I have been getting more and more calls with a caller name (CNAM) of "Robo?", or "Scam?", or something like "Suspect?".  I'm guessing that the vermin that are originating these calls aren't supplying that hint, so maybe my VOIP provider is helping out.  This one arrived with "Robo?" followed by the number.  Kathy Jackson (HAL's sister) urged me to call this number to get a refund.  Let me guess, I'll bet I would have to send a "small" processing fee to dislodge the refund.  I hope that everyone is wise to this very old scam.

9/19/18-Called we twice today and several times past days.  Claim I am due a refund from microsoft that I know nothing about.  SCAM!!

Message left by robo voice.  "Please call our toll free number 888-919-6138 to get your refund. Again 888-919-6138. Thank you."  Will block this bogus number!

Received call saying I was due a refund that I needed to sign in on line and they would help me fill out papers for a $400 refund. I said I needed to check this out and he hung up on me SCAM!

recorded message saying computer service and wanted to refund money to us. forced to close operation.

They want to return money form Microsoft.  Saying they have been ordered to close.

Kathy Jackson called microsoft to refund me money a service i have(not).... never called them back.  Get numerous scam calls daily.   SICK AND TIRED IF ALL THESE CALLS.

I have received several messages from 8889196138 offering a refund for computer service I had paid for. No company mentioned, but it is closing and refunding fees. I would like them to stop calling, but haven't yet been able to block them on my phone.

Robo scam caller identified and blocked by anti-robo subscription service.

Claimed I had refund due for Microsoft Tech Support, as the company was being "ordered" to close.  I knew it was a scam because I hadn't paid for it.  Terrible these things happen so often now.

The same scam everyone else is reporting.  I let the call go to voice mail and the recorded voice urged me to call to receive my refund.  Garbage!!

This number called me saying I was owed a refund. How can I get a refund from something I never bought in the first place? It looks very fishy to me. I think it is a scam to get your credit card number or bank account number.

Been getting this call 9196831.  I keep calling them back, about 40 times today, to see how far I can take them (hey, I'm retired...they want to play games, I'm game).  Is there a way that some federal agency can be engaged since they are using a number that can be called back.

They don't want a processing fee.  They want your credit card number.

My caller was named Kathy Jackson. Same scam attempt. It seems that everyone has an assigned robocaller that identifies itself by other names for each number.
I really hate it when the message overrides an answering machine's greeting before it's finished. Be aware that some robocalls are starting to sound more human and less automated.

Left message same message as those who are reporting. Do not hang up, you are entitled to a refund for techinal service you paid for a few weeks ago. Please call 8889196138 immediately ,

Same story as most have already reported here. In my case, the poor quality robot voice said something about a refund from a company about to close and asking I call back at the same number. Clearly a scam.
