I was expecting a package for my Grandson and thought this might be the card to let me know they were out of the product I wanted. I even thought it was at the postoffice. Now I thank everyone who started this message, I am glad I did not get the package and have to pay for something I did not order. This should STOP!
Poor business for any company. Can't they work on better advertisements?
BBB should go after them.
STOP and have your team leader take classes at DAVE RAMSEY'S Office about how to make a sale.

Thanks for the teamwork, so I avoided the trap. Speaking of traps--be careful about getting "free business cards"--they got my name and claimed I had "ok'd" a monthly charge of  $14.95 on my credit card (that I used to "verify the free business cards." Shame on me for not catching it for 6 mos--it is very cleverly disguised on the monthly credit card summary. so--my "free business cards cost me about $100--since you got absolutely nothing for your 14.95. The company's name was Vista Print Rewards and the charge each month was identified as &MVQVPClubUS with a phone number 888-243-6185. They are CROOKS!

Old Hickory TN...got the card in the mail today. Called after hours just to see what the voice mail said as to what company it was and of course it just states that if you are calling about he card leave your name, number and control # and they would get back to you.....I hung up, that told me all I needed to know. Recycle bin here comes another piece of paper!

I received a card from EWS with this #: 1-877-269-9025.  When I called (during business hours) they asked me to leave my info.  I don't even know what EWS is but the card has different people dressed in various outfits...

I received an EWS We Have A Parcel Delivery For You card Friday in Antioch, TN.  Phone number on card was 1-888-498-6873.

I got the same card in the mail here in Antioch TN today. Card looked strange with no return address on it so I looked it up on the internet. One thing I found strange was that my card had a different phone number to call- rest of the card sounded the same. The number to call on my card was 1-888-498-6873. Have they gotten a few complaints so that now they have changed their number? I went ahead and checked the BBB but it said 0 complaints. I still filed a complaint about the type of advertising that EcoWater Systems of Middle Tennessee must be doing stating they have a parcel delivery for you. I am cautious about this type of mail.

I received this same card from EWS in the mail today.  I live in Antioch and I tried to Sly Dial the number and it will only take valid cell phone numbers.  I wonder if they charge something to your credit card or something.  Seems definitely to be a scam.

I received a card from EWS and since I was not expecting a package delivery so I googled them and this is what I've found.

Basically from what I've read from everyone's response about this type of marketing is alarming.

This type of marketing should have a name, and that name should be "Vampire". The reason I call them Vampires is because you have to invite them in.

So spread the word and tell everyone you know to watch out for Vampire Marketing.

this information helped me out A LOT!! I was about to call and see what "parcel" I had waiting for me.

Received this postcard in Antioch, TN yesterday. Was getting ready to call them and decided to look up the company name, EWA, first. Glad these posts were here before I called.

According to information supplied by the company, it offers water treatment products and is an authorized Ecowater Systems Dealer. The company also offers the sale of filters and softners to improve the quality of water.

EcoWater Systems markets it products through direct mail advertising which states "We have a parcel delivery for you." The parcel delivery includes a 4-pack of reverse osmosis bottled water in a reusable sports cooler, a $10 gift card to a neighborhood Kroger store and a free water analysis that will be performed by a water technician. This is a free service EcoWater provides to families in the area. There is no cost or obligation to receive the parcel delivery which includes the free water analysis.

Like the rest of you, I too received a post card in the mail. I decided to do a little digging and with the help of a previous post located the name of the owner of this business. Upon googling the name I found a website about Ebay scams. Please read post # 52 on the below website. It seems like there may be more then meets the eye to this one.

My elderly mother got the card in the mail in Oct 2010 so this company has been doing this for years!  Unbelievable.  These people are in La Vergne, Tennessee.  EcoWater Systems, 5405-B Murfreesboro Road, La Vergne.  I'm going to visit.

Surprised to hear of VISTA-Print using such a shady and dishonest practice.  I have done business with Vista-Print for about 7 years (about 1 order a year), and always placed my order from their website.  They have always provided a good product for a low price in all of my orders.  But, I will certainly look up my past credit card bills just to be sure.
 FYI, today I received the EWS "We have a parcel delivery for you" postcard.  Thanks to all for reporting on this sleezy come-on.  We had Eco-water salesmen at the house years ago and we laughed them out the door when they wanted $7K to install their product.

The Ecowater dealer does have a parcel.  We received a free case of water.  You get the free gift regardless of whether you buy or not.  I love my Ecowater products.  It sure makes cleaning so much easier.  Glad I made the call.

Got a postcard today saying "EWS WE HAVE A PARCEL DELIVERY FOR YOU"

then gave a control number and said to call 1-888-498-6873.

I didn't bother to call since I found out it was a scam just by searching for EWS.

I Live in LaVergne, I may have to go visit these people.
