It does no good to complain. I've written the FCC, the FTC, the governor, the attorney general and reported them to the DoNotCallRegistry. I've been told they can't do anything with 'only one complaint." REALLY!! Folks, lets bombard the attorney general with millions of letters of complaint then maybe they'll sit up and take notice.

So, what do you expect them to do about the jurisdictional problem? The one where these people are in a different county?

Called early on Friday evening.  Caller ID listed "800 Service."  Left no message.  But, as soon as I saw it was "800 Service," I knew it was the Microsoft scam.  They have phoned multiple times in the past.

Other than it was a call from MSFT from a “Kathy Jackson”, the message was unintelligible. Hung up, had gotten this before.

Called my DNC registered landline. Kathy Jackson with a very poor Robo message to call back to get a refund for technical service I paid for since Microsoft was going out of business. The stock closed at a 52 week high today and I haven’t had a Windows machine since XP.

Well same thing , but they asked me t see in front of my computer so they can refund $249  that they said I paid. I told them that my computer was in a box because I am the process of moving. She said she will wait for me t get it out of the box. I said sorry the box is not with me. I keep playing the game. I said is there any other way I can get the refund. She said they will call me back!  What are they trying to do? Get my computer destroy ny a virus or what else?

Almost the same call but not quite. No names involved. No spokeswoman name, no company. No $$ amount. Said "The Company" was ordered to close and that I had paid for tech on my recent purchase and I had to call back to get my money back. Weird way to read a phone number, too. Normally its xxx, then yyy, then zzzz breaking it up like a real phone number. But the recording read it in pairs. Had to listen to the callback number several times because my brain is trained to hear a phone number in a certain way. Scam all the way.
