoPackGoMedical debt collection company that will not give you any info regarding the debt they are trying to collect until YOU give them sensitive identification info first. Well, no dice. Rude, unrelenting, and they call from myriad phone numbers.

- elizabethThis is a scam. Don't answer them. Save the number on your phone.
- MeganCalled, but didn't leave a message.
- ChuckNormally, I don't answer any calls from an 800 or 900 number. I have gotten several calls from this number. I now recognize it, and don't answer; in fact, they called just now, twice within five minutes. I did answer last week, and a woman said there are 13 medical bills in their file I owed. This was from a hospital stay, where I was seen by several doctors. I did have several small bills that were copays for insurance, but had already written a number of checks to the various clinics and doctors. I told her this, and asked her to fax or email me the list she was seeing on her screen so I could pay whichever ones I may have missed. Incidentally, the average amount of these copays was about $15.
She hung up on me.- Call type: Debt collector
- guylesI got a call from this number i did not answer it. I never answer any call that I don't know the number. But they left a very creepy voicemail. I could hear people talking in the background but the person leaving the voicemail said nothing. All i could hear was the person breathing sorta heavy for about 30 seconds all creepy like.
I see this is a debt collector from r.r.c guess they have a new tactic of trying to be creepy to get a call back. Just thought I'd let people know.- Caller: rrc

- REALLY replies to Annoyed yet againI'm so tired of these calls and they are not for me.... High tech?? Wow these annoying ppl have to work but what a waste of my time! No more!!!
- GaryI just got a call from this number. The caller id says, "TOLL FREE CALLE". I never answer the phone, unless I can clearly see who's calling. Most of the debt collection companies are just liars, trying to rob people. If you really owed a debt, you would first receive a bill in the mail. :-)
