caller called 6 time hang up each time.
i have a nonpublished  call blocker number
one two relatives have this number.
had it since january.  use cell phone for all calls
no credit problems  have capital one but they dont
have this home number and never use the card.  

ive reported each call to missouri and federal
i will issue a police report if they call again

i have a disabled federal officer at the home
and they have woke him up several times.

i will prosecute and civil action against this harassment

im very upset

They called me asking for my ex-husband of 13 years who never resided at this residence!!

i have had calls from this number several times.  the latest was at 8:30 on a Sunday morning!  what i find really interesting, is that i do not now, nor have i ever had a Capital One account.....

Received a call from this number at 9:46PM.  For collections, this is ILLEGAL, they cannot call after 9:00PM.  I know, I used to work for a collections company.

This is a scam, pure and simple.

Person has called twice in two days looking for someone who does not live at our number.  She says this is the number she has been given for this person.  When I asked who she was, she said it was a matter between her and the other person.  I told her if she needed to talk to this person so badly, she would know their number

Got calls from this number for the last 4 weeks, usually 10+ times a day.  I have requested to be taken off of their calling list- I have not had a capital one account in over 7 years since they lost my business. Very interesting though, was that they asked for my brother-in-law, not me.  I guess I have him to thank for it.  It took me three weeks before I could finally understand who they were asking for.  They always apologize and tell me that I will be taken off their list within 24-48 hours.  That's b.s.
I only answer the phone now when I need to vent.  Sometimes I almost look forward to their call...

I get calls from this number several times a week.  I see from this site that it is a company that perhaps purchases old debt from Capital One.  I had a CO account almost 15 years ago, then went through some personal crises and all my cards went to collection in 1997.  As I have had no activity on my account since early that year, my understanding is that they can still bother me for the money, but they cannot take me to court.  I am now on disability and make $339/mo.  I live with my boyfriend who is on Social Security and makes $624/mo.  This gives us a monthly income of $963 and we pay $550 in rent.  We are left with not a lot, obviously, and I just don't have the money to pay them off.  Has anyone had a similar situation and managed to get them to stop calling?  If so, I would love to hear it.  My email is karla3000@gmail.com.

Continually calls at all hours

been getting these calls at all hours starting at 8am until about 7pm. I'm so upset because I have sleep during the day and they always call me and I lose sleep all the time.  Anyhow I called the number they said they would take me off it was an Indian man also.  They asked me if I had any capital one accounts because they said it would effect my accounts I told him no i do not even though I do. Immediately after I called capital one and they said they ARE NOT affiliated with this company Allied and DO NOT ever give out any info.  THey said they have been receiving LOTS of calls from their cardholders about this.  To settle all of this I'm canceling my Capital One account today because it seems they are the only credit card company that gets has all these imposters I get that spam mail from them too.  Maybe these identity thieves know that alot of people have Capital One. My advice to everybody is if you need a major credit card get one from your bank. I've never had problems with the one from my bank. Hope this info helps

I have received on average 10 hang-up calls per day for about two weeks now.  I don't have caller ID, but my husband and I were getting so aggravated that we'd *69 at random when we received the hang ups; the result always showed this number.  Finally, miracle of miracles, I got a recording to "hold on the line while a represetative was connected" (this was on the third call this Saturday morning at 10:00 am!)  The person asked to speak to "Amy" and I told her I wasn't Amy and there wasn't an Amy in residence. She then asked to speak to Amy xxxxx, and I informed her that there was no Amy here, that an Amy had never lived here, and that I was sick and tired of receiving hang-up phone calls from her company.  The response... "I'll make a note of your response" and another hang up!  Please, please, please - let this be the end!

calls 8 to 10 times everyday for the last month. have called them back to ask to be taken off their calling list and then received 2 more calls following. How do I make it stop?

Send them this letter (VIA Certified Mail, with return receipt requested.

If they keep calling you after you have received proof that they have received it, they are in violation of FDCPA laws and can face fines of up to $1,000 PER violation.

Just got a brand new cell phone.  Within 30 minutes of activating it, I started getting calls from this number.  On Saturday, they called every single hour starting at exactly 8:30 am.  Next call 9:30 am, 10:30 am, etc.  I called up and told them this is a brand new cell phone and if they don't stop calling me I will report it as harassment.  They asked if I know someone Corbett Jr. who probably skipped town with a host of unpaid bills.  I told them no and they said they will take the number off the list and to allow 24 hours for the system to update.

I constantly get calls from this number even though I am on the national do not call list and have no debt.  This is getting very annoying.

Recieved several calls about 8ish a.m. Waited for someone to answer the automated call.They wanted MY account #..Nope Flag down..Yes I do have a C.O. card with no over due payments.What to do to charge a company like this..Class action ?? Calling outside working hrs..Yes there only certain hrs a collector can call.Put # on DO NOT CALL List..

Calls everyday starting at 9:30.  When I answer there is a message "Please hold."  Today I answered and waited, then a call rep ask for my father in-law.  Maybe he put our number as his number, but I doubt it.  Just another collection agency.

I think these telemarketers like to harass people for fun. When they call me I don't answer the phone. These telemarketers need to grow up and find another line of work. They need to understand that other people have feelings and do not like for telemarketers to bother them.

Got a call on NEW YEARS DAY morning at 8:29am for my daughter who lives in another state.  She has never lives at my present address...how do these people get thire phone numbers???  I must say that at the time of the call I was less than cordial to the person on the other end of the line.
