Just like the people above, I just received a call from this number (for the first time) and my 24hr Fitness just expired.  Perhaps they're going to ask me to rejoin?  Not gonna happen.

Calls about 3 times a day with a recording that hangs up automatically when it discovers an answer machine. Unlike Google details I do not and never had a gym membership.

my advice would be that next time you go to the gym let them know you are changing your home number and give them a fake number to avoid their tendency to over call.

Yes, they call MULTIPLE times a day.  It's always a computer.  I shouldn't have to answer the phone and talk to a computer to get them to go away.  I'm sure they either want me to renew or they think I owe them money.

I had a pre-paid membership that expired and after getting a recorded message from someone claiming they were 24 hr fitnesss attempting to collect a debt, I called a listed number for 24 hr Fitness and was told that 888 900-3194 was NOT a number from their credit department and they put a note on my account not to call or bother me about renewal. I did not owe anything, so it just may be a scam, I did not call the 888 number.

These people keep calling for another person, I'm assuming someone who used to have this phone number.  I do not answer calls if I don't recongnize the phone number.  I get them several times a day and have finally spoken to someone and asked them to take my name off of their list and that I have never had an account with "24 hour fitness.  I believe I have gotten one or two more calls and just let the answering machine go, and then they hang up.

It is 24 Hour Fitness. It's definitely a call center, if they are calling you then you owe money plain and simple. You signed a contract with them.

What got me was my card was stolen so I got a new one and they charged me a $15 fee for the card declining, what [***] is that. I have never had a company charge a fee for a declined card, check yes, but card no.

24 Hour Fitness nuisance calls coming in at all hours. Completely illegitimate claim - and they verified previously that I do not owe them any money. Avoid this company like the plague!

It is 24 Hour Fitness wanting me to renew my annual membership over the phone. I would rather do it at the place I work out at only a block away from home, not over the phone. Next time send a bill. Geez

My membership isnt due until the end of October 2009 and they are already hounding me for a payment!!  Come on people, it is not like I am passed due or anything.  Extremely poor customer service (if you even want to call it that).  They treat you like you are a dead beat and havent paid your bill.... mine isnt even due yet!!!  They said they sent me out a notice in July as a "reminder"... well I dont know where they sent it, but it obviously wasnt sent out like they say, or it was sent to someone else because I dont have a bill or notice.  I am seriously questioning if my promotional $49 per year is even worth it at this point.

If they call your cell for whatever telemarketing excuse, it's not legal.

I get these damn calls several times a day on my phone. I have blocked the number, but the automated service leaves a message on my phone. The calls aren't even for me, I've never joined 24 Hour Fitness, they're trying to reach someone else. Frustrating!

I work a reversed schedule and keep finding this number on my caller ID when I come in, they must have called 7 to 10 times a day. Never heard of them, never done business with them, and know I'm sure I never will...

I, too, have never had any dealings with 24hr fitness, but I get robo-calls 6-7 times per day - it seems like they are increasing in frequency!  This should be illegal, IMO.

It's always the same message "this is 24 hour fitness calling for Robbie Gordon..." I don't know who that is. I get about 4 calls a day!!!! It is very annoying.
