- Caller: 24h Fitness
- makiI called them back tonight. They knew my membership was up for renewel. They also knew my address and of course my phone number. They wanted my credit card info over the phone. I asked them to send me a bill by mail... they promptly hung up on me!

- TThese people call at least twice a day, sometimes more, every day of the week and they are very annoying. They leave the same message. No one uses their services and no one wants to after all this harassment. It would be great to stop them from calling so often if anyone can give me an answer on how to do so.
- Caller: 800 Service is all that appears
- KTAnswered & music was playing.
Was about to hang up annoyed when someone started speaking superfast.
After asking her to repeat herself:
Nadine from 24 hour Fitness asked to speak to my former roommate. She not only hasn't lived in the US for over a year, she hasn't been a member with them for AT LEAST 2 years (I think closer to 4).
The number is now a cell phone under my name & on the DO NOT CALL list.
Are they allowed to call the # because they have some old # of some ex-member?
Anyway, I explained the situation & they claimed they'd remove me.
If they call again, they're definitely being reported as violating DONOTCALL.- Caller: 24 Hour Fitness

- Kimberly, CAI have been calls 3-5 times a day from this number 1-888-900-3194 since June. It's s tupid automated call with a computerized voice stating it's very important they speak to me. And in the message they also if this is not Kimberly, please press 2. I press 2 to see if they will stop calling and nope, they still do. It is so annoying!! Even on weekends they freakin' call!!! I was a memeber with them 2 years ago and my memebrship expired so I know I don't owe them anything. I received a letter from them wanting me to rejoin again for $99/year but I never responded cause I am not interested. I mean by me ignoring them, they should get the point that I am interested but they are very persistant...Than that's when the calls started... what kinda crap is that? I also put my number under do not call list and they are still call... I don't know what to do now.
- Caller: 24 HRS FITNESS (SORRY!!!)
- Call type: Telemarketer
- AnnoyedThis is a 24 hour fitness call...I called the corporate office and got yet another person who could barely communicate in the English language to me...turns out because my bank had changed my debit card number my auto payment was canceled and they needed my new number...All this aside I still say it is REDICULOUS to have someone from overseas call a person and the first thing they do is ask for your card info without cause...the crazy part is that I am sure some people just give it to them without looking into it!
- Ben Colorado| 1 replyI have been getting calls on my cell phone from this number every day for the last week. I haven't answered the calls, and most of the time the caller does not leave a message. I did get two or three messages, though, and all of them started with music playing and ending with someone saying, "hello?, hello?" and then hanging up.
A little background:
I had to cancel my bank card about 3 weeks ago because of fraudulent activity. (As Im writing this, my phone rings again from this number, as if they know I'm talking about them.) As a result, I had to set up all my automatic payments on the new card once I received it. My membership to 24 hour fitness didn't go through, because my old card was cancelled, and I didn't have the new one yet. When this happened, I received a call from a woman at my home 24 hour finess center (where I initially joined) to let me know of the problem. I spoke to them, and they told me that I could not give them my new card number over the phone. I would have to go to a 24 Hour Fitness center, and they would have some paperwork for me to sign. I told them I would be in to do that.
I didn't know that this 888 number was related to my 24 hour Fitness membership until I found this website today. I decided to call the number back, and sure enough, I reached someone in Jamaica. They had all my information, and told me that I could pay my 24 hour fitness bill over the phone. After reading some of the posts on this site, and my own experience 3 weeks ago, there was no way I was going to give my card number to someone in Jamaica who may or may not work for 24 hour Fitness, especially since the people at my own 24 hour fitness wouldn't let me give them my card number over the phone. The call I mentioned above while typing came 5 minutes after I had just gotten off the phone with them, and the message was clearly from "twenty four HOURS fitness" and not "twenty four HOUR fitness". It's possible that this is a legitimate outsourced collection agency for 24 hour fitness, but I highly doubt it since I received calls from my own home 24 hour fitness.
One more thing: The second person I spoke to from Jamaica informed me that I would be taken off of their call list after I go in to a 24 hour fitness center and pay my outstanding bill. I'm on my way in after I post this, so if I get a call from them tomorrow, I'll be sure to make another post. I promise it won't be as long as this one. (Sorry)- Caller: 24 "HOURS" Fitness

- G. CannonI get several calls a day from this number. The first call left an automated message stating something about 24 Hour Fitness.

- AndrewThe [***]. This happened a copule years ago, the woman asked for my card number, expiration date, numbers on the back AND my social security. I was like "No fing way". So I called 24 Hour and I got in contact with the head of security for the area who said that it was a scam. I felt good.
Turns out it wasn't a scam, my card had expired or some such. But it was interesting that the head of security couldn't figure that out about my account and thought it was a scam!!
I had told them I'd update the info in the gym, but htey said it can't happen like that. I ignored it.
Now I'm with them again, and I guess I changed my address. They call once or twice a day, and I don't pick up from random numbers, and I don't call back unless htey leave a message, so I googled the number and found this.
Oh well - I'll go into the gym and see what they say.
I'll just let them spend $29 worth of calling me each month so that they really don't make anything at all from me. - Julie replies to Klini| 1 replyThis is indeed an automated service from 24 hour fitness, but it is a terrible service. I have an up to date account and have spoken to five different people from 24-hour Fitness about stopping the calls and I still get them 4 times a day, weekends and weekdays from 8 am to 9:30 at night. No one can seem to make a note on my account to make it stop and it's been going on for weeks! They're bordering nuisance lawsuit time.
- AnnoyedInSactoCalled 33 times in two weeks. At first twice per day, then three times per day. Never left a message until the 33rd call. Message was an automated voice that said it was 24 Hour Fitness calling for a someone I've never heard of.

- Kellie| 1 replyLegit call from 24 Hour Fitness, as my membership dues were due. They did call about once per day for the last few days, but always during normal hours. When I answered, there was an automated system that automatically put me through to a "real" person, and I had no problems with him. I did not experience any hold time with music, etc.

- Estebong replies to Kelliethank god for this forum. i have been receiving calls from this number for about 10 days now, 4 times a [***] day, i picked up twice, no answer. sunday morning, saturday morning , both days while im hungover i do not need that. last month my gym pass from 24 hour expired and i googled the number and found this thread, thanks, i hope they call back and someone answers.
- lintI am receiving at least 2 to 3 calls a day and there is nothing on the other end. ever!
- irritatedI have been receiving calls from this number for several weeks, twice a day every day. At first I answered and an automated voice asked for Rachel Melissa. Well, that's not me so I hung up. They kept calling so eventually I answered again. I waited through the push button menu options that other people here have described and eventually got to the point where I could press 2 because Rachel Melissa is not at this phone number. They kept calling. I did that again. They kept calling. I finally said that yes I was Rachel Melissa, hoping to talk to someone, and someone did eventually come on the line. I politely, but with irritation in my voice, informed the lady that Rachel Melissa is not at my number, she apologized and said she would remove my number from her record. I thanked her and hung up. They kept calling. I have tried twice more since then to talk to people, and each time I have gotten someone live, but the moment I try to tell them that they have the wrong number, they disconnect.
I've never been a member of 24 hrs fitness, or any other gym. Harrassment is a really bad way of getting people to join, or rejoin, your gym. Especially when the harrassers are completly non-responsive to people who are innocent bystanders. I will not be joining 24 hrs fitness and any conversations I have involving them will include me bashing them for these calls.- Caller: 24 hr fitness
- DevanThis number calls about 2 times a day asking for a Magon. I have told them every time that they actually have a person that this is not her phone number and has not been for more then a year. Usually they just hang up on me.
